I asked for a simple, natural shape (straight with soft edges see my left hand reference). What I got was completely uneven and bad shape. She used an extremely thick, aggressive file on my natural nails, and kept saying "tell me if it hurts" while literally filing my nails down to nothing. She filed my nails into a shape I did NOT ask for. When I politely asked her to straighten them, she did it once, handed my hand back, and they were still uneven. I asked again, "as straight as possible." After 2X times I just said "okay, that's fine" because it clearly wasn't improving. She then looked me dead in the face and said, "if you want, you can just leave." No apology, no effort to fix it just rude and dismissive. To top it off, she only worked on ONE hand, completely ignored the other hand, and still charged me $10. They were fully okay letting me walk out with my nails in this condition.
