Not all dentists are great at what they do. Some dentists are actually bad. Dr. Brenner is a nice guy, but his dental work is sub par. My spouse had several crowns that never quite fit right, despite several return visits. A year later she saw another dentist who showed in pictures how the crowns were crap that were poorly set. And worse, to make the crap crowns fit, Dr. Brenner ground down the surrounding teeth - you could see that in the pictures. My spouse had to have all of Dr. Brenner's work replaced. I also had Dr. Brenner place crowns that have never quite fit. When I started seeing my spouse's dentist, without pointing it out that dentist independently observed Dr. Brenner's sub par work in my mouth too. My new dentist showed me how Dr. Brenner's crown was installed so it hangs over the nearby tooth, something my new dentist said is highly unusual. So that's why I can't floss between those teeth without getting shreds of floss stuck! I also had fillings from Dr. Brenner that left gaps so I am always getting g food stuck between my teeth now. That's not supposed to happen. I have since had quality fillings and that is no longer a problem. Finding a great dentist or even a good dentist is challenging. They can buy fancy advertising and get themselves on "Best of ____" lists. We put a lot of faith that dentists are good at their practice. When they are not, does it really matter if they are nice, that they have nice office staff, or that they are on The Best of Whatever list? Avoid at all costs. read more

Just moved to Seattle, looking for a dentist. I found Dr. Brenner and am completely satisfied. Cindy, the hygienist, was so thorough, meticulous, informative. After her cleaning/polishing, my teeth never felt so clean. Dr Brenner subscribes to the latest technology - he works with cerec crowns - so xrays were easily done and captured on a computer. Cindy pointed out concerns she found. She scheduled the followup routine exam. Dr Brenner walked in, introduced himself, explained what he saw in the xrays. Recommended a procedure, removing an old crown to check for decay, replacing with cerec crown. The office provided a written estimate. Also, they offer a reasonable dental coverage plan or a payment plan. read more

I really like Dr. Brenner. I have been coming here since I moved to Seattle. I was truly touch when the staff here was so willing to work with me when I lost my dental insurance. They made everything right. The hygienist are very sweet. They always ask what kind of music you like and play that during your cleaning. They are very gentle and explain everything. I've been coming to Dr. Brenner's office for around 3+ years now and I absolutely love this office. Actually, the office is clean, modern, and beautiful, but it is truly the TEAM that makes this place amazing. Dr. Brenner is not only a true professional with amazing attention to detail, but also down to earth, funny, and easy to talk with. He has calming demeanor and will go out of his way to make sure you feel comfortable and worry-free. I came in with persisting tooth pain that another dental practice couldn't resolve in over a year... Dr. Brenner found the problem right away and got rid of the pain through a series of small bite adjustments in just a few weeks! On top of that, I also had quite a bit of anxiety after my previous dental experience, and Dr. Brenner was extremely understanding and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Also, the entire staff is absolutely great (and so much fun to talk to). April at the front desk always remembers my name and is so helpful and kind. All of the dental hygienists and dental assistants are so efficient and thorough, yet super friendly and treat you like family. I have so much fun talking to these ladies! I wanted to update* my review since I recently moved to a new city and had to start the process of finding a new dentist, doctor, etc over again. It can be stressful trying to find someone you trust enough with your health and I hope that this helps anyone looking for a new dentist in Seattle! The front desk staff are all amazing, appointments are on time, cleanings are quick, and Dr. Brenner is a stellar, trustworthy dentist. As I have been looking for a new dentist here, I saw several reviews where people felt they were being pushed into treatments they didn't need. That has never been the case for me or my husband at Brenner Dental Care. The office has great technology and you are able to see pictures of your teeth on an i pad. I always have questions during my visits and Dr. Brenner is very patient and thorough answering them. I also love that the office checks your insurance before a procedure so you can understand how much it might cost. Hands down a 5 star business. I hate the dentist but finally bit the bullet and went to Dr. Brenner. I knew I had a few cavities and needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled and Dr. Brenner agreed. We made an appointment for oral surgery, which he did in his office. He took the time to talk with me and explain everything. The procedure went really well and considering all 4 were pulled, I really had little to no pain and went as smooth as could be. My initial visit with Dr. Nguyen at Brenner dental was a very smooth experience. The receptionist was polite, knew me by name, (from reviewing the appointment book ahead of time) and the wait time was minimal. Meeting Dr. Nguyen was great. She was very informative and asked the right questions that my prior dentist did not ask about my dental care. I initially came in for an x ray and an exam. But during the exam Dr. Nguyen noticed a small cavity forming and offered to have it fixed it right on the spot. Knowing this was my first cavity the process was not as bad as I envisioned and I was surprised how quick and painless it was! Overall, the experience at Brenner dental with Dr. Nguyen ensured me that this was definitely the right choice to switch to this office.
