Ordered a hot chocolate, mocha, biscuit with butter and jam and a breakfast biscuit sandwich (egg, bacon, cheese). Side note: this is the first coffee place I've come across in my travels that offers lactose free milk - yay! The biscuits are huge and filling! They were nice and soft with great flavor. The coffee had a good flavor as did the hot chocolate. Definitely will stop by again when in town. Also bought a small medium to dark roast coffee pack to go. Can sit inside or outside but seating is limited.

I struggle to give 5 stars despite knowing this would become my go to cafe if I lived in Bellingham because the service was very meh. I had my baby with me and held her while I tried to put a to go lid on my cup. Both the barista and the counter server watched me, including making eye contact with me and never offered to assist. It took another customer watching me struggle one-handed with baby in my other arm to ask if I needed help. I know it's not required, but it would be nice to be assisted by servers if they see you struggling. As far as the cafe itself, the lighting is gorgeous, there is tons of seating, and I can tell it is likely a wonderful spot to do remote work or meet with friends or clients.

It was a really clean (outside and in) + decorated cafe and easy to find (right on a street corner). They had a selection of gluten free items to eat, including gluten free focaccia which worked out great since my partner is GF. We ordered a variety of food and coffee (latte and gesha pour over) and even bought a bag of gesha beans to make coffee at home because we thought it was so good. Even though it was a Saturday morning (it was super packed) we still found a table to sit at and were able to enjoy everything. We came back a couple of days later, but we missed the food (the kitchen closes at a specific time) so we ended up getting coffee to go. I'd put this place on my list of favorite coffee shops to eat at in PNW!

With a great view of lake whatcom this coffee shop serves up artisan coffees, as well as craft cocktails. A great place for a midday coffee date, or an evening drink rendezvous. For breakfast this weekend morning I started with the 43 & coffee. A pleasant mixture of bourbon with cold brew in the bottom with a healthy dose of cream on top, and just a hint of orange. This was definitely a top notch treat to start my morning. Next for my meal I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich. This one was very simple when it comes to breakfast sandwiches, but done very well. Egg, bacon, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta bun smeared with garlic aioli. I couldn't have wished for anything more. In an age where everything seems so complicated, I can appreciate simplicity. Excellent flavor delivered in a perfectly sized package. In short our journey to Lakeline was a great experience. I regret not coming to visit sooner, but I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

We stopped here en route to Vancouver and I was shocked to learn that Woods is chain. The level of customer service here, and aesthetic of the location led me to believe it was a cute little local owned spot. The environment inside is warm, gives off a nature vibe, and also almost got me to buy every single merchandise item that Woods has. I got a blueberry smoothie which was excellent. I want to say that it was made with oats, banana, blueberry, spinach, and I added protein powder (plant-based) to mine. Thus, I wasn't left believing that it was just filled with sugar, and actually left me full and feeling GEWD. For my drink I got a dirty chai the first time I came here and caramel iced coffee the second time. The caramel iced does not need any add-ins such as milk or cream I found it to be perfect as is (coming from a lady who cannot drink her coffee black). Quite sad that this isn't on the east coast, but also don't want it to become a nationwide chain and have any chance of losing it's excellence. THANKS WOODS, ILY.

I did meet a friend here for lunch last week and we thought it was just ok. She got their chicken sandwich and I got the turkey club. For sides she got the fries and I got a side salad. We each split our sandwiches in half and shared with each other. The flavor on the chicken sandwich was good, but the piece of chicken was super small. It kinda got lost in the bun! The fries were excellent though. The turkey club was the better of the two sandwiches, although if I'd known it was served with shredded lettuce (as was the chicken sandwich) I would have chosen something else. Shredded lettuce feels more like something they serve at the elementary school cafeteria than in a restaurant. My side salad was good, though. I really enjoyed the simple dressing of olive oil and lemon. What brought the experience down was the incredibly slow service. From waiting to order, to our food taking forever, to a crazy long wait for our check, the entire lunch took much longer than it needed to (well over an hour). I'll give them another shot, because I've heard good things, but this first experience wasn't the best.
