There's sand under the main play areas and something called a finger park which I assume is for like finger skateboards. It's still a small playground park but it's nice for a little get away. Lots of climbing elements. There's a few parking spots at the top of the stairway and then there are other spots in the surrounding community.

Found this Park to play pickleball and enjoyed the courts, environment and people. They have four…read morecourts and lighting in evening/nighttime. For the three occasions I've been here, I've only come in the morning. The wait time for the courts wasn't too bad, honestly it's the perfect amount of time to rest. I usually sit on the ground but you can totally bring chairs and line it up on the fence away from the courts. Queue up your paddle in the paddle holders near the court too. Overall the people here were really friendly and I would come back in the future. For parking, there's a small lot or you can park residential. They have porta potties on the left side of the courts in the parking lot which is convenient. I would say this is the best pickleball court to go to in the Brea/Fullerton and Placentia area.

There is plenty of shade and room to bring your lawn chairs and blankets. There is a play center for the kids, and plenty of parking. There is also a little liquor store across the way if you want some drinks/ snacks.

Small but functional local playground. Ford park has regular swings, baby swings, a nice spiral slide, and some unique climbing options. It's great for letting the kiddos run off some steam after a nice lunch in Downtown Fullerton. It's a wood chip base "floor" and has plenty of shade from the trees. It's also right next to a baseball/soccer field so there's green area to run or fly a kite, or whatever. There are frequently homeless people hanging out in the parking lot, but they're far enough away that it doesn't make me uncomfortable as a mom with littles. No bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Come on out!

Real…read moregrass can get a little muddy and dirty, but artificial grass can sometimes hold onto the smell, so it's definitely a Catch-22. Either way, my dog loves it, and that's what matters! There are also so many great activities for families. I love walking around while my daughter plays on the sand volleyball court, and she and her friends have had several fun hangouts here. It's just an all-around great location and a wonderful community park. Thank you to the City of La Habra for giving our families such a great space. And definitely come see one of the concerts in the park--they are amazing!

The…read morepark is clean, well maintained, and has a nice walking path, open green space, courts, and areas for families and dogs. It can definitely get pretty crowded during busy hours and weekends, but overall it's still a pleasant place to spend some time outdoors. I especially like coming here for an evening walk when the weather is nice. It's a great addition to La Habra and you can tell the city put a lot into renovating the space. Just be prepared for limited shade and bigger crowds depending on the time of day.

The tiny lot is sometimes closed in the late afternoon so you'd just have to park on the residential streets. But other than that, the park is easy to access.

Tucked off Hartford Ave, it's not huge, not flashy -- but it's beautiful. These days it's more of a birdwatcher's haven, with plenty of trees and green space to just breathe and get away from the city noise. It used to have more: barbecues, bathrooms, the kind of amenities that made it a full-on family spot. But over the years, the facilities got shut down because of heavy use by the homeless community. What's left is simpler, but still lovely. I come here on weekends because we use the park for martial arts practice -- and it's perfect for that. Wide open space, fresh air, and just enough quiet to train without distractions. The park attracts birdwatchers now too, and it's easy to see why: it's calm, it's green, and if you look up you'll probably spot something feathered flying by. Not everything survives gentrification -- except the birds. Gilman Park may have lost some of its original features, but it's still a beautiful, open space to relax, train, or just watch the world go by. If you want family cookouts, look elsewhere. If you want peace, fresh air, and a place to practice martial arts or watch birds, this is your spot.
