I typically don't write reviews, but after multiple attempts over the past few years, I feel like I should share my experience. I first visited a couple of years ago to put my name down for a Rolex Submariner. I understood going in that it would likely take time, and I was completely fine with that. I left my information and expected at the very least some sort of follow-up or communication along the way. Fast forward nearly three years later, I never received a single text, call, or update of any kind. I decided to stop back in a few days ago, thinking maybe I could check in, reintroduce myself, and finally get the process moving. Honestly, that ended up being a mistake. When we walked in, not a single sales associate acknowledged us. No greeting, no eye contact, nothing. I even walked toward one associate, and she turned away and went to the back. At that point I figured I'd just be direct. I approached a man (I don't remember his name) and politely said, "Hi, I'm looking to purchase my first watch and I'd love for it to be a Rolex." Instead of any real conversation, he immediately told me to scan a QR code to fill out my information. While I was trying to ask a few questions, his responses felt short, agitated, and dismissive, like he really didn't want to talk. He barely made eye contact the entire time. A friend of mine bought a watch from this AD and mentioned that when they add you to a list, an associate usually texts you so you can communicate and stay updated. I never received anything like that the first time, and now after trying again, it felt like the same experience all over. I understand demand is high and there's a process, but customer service and basic respect shouldn't be optional. Maybe I'm younger than the typical buyer, but that doesn't mean I'm not serious or don't have the money to spend. I walked in ready to start a relationship and make a meaningful purchase, and instead felt completely brushed off. After nearly three years and two separate attempts, I'm left feeling like customers are only valued if they fit a certain image. I really wanted my first watch to come from here, but based on the lack of communication and how I was treated in-store, I'll likely be looking elsewhere. read more

This type of business should be focused on customer service and attention to details but my experience with this establishment leaves me to believe they care nothing about the customers that walk through their doors. I visited back in mid 2022 inquiring about a Rolex to commemorate the completion of my MBA. I am not a watch novice and knew this would take quite some time. My information was taken and I continued to visit the store and message with the sales associate periodically. In the past year, I kept missing the sales associate I was conversing but made a point to stop in and mention I was messaging with said associate. Fast forward to a month or so ago, I find out that associate isn't even with this store anymore and when I was in the store no one told me when I would mention I was talking to them. They had moved to another jewelry store that carries Rolex (that is another issue). Upon learning this and knowing I have been waiting for almost 2 years now the sales associate acted like it was no big deal and then further discovered this previous sales associate didn't even have my information in their "list". Again, acted like it was no big deal. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS! Instead of causing a scene, I calmly left my information, to be placed at the bottom of the list, left the store and then called and asked to speak with the manager of the store. He was good about getting back to me and swore up and down he would take care of me but that was over 6 weeks ago and I have heard nothing! No follow up about status! My suggestion to people that are serious watch collectors is to look elsewhere. Every brand carried here can be found for less with better service. And you can acquire Rolex from else where without these silly games. read more

I was in the market for a Tudor Pelagos FXD, I saw Hyde Park Jewelers had one in stock and advertised on their website for $3900 less customer loyalty of $180 for previous purchases. On Friday October 21st, 2022, I called the Scottsdale store and spoke with a female employee whose first and last initials are GG, due to Yelp policy I am unable to disclose the full name but can be found on google, who informed me "Yes" the watch is available in stock and if I wanted it, I would need to pay for it over the phone with my credit information so that she could reserve it and not sell it to other customers. I provided my credit information and authorized $4,041.78. We agreed to pick up the watch on Friday October 28th, 2022. On Saturday October 22nd, GG texted me to inform that the watch I had ask for, paid for was sold to someone else a day prior. Even thought when I called with the stock number it was available and supposedly sold me. I said OK no worries, get me another one to which she agreed and would notify me Tuesday October 25th, 2022, the following week. She did not follow up as promised so I followed up with her and asked if she had an update. She replied back "I spoke with my manager, and he informed that there may be a possibility we are receiver another FDX. (Watch is called FXD not FDX BTW) I hope to have a confirmation by Friday!" No further messages or updates from GG since Tuesday October 25th, 2022. Giving the fact that I have purchased a couple Breitling's from Hyde Park totaling over $14,000 and had intended to purchase a few more on the day I wanted to pick up the Pelagos, I believe this customer service deserves a ZERO star and GG should not be the point of contact to complete such transaction. read more

Managers attitude is terrible. I have purchased a 60,000 Rolex from them and was very satisfied. But the current manager is very abrasive and unhelpful. She has refused to take a cashier check from my bank and refused to take a verified personal check. The sales person was helpful and positive and gave me a pleasant and classy, happy experience. But bottom line, I wouldn't recommend that anybody should deal with them because of her rotten attitude. Go elsewhere. Rolex should pull this franchise. read more

I was on a difficult mission to find my wife a Christmas gift. Luckily, I met Francis (aka "Fran"), she was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I came into the store at around 8:30pm during the Holiday extended hours at Fashion Square mall. It was surprisingly busy. But Fran warmly greeted me and she assisted me go through the various options. Do I pick earrings, bracelet, necklace, diamond ring, gold accessories. I brought up the fact that I was actually on the hunt for Chanel sunglasses. Come to my surprise Hyde Park is an authorized vendor of Chanel jewelry. She showed me several pieces. And never pressured me to buy. At around 9:30pm after +60 min of going back and forth, and I was about to leave. She gave me her card, and asked if I would like to return as she could hold some of the pieces. I ended up buying a Chanel gold and Diamond pendent. And arranged for pick it up the next day, as it was 9:45pm after all the paperwork. I returned with my wife, to see if she would like the piece. Fran had wrapped it nicely, and a stuck on a perfect hand crafted decorative bow. It was almost too nice to unwrap. My wife's face was priceless when she opened the Chanel jewelry box, it was a gigantic smile and I could see her eyes light up. As I had spent well over $50K in luxury goods just last month, so I didn't have a lot of options nor was she expecting more pieces, which to some; $50K is nothing. But it was becoming more difficult for sure to pick items that matched her unique taste and get a big reaction. My wife loved the pendant, and then she also picked out a matching Chanel time piece. Hyde Park welcomes anyone, whether you have a $100 budget or a $1 million dollar budget. They also are one of the few authorized resellers of Rolex. If you have specific or discerning taste. Well folks, I never thought in the 21 years that I've purchased and supported the Breitling brand that I'd ever have to do this but here's the full version. Last year January 2023 I had noticed on my Super Avenger that the second hand had fallen off its spindle on the face and was rolling around loose behind the crystal and also that the watch hands stopped their normal scheduled rotation. Dropped off at Scottsdale location and proceeded to have the watch shipped back east for a full service and repair. They completed the full repair and picked it up in May 2023. Fast forward to January this year the SAME thing happened to the second hand and watch stopped ! Dropped it off AGAIN expecting a full warranty coverage. I get a call from Kyle (manager at Scottsdale Breitling) today saying that the service center told him there's impact damage!!! Now I'm sure that was not the case and I'm here telling you all that whoever says anything to the affect that there was impact damage that they are FLAT OUT LIARS! They are in it to shake down any $$ they can out of us consumers! I KNOW I DID NOT CAUSE ANY PHYSICAL DAMAGE ! I hope you're reading this Kyle! And I hope you change your mind as this is HORSE S*!T!!!! I've NEVER been treated this way over the last 3 Breitling's I've purchased over the years! I've had my ups and downs with Hyde Park but I will say that the current manager Brandon is absolutely outstanding. My first purchase was back in 2019 and while it was a great experience, I was given misinformation with little to no support from the management team at the time. My second purchase was on the Rolex side with Matt and and was nothing short of top notch. Fast forward about 6 months and that's when things took a turn for the worse on the customer service side with a couple of other associates at the store. Brandon caught wind of this and totally turned things around. Since then I've made a number of purchases from Hyde Park and their IWC boutique across the way. My husband & I went to HPJ to have my vintage Rolex Ladies Datejust repaired. We were absolutely blown away by the experience. Talk about 1st Class!!!! From the minute we arrived we were met by Richie and then Brandon the Mgr. Both made us feel so welcome. Our Rolex Concierge Tristen Blazevitch was outstanding. She knew ALL the answers to our questions! We were given many options and with their help we decided to proceed with the repairs. The price quoted was the price charged - no hidden fees. We picked up the watch less than a month after dropping it off. Scott spent time reviewing all aspects of the watch including setting the time and calendar etc. He is a great brand ambassador. I walked in looking specifically for a submariner and Matthew didn't tell me it was impossible but I also have been to enough stores to know my chances are small. However, he took all of my info down and told me if one comes in he would call. I did just that and as we walked out, told my husband... nah, I'll never get a call nor will they put my name in any system. And Matthew proved me wrong. I got a message the next day, thanking me for coming and leaving my info. Is that their protocol? It's rare that I go watch shopping and was at a bit of a loss for what I wanted or what I would look for. When you go to fashion square, there are so much choices to choose from. I had originally started at Breitling and made my way to IWC with no actual intent of buying anything. When Mark Scopa had approached me, I had no idea how educated or knowledgeable he would actually be. He not only introduced me to multiple styles but knew everything he presented to me. From materials, to how the watches are made and the experience the company will give you. He was able to help me find the perfect style gift, and also help me for possible future transactions. Very poor customer service, I brought my Breitling watch in to Hyde Park to request an extra link for the bracelet to be ordered. The gentleman who services watches took a look at it, verified the model and stated that he would order a link from Breitling and call me when it arrived. A couple of months later, I received a call from Hyde Park asking me if I ordered a link for a Tag Heuer watch because they received a message from them stating they do not have a link to fit the watch I have. I told him that my watch was a Breitling and the gentleman said he would contact Breitling to order and it was his mistake. This is a long overdue shout-out to both Melody and Jill. Both my uncle and myself have been frequent visitors of the new store since opening. On day one of the new store opening Melody was able to secure me my first watch -- a Tudor BB58! It's always fun to stop in and chat about watches and see all the new releases.
