The service call was on a Sunday, so I certainly understand the premium charge. But I was essentially charged $500 for labor to unplug and plug in a new thermostat (a $200 part). No new wiring, just plug and play. The tech did check the furnace and air conditioner, but my total bill was $700. Again, I understand the Sunday premium charge, but a $500 labor charge is way too extreme. I'm rating them a 3, only because the tech was very helpful, but I would have rated them much lower because of an obvious price gouging practice that this company uses, which was extremely disappointing. I've learned a very hard lesson to never use them again..

We recently had the most frightening experience!!! The smoke alarm went off and our security company called us to see if we were okay. My husband immediately shut off the circuit breaker. With the burned part in hand, we drove out to Ace hardware, Lowes and even home depot and they did not have the plug connector assembly relay we needed. It's now almost 8pm so out of desperation, We began calling the 10 local businesses in the Area on the Google list of 24/7 on call HVAC contractors. We left voicemail everywhere nobody was available to assist us it was 105 degrees ( real feel temps) with NO AC. We called Cool C HVAC and we were called right back by the owner. He spoke with my husband in regards to our issue. He even went out to his warehouse to check to see if he had the part (6 pin TE connector) we needed. Mind you this was on a week day well after hours. Cool C HVAC resolved our HVAC issue and were able to get our AC up and running in less than an hour. 1.) Staff : 5+ 2.) Location: 5 3.) BTW: the original faucet was a bear to remove due to deep rust that had accumulated. The charge for everything was just under $200 and well worth it. It was the first time I'd used Goose Creek HVAC & Plumbing but after this, they are now my "go to" guys.
