Oh boy! One of my favorite spots to have breakfast. But today they failed. I think the Hayden Road location is better. I came back today with a gf that wanted to meet up.... I raved about the food and she was really excited. We ordered the same thing- a pumpkin spice martini that was amaze-balls. The avocado fries which are always on point. We both got the breakfast sandwich and when he brought it out he said "be careful this plate is really hot" as he slid it to her. Mine was not given a hot plate warning. I asked what sauce she got because hers was a totally different color than mine- like obviously different. She responded "old sauce". Given her singled out warning that her plate was extra hot- it was good indication hers was old and reheated. We pointed it out to our waitress and asked her just to look at mine vs hers and the waitresses response was "ohhhhhh" with a questionable face. She took it and got her a new one. But this is unacceptable. Why would you bring an old reheated sandwich to a table first of all but especially to two people who ordered the same sandwich? This is one of our favorite brunch spots as it is super reliable and tasty. They have lots of patio seating with heaters, and allow dogs which is a huge plus for me. The chicken was dry and packed flavor,it still had bacon on it, and the salad came without dressing. I had to ask for the salt, pepper, lime juice, and dressing again, and no one apologized for the experience. It's very hot outside but the misters were doing such a good job that we would have sat outside if inside was not available. Luckily it was. Comfortable chairs and room between tables. The server was not able to get a drink order right away but did acknowledge us and came with water when she could make it over. Did not take long, but the water and acknowledged made it seem even faster. Very informative on the menu. The food came out in a nice interval and was definitely warm. Very good and filling.
