Her suggestions appeared to be primary budget friendly and not based on quality. I was concerned about sun spots on my face. I know there are many creams and lotions that can remove sun spots. Products were not suggested. She instead referred me to Dr. Hunzeker; Who happens to be in the same practice.

Many years back I went to this office to have a mole removed so i decided to go to there again since they did a decent job. I found the number for the office and scheduled an appointment. When the time of my appointment rolled around, I showed up to this office to find that my appointment was actually scheduled at the office in Greensburg. I rescheduled an appointment for 6 months later and made sure it was for this office. In 6 months time my appointment came up. I left work early and raced to the office so i wouldn't miss my appointment. When i arrived, I checked in with the receptionist and she told me that i needed a referral for this appointment due to my insurance. I do not have any recollection of being told that i will need a referral from my PCP when scheduling this appointment. She then had me reschedule my appointment for 2 months later. I will not be attending this appointment, these knuckleheads have lost a customer. I highly don't recommend this dermatologist. Even before this incident, i had a mole removed about 7 years prior. That experience was terrible as well. When the doctor removed my mole, he did not wait long enough for the numbing agent to work, causing me some serious pain while removing the mole.

I found Dr. Glasser and his assistant Wendy to be funny, comforting and very direct. I would recommend Dr. Glasser to my family and friends.

Last year, I had 3 moles removed by Liz., all of which turned out to be mild dysplasia. That experience was fine and I would have loved to have returned to see either Liz or Dr. Pica. Unfortunately, the physician's assistant is no longer at this office. I was scheduled for a six month check-up, which I cancelled. I decided that I would go for my yearly check up and leave it at that. My first issue began this past February, when I received a rather hefty bill from the office, associated with having the moles removed...last June. I called the office to see why I was receiving a bill this late when I already received a bill from the lab last year in July. I was told by the receptionist that they had to send my info over to my insurance company twice, because the first time the insurance company never responded to them with how much they would cover. I found this hard to believe...insurance companies always seem to respond quickly, especially when it's in their best interest and they are getting paid. But whatever, maybe there was an oversight or an error. However, I still found it odd that it took over eight months to get a bill. My next issue occurred when I scheduled an appointment for both me and my husband: me, for a check up and him to look at a few moles. (Can never be too careful, the older you get! lol). At any rate, I tried to make the two of us appointments back to back, which was near impossible. I was on the phone with the woman for at least 10 minutes just trying to coordinate a time. we could both be seen. I ended up having to reschedule a dentist appointment in order to fit me and my husband in. Also, we had to schedule with Dr. Glasser, whom I had never met in all of years of coming here, but I didn't mind at the time. We arrived a few minutes before our schedule appointment times and the H was asked to fill out paperwork, since it was his first visit. We only waited a few minutes, but were then asked to come back together. I thought this was strange and stated this to the nurse. She asked if we were uncomfortable being seen together. Sure, we're husband and wife, but still...how many people take someone with them to the doctor's office? I will sum up my experience of meeting Dr. Glasser as briefly as possible, because I could truly go on for a great while. He barely looked at my areas of concern. He did not look at the 3 spots where moles were removed until I mentioned them. He asked my husband what he did for a living, and you'd think he worked for NASA or something spectacular. The doc asked my husband so many questions pertaining to his job, that I ended up making a comment to him about it. (You're a little obsessed with this, aren't you?) He removed two moles from my husband, one almost forgetting to numb first, because he was busy talking. Luckily, the nurse (who was friendly) stopped him before he slice a mole off my husband's back with no shot. I found Dr. Glasser's bedside manner to be nonexistent. He was talkative, but was abrupt when answering questions. I had to ask him how to care for the spots he removed on my husband, since he didn't offer any instructions. Overall, I would only return under the following conditions: I couldn't find another dermatologist that I liked in the area and only if I could see Dr. Pica.

Once, he entered the room, I said hello and asked him how he was?.. he said not good. I calmly told him I researched the medication and it was not recommended for those 65 and older (which I am). It is a sedation anti depressant drug that is be taken before bedtime. I live alone and I am on the road driving to work between 6-6:30am and I told him I do not feel comfortable taking this drug. Heart disease also runs in my family and I would rather see if there was something else we could for my skin condition instead. He yelled a profanity at me... "Jesus Christ"... I calmly and politely told him to not swear at me, that it wasn't appropriate to do that to a patient. I think that perhaps Dr. Van Norman needs to be sedated based on his actions today. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.. beyond unprofessional.

Great office. Almost no wait time. You won't regret going here!
