There's so much good to say about this grooming location and the owner Paul. I've been bringing Wilbur since he was a puppy. Paul has been so kind each visit with so much knowledge about what the dogs go through with each visit. Not all dogs love the groomer, Wilbur has on and off days and Paul has been very clear and understanding on all his visits. I can't thank Paul enough for the patience and knowledge he gives me as a pet owner. He always leaves Wilber looking handsome. Thank you Paul!! read more

Found this place on Yelp and chose based on location and decent reviews. I booked a day or two beforehand. I arrived and was greeted by a very friendly and kind man, who I am guessing is the owner. He was very gentle and sweet towards my two tiny dogs. He took his time in explaining to me the entire process, strongly emphasizing not to stress the pups out. He informed me that if the dogs were under any unnecessary stress, he would pause treatment, which I appreciated. He asked for very specific styles that I was looking for and I told him I trusted his judgement! He quoted $55 per dog (I only have 5lb dogs) and he explained that the quote is based on the current grooming state of the dog, not by weight. Received a call about 3 hours later and we are very happy with his work! Would definitely recommend to friends especially based on the wonderful customer service. Everyone is happy! Molly Dolly had her quarantine hairstyle coming in...it was bad, no groomer in months. Coming out she was so happy with her puppy play time on the floor. They even kept her long eyelashes and added an adorable neck bow which will last longer than hairbows. 100% happy! read more

Hi! First time at this groomers, had a wonderful experience. My dog isn't the fondest of being groomed but she was loving her new look! The guy who works there did a bath and de shedding as well as a trim. He also trimmed her nails, cleaned her anal glands and even brushed her teeth. Service is great, response time is fast and they are friendly as well. I would definitely come back! read more

I came here with my mom to get both of our dogs (tofu and sam) groomed. The owners were super nice and helpful and our dogs were very comfortable with the environment. We got tofu and sam back after about 3.5 hours and were very satisfied with how they looked! You should definitely come here if your dog needs to be groomed! read more

We have been to this groomer twice. First visit was great. Second visit not so great.

First time I took my dog there 2 wks ago. I went back 3hours later to pick her up, this owner guys said "your dos is MRNTALLY UNSTABLE, so I could not do it well". Are you kidding me?? Never heard of such comment from anywhere. Is that a comment you could say as a shop owner?? To a first time visiting dog?? OMG. read more

When I saw a new grooming shop open close to my work, I couldn't wait to give them a try. I am so pleased with how my dogs look that I will definitely be back. The teddy bear cut on my shih poo is very cute and not overly trimmed. Great attention to detail with bows on the girl and a neckerchief on the boy. (It always irked me that my last place did the same neckerchief for both my dogs) The pricing is very good and they were super friendly. But more importantly you could tell their love of animals because the dogs were happy. read more

Close to where my mom lives, we were happy to find this groomers that's only 5min away! She took in one of our Maltese and her first visit was only $25! What a bargain! We like to give them a short summer cut every 2 month. No lavish crazy hair style since that requires high maintenance. Who has time to brush and braid your dogs hair every morning? We keep it short and clean. The shop itself is very open and you're able to see the dogs getting groomed out in the front. I like the open concept for any grooming places because I'm able to see and request any changes to my dogs cut. The owners are friendly and does a great job. My dogs seem happy after they come back from the shop. The convenience and good pricing compared to Pasadena is why we bring our dogs here! We can visit my mom and save money! I saw a lot of small fluffy dogs as well as golden retrievers. Take a look at my dogs! Clean finish to their summer cut! read more

Left in a huff, slamming the gate closed behind me....never to return again... Second groomer that I've been through this with and it's unfortunate I can't find a groomer running the business the way it's meant to where price doesn't change on a poor opinion or ridiculous whim. Been going to Brea grooming for well over a year, if not longer. Two small pups less than 15 pounds that have the gentlest hearts in doggy nation. Called in to schedule, brought my own shampoo for one of my pups with skin allergies. Prices started out around $90 for the both of them and over time, price went up to $100. Today, I schedule both of them for noon and ask what the price might be as funds are tight for me at this time. I was informed I would be told the price after they are done which I went along with to be the kind, 'easily taken advantage of' customer that I am....When I called in at 3pm to check on them, I was told they would be ready in a half hour and the price would be $110. Granted, he put more time into the work and they look amazing but I wasn't requesting the luxury groom by any means. I let the owner know of my discontent while signing the credit card slip and his reaction was not one of concern at all. Moving on.....anger gone.....thanks for caring to listen Yelp. :) read more

They made me pick my dog up because she pooped. She was new here and nervous. They charged $40 for a bath without trimming her nails. They told me next time make sure she's pooped. Nope! I found a great groomer 5 minutes away who doesn't have an issue with dog poop read more

This was my first one coming here. I love how they make time for you pets even last minute! I called yesterday and got an appointment for the next morning. Owner was so kind and welcoming. The process was very fast compared to other places I've been to which was amazing! The staff focused on everything I asked for on my dog. Definitely recommend giving it a try. read more

I've been taking my 3 pups to this groomers for years now so this is a very long overdue review! They are so easy to make day-of appointments and always do a great job in grooming and trimming my 3 crazy dogs so perfectly! They are fair priced and very flexible in scheduling! Recently, they also were so patient when I couldn't pick up the dogs for an extra 1.5hrs after they initially called me. I've moved out of brea since last year but have still kept taking the dogs to this groomers specifically because I have such good rapport with this groomer and they know the exact cut I like for the pups (they don't look like rats!haha just a perfect short trimmed-cut every time!:) ) see the pics for evidence! :) read more

Well, we made the mistake of ignoring reviews because we live close to here now. We used to go to a wonderful place when we lived in Whittier (my parents took dogs there since 1980!). We moved to La Habra, and the other place is just too far. We started going to Petco, but now they moved, so we decided to try this place. First off, they did a great job on the shampoo. We normally do it ourselves, but it's too cold. During the summer, we get my big dog (over 100 lbs) a bath and my smaller dog (35lbs) a clip and bath. At both the small place in Whittier and Petco, we have only paid $100 for two dogs bathed and one clipped. We called ahead and the guy said he had to see them to price them. We left them to get a bath and I called when we got back home. No prices are posted by the way. Anyway, guy quotes me $45 on the phone, which sounds fair. We dropped them off at 1pm, and the place closes at 5pm. At 4:45 I still didn't get a call, so I called them. Guy called me back with the dogs ready at 6pm! Like I said, dogs were happy, clean, etc. However, I had the guy $50 and telling him to keep the change and he states it's $110!!! For a bath?!?! My husband was very angry, I was frustrated, but we took the dogs home and got the rest of the money. How do these people run a business like this?!? They don't speak English too clearly (which I'm not at all complaining about) , but if there are issues in understanding and whatnot, especially if there is a language barrier...post your prices!!! read more

My first time here after reading the great Yelp reviews, especially about recent management change - SO happy I found because I have now found my favorite and go-to groomer! The owner and groomers are incredibly nice, professional and SKILLED. Pricing is great and they are great about accommodating schedules, even same day! If you are reading this and on the fence, please try them out - you will not regret it! Can't sing enough praises about this team and place. read more

Took my Husky to be groomed last week. The place is under new management. Things have gotten even better. The manager was very nice and very accommodating! I called on Saturday morning for a same day appointment and he allowed me to bring my dog right in. They did a great job. My dog was so clean and soft. They did an amazing job brushing out all the loose fur huskys tend to get. I will continue to bring my dog back here in the future. read more

Very east to make appointment. Very friendly. Definitely recommend them for grooming.

Yknow, it's not in my character to bash a small business, but I will never return, and if you're thinking about bringing your pet here you should definitely reconsider. I came by to get my dog's nails trimmed, and as I walked in the owner was bleeding due to being bitten by the previous client. I asked if he was ok and he said he was fine although seemed a bit shaken up. Now, my Gypsy doesn't like her nails being trimmed (what dog does?), so I anticipated some squirming and general discomfort. The groomer totally manhandled her and was unnecessarily rough with her. I couldn't believe how he held her, and I watched in horror as he scolded her when she moved, and his all around harsh demeanor with her. She yelped in pain and looked visibly uncomfortable. I almost stopped him twice, but didn't because he kept saying "last one last one!!!" over and over again. He kept flicking her nose with his finger too to get her to look away and it was pissing her off! I can see why he had just gotten bitten! The place smelled like urine, was totally unprofessional, and I would never recommend anyone bring their dog here. My poor girl was looking over at me like mom please help me this man is hurting me! I feel like the worst dog mom in the world. Her nails are jagged and still completely long. I'm not even mad about the money I spent, I'm pissed I put my poor girl through this. STAY AWAY. This groomer has no heart for animals and I don't know what the hell the 5 star reviews are for. read more

Today I took my dog to get groomed here for the first time. I specifically told them to not cut that short. I thought we had a clear understanding, but when I got my dog back, he almost had no hair. His ears and the other parts of his body were very pink. When he would normally scratch his ears with his paws, he started to whine :( And there are red marks here and there where it looks like it bled from too much cutting. On top of that, our understanding of the price was 35 dollars but they wanted to raise it up to 50-60 dollars! However, he gets really stressed out when it comes to other people but I assure that he is a very nice dog. He is clean but I am never going back here again. read more
