Pulling into departures is easy, you can hop right out and be in the security lines which move at a decent pace. I also flew Avelo for the first time and I'm not a fan. We had about an hour delay with no communication except a sudden gate change. I'm not sure if people forget that humans are animals, I don't because they ALWAYS show it. The gate change resulted in people running which is crazy because you can see all the gates from one damn viewpoint. The gate change resulted in chaos boarding and having to stand outside in the wind and rain despite priority boarding. The flight attendant were great and accommodating! I brought my seatbelt extender just in case and unfortunately Avelo uses a different kind. They were able to accommodate me quickly. The airport is convenient I think but I'd imagine can be stressful if you're moving on a tight schedule.

I didn't leave a review or complain as much as I wanted to, as I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he was having an especially rough day. I am here to fly again several months later, and it's the same man. Not only does he refuse to speak to you, he expects everyone to know exactly what to do and in what order and is annoyed if you don't do it fast enough. I always make a point to say hello, and please and thank you and he has never acknowledged me or spoken a word to me at all. I understand it's a repetitive job, and people are probably super annoying all day. But the bare minimum of speaking one single word would make all the difference. Overall, this airport is very tiny and crowded and uncomfortable while waiting at your gate. I'm not a fan.

We had never been to Florence, Cinque Terra or Tuscany before and the thought of trying to blindly plan a trip without guidance was overwhelming. Priscila listened to our goals and planned a trip allowing us to see and enjoy Italy. Not every vacation allows you to have time to absorb the culture, but our trip was planned implementing the perfect pace. We started in Florence which is a high activity city, went next to Cinque Terra which was toned down a bit and ended in a relaxing villa in Tuscany. Every detail was carefully considered with recommendations for sights to see, restaurants, even specific meals to consider! We had just the perfect amount of scheduled activities and days of leisure to explore as we wished. Priscila secured three days with private drivers who spoke English to take us to smaller surrounding villages-STUNNING. We knew exactly where to go, which train to take, had vouchers to tours so lines were skipped, and we stayed at BEAUTIFUL locations where everyone was friendly and the food outstanding! But most ESSENTIAL was the support Priscila provided when our airline was delayed, connecting flights missed, luggage lost, and problems with the airline not issuing a boarding pass. Travel can have a large stress component, but she had our backs ALL THE WAY! We don't know what we would have done without her continued support throughout our trip. It was a trip of a lifetime and we would do it over a millions times because of the superb planning and support provided by Tour Italy Now and Priscila Siano. Mille grazies!!! Forever grateful, Anne in Atlanta, GA

I reserved a round-trip between JFK and CT, paid in advance, and gave them full flight details. Not a single update was provided. On pickup day, I called them. They said, "Our drivers are tracking your flight, you'll be picked up on time." That was not true. It's essentially a scam. They never show up when they're supposed to. They make customers wait 60-90 minutes and then falsely claim the driver was there and left. Your scheduled pickup time means absolutely nothing to them. They batch rides, so if another pickup is two hours out, you'll wait that long. If it's sooner, great - but it's all luck. Horrible service, no professionalism whatsoever.

Less than 48 hours before pickup, I was contacted and informed that due to an internal system error, they could not honor the confirmed service unless I paid over $200 extra for a private sedan. The only alternative offered was cancellation and refund. This last-minute ultimatum left me without reasonable options at 2 AM, forcing me to book an Uber urgently to avoid missing my flight. The company admitted the error was theirs but refused to provide an equivalent service at the agreed price or take responsibility for the consequences. Very stressful experience and poor handling of a confirmed booking. I would not rely on this service for time-critical travel.

I asked one of the agents at Adler Travel to help me book a trip to Madrid and Paris so that my…read moredaughter, an art student, could see the great museums. The agent did competently book flights and hotels, and I'm choosing to see that as a "glass half-full". But she needed a couple of reminders and she took a couple weeks longer than she said she would. And really, in a world where we all have TripAdvisor, I'm not sure that saved me more than 4 or 5 hours versus doing it on my own. Where I really could have used help, there was none. I was very clear about the purpose of the trip and the museums we intended to visit. Those museums are currently deluged with tourists and all now require booking time slots weeks in advance. If we had shown up without pre-booked tickets, we would have been turned away, negating the entire purpose of the trip and wasting thousands of dollars. This kind of information - learned from personal trips to the destination or previous bookings - is the real added value a travel agent should provide. Our agent provided none. Luckily for us, I learned about the need for pre-booking from Rick Steves' books before it was too late to get in. It was too late to get the time-slots we wanted, however. Some of the slots were decidedly inconvenient. A few weeks' earlier start would have been extremely helpful - a heads-up from the agent would have made a huge difference. Our agent was simply MIA after the initial bookings. She did finally respond to an email requesting help booking flights from Madrid to Paris - after I'd already booked them myself - with apologies about missing my email in her very full inbox. I had to do all of the research and booking for the museums myself, something that took many hours. Every agency has multiple agents with different levels of experience and enthusiasm for the job. Adler has a good enough local reputation that I'm sure some of the other agents are more helpful. But my experience with my agent was not great. I credit Rick Steves for a successful trip, not my agent. If I hadn't checked those books, it would have been a complete fiasco.

Luckily, John made everything beyond easy! We went in for a meeting with a few key ideas: all inclusive, on the beach, adults only. After a few more questions John quickly came up with several options. He made the process even easier by reserving everything for us, and telling us what to expect at each step of our travels. We had the BEST TIME in Mexico at El Dorado Maroma! Completely stress free vacation, exactly like we wanted :) We can not wait to go back and plan our next vacation through Adler Travel!
