Brian Buehler did a small $200 pressure washing task to clean my louvers, rain gutters, and downspouts. They were done and gone in one hour.

Steve provided my mom a bid with a list of everything that would be done, explained things to her and it was quick and simple. Other companies were a bit way too much for what my mom wanted to do, although nice to be aware of other options but it wasn't what she wanted and the quote was double to triple what Steve quoted. Steve was able to schedule out 3-4 weeks for our paint job, he called a couple days before to let us know when he'd be out. First day was power wash and walk through of what colors my mom wanted and where each color would go specifically. My mom is pretty agreeable to anything and she was going to let Steve decide but he told her "I want you to be happy with it." I appreciated that, shows he wanted his customer to be satisfied and not just get the job done. Steve's team did everything he said would be done, made sure to cover and mask off everything. Walk through was done and only a few little spots my mom wanted touched up and Steve took care of it. My mom enjoyed talking to his team and they appreciated it as well. Very satisfied customer, thanks Steve + team!

And he is a nice guy, as are his workers. More importantly they showed up TIMELY and competed the job timely. My house looks fresh! His workers did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend All Access.

We recently hired Gryder Painting to paint the exterior of our home and backyard sheds in Benicia,…read moreand we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Our house is 46 years old, and it now looks nearly brand-new! Their bid was competitive and represented excellent value for the quality of the work. They were extremely thorough in preparing the house--pressure washing, sanding peeling areas, caulking around windows, doors and trim, repairing cracks, resetting or adding nails where needed, and carefully masking and protecting our windows, concrete, landscaping and other property. They applied primer and two coats of quality exterior paint, including special attention to cracks in the wood siding. They also arranged for a separate contractor to take care of wood rot that needed repair before painting. The workmanship was excellent from start to finish. Randy Gryder, the owner, and his crew were personable, professional, careful and easy to work with. It was clear that they took pride in doing the job properly rather than simply getting it done quickly. We are completely satisfied with both the quality of the work and the finished appearance of our home. We would give Gryder Painting an A++ and would not hesitate to hire them again for any future painting needs. We recommend Gryder Painting without reservation.

Kanaka - Kanaka Inc. flooded my garage due to improper roof covering during construction.

Kanaka

(1 review)

I have serious concerns about Kanaka Inc. after an incredibly frustrating experience with Darren…read moreValle for what was supposed to be a straightforward kitchen remodel and bathroom model, and a new pitched roof, so that I could prepare to rent out my starter home. Here are the main issues: (1) Bidding Issues: I was initially quoted $37,800 for what I understood to be a new pitched roof. However, I later learned this was only for repairing a small portion, costing me $11,247.50 upfront, without any adjustment after repeated requests. (2) Timing: The project, initially scheduled to start in April 2024 and be finished by May 2024, dragged on for nine months. Every time I followed up, Darren had a new excuse. (3) Roof Leaks and Flooding: Kanaka Inc. flooded my garage due to improper roof covering during construction, at a time when the garage was full of new appliances, construction materials and my personal belongings. Post-construction, I also dealt with a significant roof leak in the main bedroom, causing further damage. I had to hire additional contractors and pay them for emergency tarping, dehumidification services, and a new roof. (4) Permitting Problems: The project caused my home to be vacant for months due to permitting issues, since they demoed my home before securing a permit. (5) Lost Revenue: I lost 6+ months of potential rental income because the property was not ready by the expected completion date. (6) Incomplete Work: I paid Kanaka a total of $62,925.00 for the bathroom and kitchen remodel. After Darren confirmed with my rental management company that he was abandoning the job, I had to hire even more contractors to finish basic elements in the bathroom and kitchen, which were left incomplete and improperly done. This included hauling away old appliances, hooking up gas lines, completing a faucet install, and removing the trim on my kitchen window so the refrigerator had sufficient clearance to open. I still don't have an oven, certain cabinets don't have sufficient clearance to open, and my bathroom window is still missing outside trim. (7) Lack of Integrity and Accountability: Throughout the project, I was lied to about the quality of the work and when the work would be completed. For example, I was asked to pay $10,000 for completion of the bathroom remodel before the plumbing was even hooked up. After requesting a partial refund in the amount of $18,543 to help address some of the above issues and to complete the work, I was told "I am not going to be able to pay this amount as I have no jobs or workers." Overall, this experience was a financial and emotional drain. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring Kanaka Inc. for any reason. They overcharged, underperformed, and left me in a worse situation than when I started.

A fair price was agreed upon and I told Victor I was happy to wait as long as he needed to work me in. ( He had several larger jobs on the books already). To my delight, he called yesterday and today, June 22, the doors are repaired and repainted and look as handsome as they did when I first purchased my home. Victor is a very easy gentleman with whom to do business. His painters are polite, conscientious, precise and quick. I am so happy I chose this company to complete this work and am a completely satisfied customer. Thank you so much, Victor!
