Dr B took a complete inventory of my concerns, answered my questions and suggested an approach to my situation that made sense and, I'm hopeful, will yield results. He spent the best part of 20 minutes with me, which surprised me. That's uncommon. I'm rather perplexed by some of the reviews on here (and elsewhere) that speak about a bad bedside manner and arrogance. That was not my experience at all. He is no-nonsense when it comes to his medical care but that, in my book, is a plus. I found Dr B to be charming, witty, professional and considerate. No privacy at patient check-in's as you could hear everything while sitting in waiting room. Appointments were rushed by Maouad, questions were brushed off, and follow-up care was practically nonexistent. For a place that markets itself as patient-focused, the reality was the exact opposite. I left feeling unheard, dismissed, and no closer to resolving the issue I came in for. Finally left this place and found probably one of best dermatologist in Morgantow. Was sold (twice) their private label skin care products instead of being provided with the prescription medications needed. Even though I got the reduced rate she still put included some specific add-ons for my skin concerns and didn't charge me extra. I was pleasantly surprised by the red light therapy - the sensation was staring into the sun with your eyes closed. At first I was anxious that if I accidentally opened my eyes they would burn but once I relaxed it was really nice. The studio itself was really nice, had to walk up a set of stairs to get to her space. She was waiting for me when I arrived and everything was really safe for COVID-19 including touch less payment.
