My personal experience with All Surface is mixed. They have a great selection of flooring options. The employees I interacted with were mostly helpful, pleasant and wanting to perform their jobs well. I am pleased with the flooring choices I made, and the installers did a good job. Unfortunately, quite a few communication issues occurred with All Surface. The issues began with the proposal going to the wrong email address. There were times I was promised a call or an update, but no follow through. I tried to be patient and understanding. Mixups happen. People are busy. The biggest issue was when my house was being measured, I mentioned I want new white baseboards in the right side of my house to match the existing baseboards in the left side of my house. The employee who measured took a picture and said we can get that. No one checked to see if they had any in stock so they didn't get ordered until the 3rd or 4th day after the job had started causing a lengthy delay. There was also an issue with the transition pieces that caused another delay. The bottom line is I was told the job would take about 5 days to complete, but it took 43. I did receive several apologies, which I appreciate, but I do not think Roy, the owner, realizes how frustrating, inconvenient and disruptive the experience was.

It turned out that the contractor had installed a variety of electrical switches and outlets at a variety of levels which all needed to be set straight before the tiling could be done. I was very glad that we had called in a true expert instead of going with the contractor for the work. Jason was terrific to work with and his work has held for over 10 years. Meanwhile, the grout and calking done by a contractor in the bathroom has been redone several times and has never looked as good or held up well.
