Egg and cheese sandwich with turkey sausage (on Kaiser)
    Anastasia R.

The line moved fairly quickly and food came out fast. The food gave continental breakfast vibes but obviously you have to pay for it, and as others have mentioned it's not cheap. The bagel is DIY. You get to go Philadelphia cream cheese to spread yourself and unfortunately my toasted bagel was somehow cold. Bread and butter is conveniently located and probably a good stop for on the go. It appears their late night menu might be worth a stop but I'd skip a breakfast visit.

Carrot cake dry AF!! Monte cristo too soft and a bit greasy. Pressed Cuban was great however. Only picked this place because there was nothing open when I visited during the times last year.

The online order I placed was never served. I placed the order around 6:12 am, May 5, Friday. Went down from my room, around 6:47 am confident that food will be ready I went to the far left side (facing the cashier counter) where online pick up orders are served. I said good morning to greet the usual cashier (if u frequent the place you know who I am referring to as she is the usual cashier). I said I come to pick and tells me I have to wait, and order is not ready. Sensing something was wrong, i went to her at the cashier and she said again i need to wait She never asked me what my order is, and I said my order was placed 45 MINUTES AGO. Realizing that shew was mistaken to tell me to wait she finally woke up! Asked me what my order was?!?!?!? I said have this order, showing my phone, with order confirmation, message thanking for the order placed. Obviously they sis not process my order, and I am no longer willing to wait another 20 minutes probably if they were to serve my confirmed order. So i demanded a refund So comes the Manager, Alicia P, and said I can't get a refund because maybe the order dis not go through. Isais it sis, bec I have my confirmation order. Manager said she will ill investigate, gots my number, and will inform us after investigating. Worse became worst, because we never got a message or a call, no refund. That's customer service by bread and Butter. No wonder they never processed and served my order since the staff, cashier up to the manager are ill equipped to do proper "customer service" Event: Borgata AC, NJ on May 5,2023

Me stressed drinking my latte haha

I had such an interesting experience here last night. Me and my friend were starving around 2:30 AM & decided to go down to this place since it was open 24/7. Once we got there, the regular line was so long & moving slow - but there was a sign to mobile order which we ended up doing! We ordered a bacon egg & cheese, ham egg & cheese, latte & some water bottles! The place was very unorganized all together & the workers looked stressed / running around! We waited about 45 minutes for our food & a lot of customers were getting antsy! Thankfully we did not want to cause any more stress & understood the chaos; however did not enjoy being told there was no water left after we got our order! We waited some time for the charge to get voided & ended up carrying our food to our room to eat! The food itself was pretty good; however the trouble we went through to get the food was the reasoning behind 3 stars! Maybe more staff would help out this situation to prevent further chaos!

Lucky cookie from Bread & Butter.

Bread & Butter has become our go-to breakfast stop whenever we're staying at the Borgata. Don't get me wrong, we love the buffet as well, but when we're in a hurry and want something quick, this is the spot. My favorite here is the oatmeal. For $5, you get a huge soup container of it! I like that it comes in this container, because you can always save what you don't finish for later. The oatmeal also comes with two little side containers of nuts and raisins. My husband and I also highly recommend the chocolate croissants and the lucky cookies. The lucky cookies are $3 and they're a nice size where you can share them. They're full of chocolate chunks and coconut bits and perfected with a nice vanilla glaze. There are seats here if you do want to sit down and enjoy your breakfast or you can have it taken to go. It does get a little crowded depending what time you come in the morning.

egg pork roll and cheese on croissant - pretty good!

Seriously... never waited for anything and constantly asked if we needed anything. Such a treat! You can tell that they pour their hearts into this! Just a lovely experience. Now, the food! Welp, this is it. The pancakes are wonderful and thin. You can get them stuffed with various things. Just the perfect crunch and taste. No battery thick middle! Get these! Also got eggs, fried bologna (highly recommend), scrapple, and delicious Turkey sausage. There wasn't one thing that wasn't good. No notes. The coffee is superior as well. Even asked for a cup to go. Just delicious. This place is a whole package. Go out of your way to get here!! You will NOT be disappointed!!! The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity. We finally tried the Borgata Buffet and honestly I do not understand some of the bad reviews…read more Yes it is a casino buffet so the price is higher at around 43 per person, but there are definitely ways to get it comped or discounted, and for the quality you are getting it actually feels worth it. The variety is great and everything we tried tasted fresh and well made. Nothing felt like it had been sitting too long and the staff was constantly maintaining the stations. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and very attentive without being overbearing. The staff working the buffet line were also all really nice and genuinely seemed happy to be there which makes such a difference. Food wise there were a lot of standouts. The chargrilled steak had a really nice flavor and the prime rib was super tender and juicy. The pastas were cooked perfectly and the sauces were light, bright, and flavorful instead of heavy. The mac and cheese is an absolute must. They use big shell noodles with a creamy cheese sauce and toasted breadcrumbs on top which gives it great texture. The collard greens were surprisingly one of our favorite things and we went back for seconds. So much flavor. The spiced shrimp is a hidden gem and definitely something we grabbed multiple times. The pizza was also surprisingly good. We tried the mushroom and spinach and it honestly tasted like something you would get from a really solid pizza spot not a buffet. The only thing I would say is the chicken parm is hit or miss depending on how fresh it is. If it has been sitting it can get a little soggy so I would try to grab it when a fresh tray comes out. Pro tip leave room for dessert. The dessert section is incredible. The gelato was rich and creamy especially the chocolate. The croissant cinnamon roll hybrid was flaky on the outside with a soft gooey center and the cookies and cream cheesecake was rich without being too heavy. I also really liked how the seating is set up. You can sit on either side of the buffet and choose between booths or tables which makes it feel a little less chaotic. This is definitely a spot we will keep coming back to when we are at Borgata.

The parking lot fits about 8 cars and is tiny but it's better than nothing. We didn't have to wait long. They have a small bar area as well about 20 tables throughout the establishment. They have one of the cleanest old bathrooms I've ever been in. Our waitress was really nice and was quick to take our orders. I ordered the French toast platter which came with eggs, home fries and bacon for me. The eggs were real eggs which was a plus. The bacon was good as well. The potatoes needed some seasoning, as well as salt and pepper. They were lacking big time. Overall my meal was good. The French toast could have been bigger but for the price I get it. My wife ordered the Banana Foster French Toast which comes with a lot of bananas. Overall she liked it though. My daughter had the Meatlovers sandwich on a croissant.
