Had this company come out and repair my AC unit which is quite old. I know who needs AC in winter right? Had a couple days where I was fighting off a bug and was running a high fever so I tried to cool off. Sadly the motor to my condenser burned out. The technician (Tony and apprentice) came out and diagnosed a bad motor. Tony same back out couple of days later and replaced the motor. Showed me the motor was running good and pointed out the previous company from 3 years ago had installed incorrect after market motor which was Mickey moused into place with electrical tape to secure the motor. Also the incorrect motor was rated for the wrong RPMs so it was bound to fail. Tony wired it up, ram the wires along the frame without any electrical tape and installed a new capacitor. Really professional work and this guy took pride in his workmanship. I really recommend this company. They called to schedule appointment, called to let me know when they were n their way. Overall excellent service and quite friendly. I would definitely use them again. read more

We contacted this company in late July in hopes of getting our A/C unit serviced. My husband called and was told that someone will contact us within the hour. The hour passed & nobody called so my husband calls again. He was told that they had his number wrong. So he gives the lady his phone number. We waited two hours and no one called back. My husband called the office again and was told (again) that someone will call us back. Nobody called us back. They lost a potential customer. Very unreliable company. After reaching out to so many plumbing and water heater companies and all of them assuming it'd be a small job and rejecting my request right off the bat, Fronz (I hope I spelled his name right) reached out and said,"We can totally get that taken care of for you. We'll get someone out this morning to check it out." An hour later, I got a phone call from the technician, Robert, stating he was at my property and scoping out my water heater. He took pictures to show me the problem. Then to make sure I wouldn't need to spend more than necessary, he called the manufacturer and took care of all the warranty related issues for me and I was able to replace my entire unit paying on labor and service fees. I sent in a message last night, I got a phone call this morning, and had a brand new water heater replaced and install by 1pm same day. I couldn't ask for faster and friendlier service! If all goes well, I'll be using them for all my water heater problems! :) read more

Micheal doesn't have very good customer service skills. I called the company for a leaky faucet. The first time they came i had an appointment time 10-12pm yet i got a call before that time wAking me up and asking to come earlier. The wasn't fixed that day. The plumber just tightened it which didn't solve anything. I called again the same day and they couldn't come back until Monday. I gave the company the hours that someone would be home and i received another call to come earlier while I was at work. All i did was asked Michael to break down the charges which would mean what the charge was to replace the faucet and parts cost which was 270. - 90.00 I originally paid the first. If it were broken down correctly on the bill, there wouldn't be any question about anything and therefore no need to call to inquire. Micheal's defensive attitude was as if I was accusing him of something and the rudeness because I called to inquire was even worse. The phone call only took a minute of his time. It wasn't my intent to bother him after he got off. Thank u Franz for addressing my concerns. I really appreciate that. read more

Sam and Paul came out and looked at my AC, they let me know that there was some work that needed to be done. He offered me a couple options but we went with fixing the compressor. They came out that week and of course it was going to be the hottest week and they were there until about 8 pm fixing my unit! Our air conditioner stopped working, completely shut down - terrible timing given the heat wave we are experiencing with outside temps at 100 degrees. I tried everything to get it working again but no success. I called Brea/Orange County Plumbing to come over and see why and what would be needed to get it working. Tony the technician checked everything and got the air conditioner up and running in relatively short time. I had an emergency leak on my kitchen floor where water was seeping through my wooden tiles. I called multiple places and they either didn't pick up or called me to tell me that they're busy and can't do anything until the morning. When I called Brea Orange County Plumbing, the technician, Jesse, called me back right away and didn't even hesitate to try and help me find the source of the problem. Jesse helped me find the source, told me what I can do to prevent a semi-flood, who to contact, and gave me more advice than I expected. He was knowledgeable and wasn't annoyed at all when I asked many questions. We really love Brea/Orange County Plumbing. We used them a few years ago and when we had a problem in our new house we forgot them and used someone else. Big mistake! Their prices were really high so my husband remembered that we really liked these guys a few years back and dug through all his paperwork. We called and got Robert and the fee was much cheaper and made a lot more sense. So yesterday when our wall started pouring out water we called them immediately. They came out within the hour (it was going to be a few hours at first but they called us back and came earlier!) and fixed the problem for cheaper than they first quoted. A few hours later when our sink stopped working, we called them back and they called after hours and came over at 7:30am the next morning to fix the problem. (Water was shut off and created air bubbles and the fixture needed to be washed out.) Whew! Really happy with these guys! They rock! read more

Tony and Daniel did a phenomenal job. Our central air conditioner quit. Tony's troubleshooting sourced the problem very quickly and remedied the situation. He did not just finish his work and jet--he double checked everything and made completely sure that every aspect of the system worked perfectly. Their response was quick and communication was excellent--called when they were on the way--emailed that Tony would be arriving between a certain timeframe and they kept to it. Robert and Noah were totally professional, and Robert even suggested different ways to hook up the water softener that we wanted installed (which was secondary to the draining of the water tank that I had requested, thanks to the calcium build-up from the hard water here in Brea!). I called this outfit at 10am this morning on a Saturday (Christmas Eve) for a backed-up toilet. By noon the job was already done! Half the plumbing/rooting companies I called didn't even pick up the phone today due to the holiday so I was very pleased when I spoke with the friendly gentleman on the phone. Freddy who came out to the house was great and knew what he was doing. We chatted a bit and I learned a few things from him about plumbing which was fun. I have used this company for two separate air conditioning units and both times I was disappointed. Both units needed additional repairs after the "fix". Used them again today for my shower valve repair, what great service! Robert arrived on time and with shoe covers. After taking a look at it he know exactly what was wrong, he said my Moen shower valve needed a new cartridge and for $165.00 he could repair it. One for my home where I needed my air ducts cleaned and the second for my place of business where I existing A\C and possibly replaced because it has not ran in over five years. The receptionist then told me it would not be a free estimate rather there would be a Charge for an inspection. Tony came out to evaluate our older wall furnace that hadn't been used for at least 13 years. He cleaned the filter, worked on it for a bit, even put in a new thermostat. It fired right up and he had all the vents open for a while to clear them out. He was friendly, professional and just a stand up guy. We'll definitely use this company again. So glad I decided not to tackle that shower valve myself. It was fifty years old and did not look too easy to remove once I looked at it. Erik was unable to get the parts to repair it. He had a 'functional" fix which he was not going to charge me for, so I could seek other bids on replacing everything behind the tile. I decided to just have them do it, once he gave me a verbal ballpark on what it was going to cost. They cut the drywall behind from inside a closet and replaced my ancient fixture. It was an easy patch of the drywall after they left me with a new functional shower handle and nary a scratch upon the tile. I was pleased. read more

I called these folks at 9:30 today (7/25/16). A technician was out by 12pm and found it was only a capacitor. The Technician, Sam was professional, quick and efficient.
