Disappointed. Purchased their plain sour dough bread during the Hiawatha Farmer's Market last Sunday. Bread was wrapped in bag still warm, so it was sweating. Unpack as soon as I was home 10 minutes later. While it is light and airy, it is flavorless. So SOFT, it's hard to cut. While I can appreciate the wholesome ingredients (and effort), I am not ready to pay $6 for 1/2 of loaf when ALDI has a very similar clean ingredient bread during their occasional special sale item promotions. read more

We stopped in today and found the girls hard at work making fresh sourdough bread. We decided to wait a few minutes while the bread was in the oven and had to try their cinnamon roll, and it was amazing! Got some rosemary garlic sourdough bread. Delicious. It was fresh out of the oven so we took a stroll around NewBo City Market. They put the bread in a paper bread bag. Had to resist some of the sweet creations. read more

Oh my God, you're gonna need a seatbelt after you taste their bread fabulous in their pastries. You'll think you're on your way to Paris France to sit at a café and enjoy the ambience of being in another world. I bought several things from the young ladies there they're coconut bar oh Lordy Lordy Lordy I had a tighten my seatbelt. I thought I was gonna lose it. The flavors took me to a higher level than the plane. And their bread, yummy yummy yummy yummy I can't keep saying yummy enough. I had their jalapeño bread to die for. It's wonderful to find somebody that knows how to bake. Their pastries are to die for and they bread the jalapeño bread I mixed it with turkey, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato and a little bit of ham. I haven't had a sandwich like that in years. I've had the turkey, the ham, the lettuce, the tomatoes, but the bread that was the icing on the cake was it I was having a birthday. I'm on my way down to how do you spell NEWBO to get a couple of of bread they were closed on Monday and Tuesday so I've just been able to dream about purchasing some more of their beautiful loaves. It's Wednesday. Yay and I'm here purchasing a couple more. I think I have a pallet that is acquired only the finest to touch it. I would say treat yourself and enjoy a memory that will last a long time. Who needs Paris when you have the real Bread and Butter. read more
