Several months ago we purchased what were told were two Americana hens that were only a few weeks…read moreold. One ended up being a rooster which we understand does happen. However when we went and returned him today after trying to find a good home for him bc unfortunately we cannot have a rooster and I was not successful in placing him anywhere and we found out it wasn't even an Americana . First not a hen, second not even an Americana but I still was not upset bc these mistakes do happen. However, my children did not take returning him well as he has been part of our family for months. We wanted to purchase two more hens that were the same size as all of our other hens. The owner wanted to charge us $60 per hen. He would not even give us a discount at all considering we paid for what we were told was two Americana hens several months ago. I understand this place has been in business a long time but this is very very poor business etiquette. Charging a family for chickens, not even getting the right breed, not even the right sex, then when we try to continue doing business with him he doesn't even offer a discount based on selling us the wrong breed and sex. We will never spend another penny there on anything. I'm all about supporting small family owned businesses but not when we spend our money and didn't even get what we paid for. It really is a shame. His attitude was anything but nice and professional. He was like o well no refunds read the sign. I will be spending money where a business actually cares about their customers and how they do business.

I purchased rock and wood for a new aquarium I am setting up and I was overcharged by more than 50%. When I got home I weighed the wood and rock. I was charged for 7 pounds of wood and only bought 5.5. I was charged for 6.4 pound of rock and only purchased around 2 pounds. After he weighed it in store he was whispering to the cashier how much it came out to and I felt like the price was steep but did not question it at the time. I would love to support local but this place makes it rough. Everything is overpriced in the first place just compare the prices to anywhere else and you can find it for 20-30 percent less if not more. I know Fish Boy will have some great response to this but just look at some other reviews. "In the picture my scale has a 10 lb minimum so I added 2 5lb bags of sand."

According to that site we were supposed to get a dog that was seen by a vet and approved for sale and had all updated shots. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived home to see her shot records only included shots from when she was 1 months old! No rabies shots ever, which is illegal in FL! I reached out to the owner who also stated she had never given her heart worm medication either! I also sent her a picture of Bellas teeth which were in terrible shape. So basically they just bred her and made money off her and then sold her. The owner did agree to pay me for vaccinations and testing (thank goodness she was negative for heart worms). She did pay some after various excuses but missed (again) a promised payment. Please don't buy a puppy from Tiny Puppies World.
