Brakes made a funny noise they'd never heard before but ultimately it wasn't their fault, tires wound up having a manufacturing defect so not their fault either, and alignment they redid but the steering wheel was still off center while driving. So big picture - nothing out of this world in terms of expectations of their abilities to fix.) Instead, they call and tell me "It's not a good fit working with you." This is work they originally did, that I even offered to pay for it to be checked again, and they're now telling me "We're not working with you anymore. Find someone else." I would stay away from any mechanic that doesn't stand by the work they do.

While they held it hostage all winter, they helped themselves to using my new truck camper, racked up almost 350 hours on the propane generator, broke the bathroom door frame, got greasy handprints all around the bathroom windows and skylights. As a result my mother got stuck in a nursing home I couldn't get her to Florida to a house there, and she was killed by the home with the cornholio 19 scamdemic shots. The owner not only ripped me off held it hostage, also had the nerve to hit on me. Absolutely shameless male toxic behavior.

However, I paid $18 for a wash that included a Tire Shine but when I got home the tires were NOT done. They were clean, but not shiny. It was my fault because I should have gotten out of the car to insure that I got what I paid for. So if you pay $18 make sure you get out of your car and inspect the tires. One important note the Vacuums outside when you Exit the wash are not working and I heard they will be moved to the front where you Enter the car wash because it is a large area for cars to move around. All and all, this is a great car wash. They do NOT do the inside of your car, only exterior.

My car was making a burning rubber smell when it ran and I brought it to Cappello's suspecting it…read morewas coming from my serpentine belt. The guys thoroughly troubleshot the issue: they drove it and figured that it was actually coming from an oil leak. They power-washed the engine bay, drove it some more, and determined the exact source of the leak. They gave everything another look and after finding engine gunk determined that the car probably didn't have the most regular oil changes in its past. (In my defense, it was a used car - I'm an every-5,000-miles kind of guy). This also surprised me, since the car had been to a certain 3-letter luxury car dealership twice in the last year and this leak was never discovered. The next day, the issue was fixed, all fluids topped-off, and I was on my way. The guys stayed open late so I could pick up my car and explained all of the work that was done; no shady up-sell. I've been to many mechanics over the years - national chains, "quick lubes", luxury dealerships, domestic dealerships, "discount" tire shops all around the country. This place is, by far, the most thorough, honest, and professional place I've ever been - I felt like I was personally being attended to.

The car passed the inspection from another state already, and when they did NY state inspection, they told us the rear brake was low and advised us to get a new one. So we spent $1000 on that. And we didn't negotiate the price, which was a mistake. While we were waiting, we saw all other customers negotiate, so don't forget to do that if you want a more reasonable price. After the replacement, it passes the inspection again. And we were on our way cross state for the holiday. Only after about 30 miles, we noticed the rear brake had major issues and it was not safe to drive, but by that time, we were already in New Jersey. We had to call towing company spending money to tow it, and it definitely delayed our trip. We went back the next day, and they wouldn't take accountability for this. They said when they inspected it, it was all fine. Even when we ask them, how come this happened after we spent $1000 replaced a new brake. This is unacceptable. They did end up repairing it for free, but we couldn't make to our holiday gathering on time and wasted so much time waiting for the expensive towing.
