Most were riding popsicle boards but I had a 10x31 Hammerhead Hosoi - that's how I rolled. Now I have to wear a helmet and full pads stay out of the hospital. Its a great park to carve but its dirty and has trash. The north east area where the park is seems deserted and there was a homeless guy on the grass. Later he let out a scream as he changed his clothes. Early morning is not a good time probably safer later in the day with more skaters around.

I have been a couple times and it's not a bad spot to skate. It is toned down as you have a couple boxes and a rail, a weird mesa ramp that really doesn't serve many purposes. Boxes slide fine, rail is sturdy and slides well. Again not much variety but for the average skater, it will get the job done for an hour or two. Check it out and enjoy. Cons: - Bad layout: A pyramid in the center of the park is cool, but encourages boards to shoot out in potentially four or more different directions to any other part of the park. You constantly have to watch out for boards rolling in any direction. - Bad layout (again): The setup is potentially decent for a long single run if the park were not crowded, but is not conducive to accommodating multiple sessions (different parts of the park that kids can wait in line and take turns hitting one at a time). Instead there are kids standing everywhere and/or crossing paths with other sessions. There is little to no "flow" and you constantly have to watch out for others. - Too many kids on Razor scooters and/or bicycles! - No lights. The park closes at dusk.

This was a nice little park we decided to visit on the whim. It seemed to be well-maintained and…read morehad several slides! We went around 5:30 on a weekday and it wasn't too crowded, probably about 4 other kids there. Like I said, I really liked how many slides there were-- in the small kid area there were 4 (one being a double slide, so 5) and the bigger kid side had 2 taller slides. My kid had fun playing on both sides. They also have swings and a cool little gyro-spinning thing for the kids. We did visit the bathroom while there and it was pretty no frills, but several rolls of toilet paper and some hand soap outside, so that was a plus. This park also has a little grassy patch that people were playing frisbees in and possibly disc golf. All in all, this park was very nice!
