All right I'm tech savvy. I almost always figure out the computer problem inner office by myself…read more But when I have a problem I can't wrap my head around I call these guys. All of their tech staff are top notch. Whether they help you over the phone or send someone out it's fixed quick. They are all Renaissance men! Knowledgeable in all things computer but, not so nerdy they can't talk about other topics. If your office doesn't have in office IT support I would highly recommend CST!! If your IT guy/gal ever has an issue with anything involving computers or you'd like pricing on anything computer call them. They're the Superman of all things IT.

After being a long time client, buying a server and multiple work stations and subscribing to their…read moresystems monitoring service as well as additional services required to keep our systems running we finally and contrary to their suggestions went to a cloud based service ultimately cutting our expenses in this regard by over 50 percent. Beyond the expense we had no complaints while we were a client. That said, we still owned the computers we purchased from CST. I specifically had a problem with one unit and called CST in advance sharing that I was a past client and needed help with a unit I had purchased from them. They confirmed they could help. I drove 90 miles to deliver it to them. A tech worked on it, shared there was a hardware problem. I asked if they could transfer all the data stored onto an external hard drive. He said they could but I would have to supply the hard drive. I immediately went to a local retailer, bought a drive and returned to CST. Upon arrival I was met my another man named Cunningham. He professionally shared that since I was no longer a client they wouldn't work on the computer. I asked if he was aware I had already been in and they had already started on it. Yes he knew. I suggested that I planned to pay them immediately for any service they provided. He said it didn't matter. I asked if he knew I had just gone out to purchase an external hard drive per my earlier visit. He confirmed and said, "I know you are likely very upset but you aren't a client so we can't work on your machine." Wow. After years of being a good customer, tens of thousands of dollars spent they offer to hold the door for me as I carry my computer out having been refused service. He was kind enough to suggest Best Buy might be able to take care of the problem for me. It felt like retaliation. They wouldn't explain why they took the stance just kept saying they couldn't help me. I went back to our office and asked if there was anyway something we had done could have been offensive. Nothing. All bills had been paid in a timely fashion and frankly we spent far more with then than I recognized. As the world changes and small businesses struggle to keep up with technology service providers like this are important. In today's world there is no room for vindictive or retaliatory positions like this. Our move from CST was based on the cost savings of going to cloud bases software solutions. It proved very efficient cutting our regular service needs to less than half of what they were with CST just for basic services. No more server or server problems. No more workstation issues. Frankly we believed by using CST we and the monitoring service we would be saving money because we would have fewer problems but it seemed to make problems more obvious and generated more service bills. I always just thought this was part of doing business and didn't worry about it. I don't write reviews but after calling them in advance having explained we were a past customer, reexplaining that when I walked in, then having a third conversation to go get an external hard drive and recognizing that they were already into it for about a half hour of labor and that I was very happy to pay for any service proved only to be turned away in such a retaliatory way it quiet frankly scared me. What if you had an unexpected need and CST being the service provider who sold and maintained the system had the key to providing it but thanks to a changing world you changed services and now, when something unexpected comes up, they "can't" help you? Regardless of having spent tens or hundreds of thousands with them, they might treat you the same way. I know when I told my office manager about this today she was horrified. Sorry CST. For such a small need on my part you really caused a great deal of pain and anxiousness.
