Fantastic food! The food fresh and the place feels quite cozy. We visited multiple times and each time they were fully booked! We finally were able to make a reservation and find a table for dinner. The tables are sharing tables, so you won't necessarily be alone with your party. The dishes are individual portioned, but are great to share. I loved that each dish included vegetables. We shared a meat platter, smoked salmon toastie, an avocado and salad, and a vegetable platter. And the dessert was amazing!! Do not skip out! We got a peanut butter cheesecake. YUM.

Super cute place, feels like you're at your parents house getting a home cooked meal. The decor and design is super homely and make you feel comfortable. We had the beef platter and shrimp salad. It was short of lacking flavor, everything was cooked to perfection. I would only say that the beef was a little too salty for my liking, however still delicious! Lastly we finished off with their red velvet cake, and boy let me tell you...save some room for it! It's heavenly!

Reservation is a must. Had to come back the next day because it was fully booked and I can understand why after having a meal here. The food is made with fresh ingredients in a simple honest to goodness way but the flavours were interesting and complimented each other. Had both the chicken and mushroom toastie, a wrap and the steak platter and capped it off with the dessert platter and left full and happy. Definitely returning if I'm in Porto again

Mushroom Toastie - so fresh and delicious!

We were only in Porto for a few days, but managed to come here twice! The food tastes fresh and homemade. We got the toasties, which were loaded so much you could barely see the toast underneath! I got the mushroom one and they were some of the best mushrooms I've ever had! It was satisfying, and because there was so much fruit and veggies on top it didn't leave me feeling boated. The waiter spoke English and was very friendly and helpful. If you're in Porto, find this place!

Delicious food prepared well. I eat a vegan diet, my wife does not. This was probably our best meal in Portugal.

Pretty good! The restaurant is located inside the Sao Bento train station to the left as you walk…read morein from the tiled entrance. Definitely recommend making a reservation, I found it impressive that the hostess's reservation system was essentially a notebook and pen in this digital age. We did not see much of our waiter, since the restaurant was extremely busy and filled up with diners. Standouts: 1. Razor clams - I'll always get these if I see it on the menu. Cooked in this incredible garlic sauce. 2. Fish and seafood cataplana - delicious, tomato-forward seafood stew; I liked the version that we had the night before more which came with rice and was more filling. But this was basically a never-ending bowl of fish, clams, mussels, and shrimp. Add to that the fact that the restaurant like most in Porto did not have A/C and I emerged feeling like I had been sitting in a sauna. Skipped dessert; I had my eye on the Weeel! froyo truck parked outside. One more nit - the metal chairs are not comfortable at all for sitting a long time in.

We ordered a few tapas to share: croquets de alheira and croquets de codfish. Both were so good! We loved it. The star of the show though was the pork neck tacos! They were so delicious! So much flavor and perfect. I got the lemonade and it was just okay. Nothing special. Overall, would 100% recommend this place! Make a reservation if you can but if you can't, would still try to stop by!
