Avocado Fries
Eric H.

I came for Sunday brunch and, as expected, it was packed like most weekends. The restaurant has a nice, airy atmosphere with both indoor seating and a patio option, which helps it feel open even when busy. I started with the avocado fries, which were priced at $9. I was expecting something more substantial in terms of breading and crispiness, but they ended up feeling fairly average. The sauce also did not really complement the dish, so it was not particularly memorable. For my main, I had the breakfast burrito, which was huge--definitely shareable for two people. It had good flavor and was stuffed with chorizo, scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, potatoes, black beans, tomatoes, onions, ranchero sauce, and pico de gallo. Service was understandably limited given how busy it was, so don't expect much attention during peak hours. Overall, it is a solid spot for brunch if you don't mind the crowds.

Indoor decorated ducts

Walked in around noon for breakfast--our second visit--and it did not disappoint. We were seated right away by a friendly host, which set the tone for a great experience. The vibe is super chill, with a bar area playing sports on TV, and a really nice patio option (though we chose to sit inside under the cool decorative air ducts). The menu is huge, so there's something for everyone, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our server, Jordan, who made the experience even better with great service. We'll definitely be back again.

Egg-cellent experience here BKB at Desert Ridge this morning. Gianna R. was super attentive, kept the drinks full, and made sure we were happy with our orders. We got there not too early, and we're able to get seated for four right there on the spot It was like a daytime bistro experience. The servers all worked together but the morning might and a tree on the inside gave it an indoor outdoor feeling...and they still had some outdoor seating. It was a fantastic breakfast experience.

Pistachio Mousse amazingness!

Went here with my daughter on Friday afternoon for lunch. We split the sugar-free Pistacho Mousse & Pastrami sandwich. The mousse was incredible! Full of flavor & packed with blueberries & strawberries. Sweetened with erythritol so there was no funky aftertaste. The sandwich was delicious & the egg was perfectly runny. Our server was attentive & friendly. Looking forward to returning.

A lot of hits but some misses. First the misses 1. I went with create your own omelette and selected mushrooms, sauteed spinach, and avocado. The avocado was a guacamole, which is fine. But came out with brown on it. This means it was made earlier and then left open rather than covered. The air causes it to be brown. 2. The person dropping off the food, I asked if I could get some ranchero sauce. She said yes, never saw her again. To be fair she wasn't our server who did ask if we needed anything but since I had asked other person I was concerned two items show up. 3. The sweet potato cakes have cheese in them. There is zero mention regarding that. 4. For the Farmers market scramble or omelette the veggies are precut n the morning and into a bag. Thus if you are allergic to any one of the veggies that can't remove them. I went build your own omelette to solve that, but it's hard to find due to the amount of food options, a plus, but yellow light color on build your own should be in a more visible color. The spouse had the farmer's market bowl with quinoa and goat cheese. She liked it but said it lacked some seasoning and the sauce they put on it, isn't enough. My egg white omelette which they charge an extra $1 for the egg white, nice mark up, had the greenish brown avocado guacamole. I should add the menu says avocado not guacamole, but whatever. I had mushrooms, spinach and said avocado surprise. Asked for pico de gallo. Delivered I wish they offered a tofu scramble or vegan chorizo or impossible vegan sausage patty as options for folks who do not eat meat. The BKA potatoes were great. Light. The spouse got the pumpkin latte and had almond milk instead of regular milk. She got changed $2 for the switch. This shouldn't be a fee. It's bad business practice, especially in current economic conditions where you can buy almond milk for $5 at the grocery store. Fairly confident they can get a better deal. Fresh OJ is good I recommend. Good serving size, we had leftovers.

I absolutely love this place! The service is always great, and the ambiance is always fun and friendly. I love the tree in the middle of the restaurant, and the tvs are always playing a good game or if your into it, the news. But why I come here is for the Salmon Bowl! This bowl is literally 10/10 and with the balsamic glaze, it's soooo good! I normally sit at the bar but the tables have good service too! I highly recommend their mimosas, always a good time

Our server, Kallina is amazing and earned this review's 5 stars. Her recommendations were delicious and honesty very appreciated. The hostess sat us at a dirty table but I'm glad I had wet wipes and tissue. She placed the utensils on the table on which a used cup was sitting. She removed the cup. We sat at the other table which we didn't notice hadn't been wiped until we sat down and she was gone. On to the meal. It was our first time here. Everything looked good. Kallina provided good suggestions and details about items we were considering. I chose the BLACKENED SALMON QUINOA SPINACH BOWL with blackened chicken in place of the salmon with ranch dressing on the side. It was simply delicious and, though it looked like a small portion when placed on the table, it was quite filling. My friend ordered the CHICKEN AVOCADO SALAD without cilantro. Our meals were appetizing. We'll have to make it for breakfast next time. The "cookie" caught my eye but it was actually a HOMEMADE GRANOLA PROTEIN BAR. It was an afternoon snack and tasty. The restroom is clean and neat. It's different seeing the cleaning supplies out but that means they are handy and no one has to go far to get them. This was a decent first visit. We searched Yelp for a restaurant near us and, after calling, we got on the waiting list. When we arrived we asked to be seated inside. That wait wasn't too long. Glad to have come across BKB.

Dirty Breve Chai, Iced Tea, Almond Croissant French Toast, side of egg, sausage, and hash browns.

We enjoyed the Almond Croissant French Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes, Dirty Breve Chai, and the iced tea. Definitely add yourself to the waitlist! They are packed every morning. Sundays are insane, Fridays are better.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the air conditioning worked great. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional, but Lucinda, Jennifer, and Sidney really stood out. Lucinda noticed my daughter and me trying to find our room. The resort is huge, and the buildings are not very clearly marked, so we were looking a little lost. She stopped the golf cart she was driving by and offered to help us find our way. She could have easily driven past without stopping, but instead, she took the time to assist us. Her thoughtfulness and excellent customer service made a great first impression! Later, while we were enjoying drinks and dinner by the pool, Jennifer and Sidney were incredibly friendly, efficient, and attentive. They were excellent representatives of the Hilton brand and made our poolside experience even more enjoyable. The reason I am giving the resort four stars instead of five is the $39.95 daily resort fee. When booking, I did not see this fee clearly disclosed, and I found it excessive. The room rates are already substantial, and I believe amenities such as the pools, gym, and grounds should be part of the overall cost of staying at the resort. Unexpected daily fees like this are a major turnoff for me when choosing accommodations. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and the outstanding employees made it even better. However, the excessive resort fee is disappointing and would make me think twice about booking again.

Decent hotel/resort in the Phoenix area. Came here for a wedding, and the views and the facilities…read moreare great for a medium to larger party. Plenty of decently developed rooms that are modern enough, especially for a busy wedding weekend. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean and updated, and prices are fair if you're booking early enough in advance. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking can be OK depending on where you're located in the resort - there are definitely some narrow spots that make it harder to get to and from your room easily. Plenty of large pools and spa space to hang out and relax w/ friends/family. They do charge an annoying resort fee as an add-on for all of the "amenities". Easy access to local and attached golf courses, if that's your thing.

Luci's at the Orchard is easily one of my favorite places in the Valley! The juices and smoothies…read moreare absolutely delicious, the food never disappoints, and the atmosphere has to be one of the best around. One thing I really appreciate is how convenient they make everything. From the water dispensers to the utensils, condiments, and even to-go boxes, everything is set out and easy to grab. I also love the counter-style ordering because the food always comes out quickly, while you can still sit down and enjoy the space without feeling rushed. The outdoor seating is probably my favorite part. The entire property has such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere and feels like somewhere you actually want to spend time rather than just grab a meal and leave. There are also so many unique gifts to browse while you're there, which makes the whole experience even better. Between Luci's, the ice cream parlor, the tavern, the shops, and all of the outdoor space, there's so much in one place. It's also a great setup for events or getting a group together. Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and so much to do. Definitely one of those places I'm always happy to come back to!

CHILAQUILES UNFORTUNATELY WERE A MISS!…read more I will preface this by saying everything else was very good, so I will come again and update my review at that time. I came here for a breakfast date with a friend. They have a decent size parking lot. Upon entering, there is a great outdoor space with tons of tables, many with shade. Your order at a counter inside. I got Chilaquiles and a matcha, and my friend got a burger. Unfortunately my chilaquiles were the worse I've ever had! It seemed like store bought chips with sauce thrown on top, not fried in sauce at all. And the menu describes it as having pulled pork but these were chunks of meat. The provolone on top was a slice melted, no shredded cheese. It just didn't hit. My Mexican friend said the sauce wasn't very good either, I thought it was okay. I didn't even eat half of my meal. I will say, his burger was very delicious. Super juicy, and fries were cooked well. I thoroughly enjoyed my matcha as well. The chilaquiles were just so bad that I can't give a higher rating at this time. Since the burger was so good, I'd love to see what the other dishes taste like.
