Oh please don't hire them. We made the mistake hied them for our wedding and totally regretted it. After signing the agreement they did the whole bait and switch and gave me a higher amount. When I questioned why it was higher then the quote she said cause it was for a wedding and they stock it with high end champagne...that would cooks btw. It was transportation only to the ceremony not both ways. They are crooks.not to mention the driver arrived at my house only to find he forgot his wallet, so he literally had to leave and go home to get it. I have never before felt so compelled to write a review. In early December, I used this car service for a pickup at JFK and a ride to Connecticut. The driver was on time, kind, and got me to my destination safely. But... the limo was dirty. Like it had someone else's half full Dunkin Donuts cup, some candy wrappers, an empty champagne bottle, etc. Not a big deal - but when I pay $240, I don't expect to sit with someone else's trash. I didn't say anything to the driver, but called the office a couple of days later. They offered to give me a $50 credit on a future ride. I explained I would appreciate it more if it were a $50 refund on the past ride. She said she'd call me back. She did leave me a message that I would be getting a $50 credit. So I waited a few weeks but still didn't see it on my credit card. I called back and asked to speak to the original person I spoke to. I was told she would call me right back and she didn't. I called a few days later and the guy who answered the phone was eager to hear my story and help. He listened, asked me how much the credit was for, and said he'd get back to me right away. That was days ago. Honestly, the dirty limo was moderately annoying. But the getting jerked around and wasting my time on a credit that was promised but probably never going to come through - that's super annoying. They've lost my future business. read more

I used this company for a one way ride from Mohegan Sun back home to Hamden after a concert. They were on time. The driver called to confirm my location. The limo was clean and the driver pleasant. And the cost was exactly as quoted. Simple, professional service. I will definitely use them again. read more

This is probably the biggest mistake of my life to book this company for a round trip travel for seven people Nov 26 2016 . Our wonderful vacation plans for us quickly turned to a nightmare when we counted on American Executive Limo pickup in North Haven at 2 am which we were told by Keith for our 7:00am flight to Aruba. Seven of us with no sleep gathered waiting for a limo that never showed up. By 3:00 am we knew we were in trouble when there was no answer at the company after several attempts to reach the limo service. Of course we called Hy's Limo service in West Haven who couldn't believe the crisis we were in and told us to get to West Haven by 4am to guarantee us getting to Newark in time for our flight. They saved seven people and we made our flight in time and had our vacation that started out stressful but turned out wonderful. From Aruba after paying American Executive Limo over 600.00 back in August 2016 for the flights and being so upset, I tried to call every day but to no avail. No answer and no one cared obviously no calls from the limo company to me either. I have since gotten in touch with my credit card, the Better Business Bureau and Dept of Consumer Protection. This shell company owned by Jude Ahern of Ahern Properties will know my name by the time I'm done with this mess. Rated for all to know as a zero! I wanted to strangle this company. They picked me up from my home ok and on time, and delivered us to the airport. Then my return 7 days later, I was at JFK airport in NY, I live in CT and they had my reservation for a week. My plane arrived at 7AM and we waited an hour then I called the company. The answering service answered they said they would call and find out and get back to me with the results. An hour later no call, I called back I was told that no one was answering her calls. At that point in time, the answering service attempted to tell us that maybe they car was in traffic or maybe the car broke down. The answering service said they would again call the company, and call me back. No one ever called back. Now it is 10:00AM we again called but again nothing we then had to search the airport for a way to get home. We found a service that could take us home in a old van with no shocks and they had to drop off another passenger first. We ended up home at 11:35AM. We were afforded this service through a business contact. This service messed up the pick for the last 6 years, they were never on time. Last year we had four of us going to the airport and four of us coming home. We received a stretch limo to get to the airport and they sent a town car to pick us up. We had to send two home while we waited for them to hire another service and pick us up about one hour later. Unless you obtain this service for nothing, I would never hire them ever again. Not only did they lose us as a customer, the business contact throw out their contact info also.
