    Picanha lomo saltado
    Anmol R.

I have been to the Brazuca food truck countless times. I love Brazilian BBQ so I had to try this spot and I have been hooked since the first time. I usually get the picanha lomo saltado. Their picanha is always juicy and tender with the right amount of fat. The fries are well cooked and i love the addition of the tangy biquinho peppers. This time I also got the quesadilla which was bomb. It's surprisingly not heavy and the Catupiry (Brazilian cheese spread) is so cheesy and yummy, a bit like cream cheese. Highly recommend this spot!

I lived in this neighborhood for a while and only tried it today. The Picanha steak + rice was very tasty. The meat was flavorful and not dry. There was a type of tiny tomato that they put in it that was tangy. I love it and will come back.

I got the fried rice and I wasn't expecting the food to be as delicious as it was to be honest. The meat was super tender and juicy and the salsa on top really balanced out the heaviness of the fried rice and cheese. The flavors went so well together and I devoured my food wishing that I had more just because it tasted so good. I ordered beforehand and it only took 15 minutes to be prepared and be ready for me to pick up and the food was still warm. I will definitely be coming back here to try the other items on the menu.

Bowlzuca with garlic chicken Taco combo (veggies + picanha)

Brazuca Grill is my obvious answer to lunch when I'm in the Dogpatch neighborhood on a weekday. - Bowlzuca: So much variety in a single bowl! From beans to an egg (fried to your preference) to your protein of choice, you won't get bored eating this. The garlic chicken was soft, tender, and flavorful and the accompanying salsa really brought it all together. - Taco combo: $4 extra for yucca fries, but don't underestimate them! They're sizable, delicious, and gone too soon. I think the veggie taco comes with some kind of black bean mix, but the steak taco was my standout, especially when dipped in the cream sauce. The food truck is located on 22nd and Indiana, which is near Woods Yard Park, a great place to peacefully enjoy your lunch!

A Brazilian food truck that has some fusion options like tacos, burritos, quesadillas and fried rice. They also have bowls which seem more traditionally Brazilian. I really liked the chef's specialty of Brazilian Fried Rice, which I never had before. Picanha Bowlzuca: Reminded me a little of lomo saltado, except without the fries. Big cuts of tasty sirloin with red onions and tomato chunks in a nice sauce. Also, there were some not-that-spicy little pickled peppers too. Really great taste. Not a huge portion though, so you'll probably end just eating rice, beans and fried egg in your last few bites. Brazilian Fried Rice: Basically everything thrown into fried rice then wrapped in a melted cheese shell. The crispy browned cheese was a big differentiator compared to normal fried rice. Lots of different meats and a bunch of black beans. And some nice sauces on top. Think I liked this mishmash here more than the bowlzuca, which had everything separated.

Wowww... soooo yummy. I thought this meal was good. I ordered tacos! I think the mixture and combination of flavors make for a memorable meal. Will definitely be ordering again. The truck sits right next to my apartment building and I smell the food each time I walk past with my dog. I finally ordered and wasn't disappointed. I think I'd need to try it a few more times. Although it was delicious, I feel as though I may have a few other favorites in the city. But that won't stop me from ordering again sometime.

Brazilian Fried Rice (cheese bun was an add on)

Brazuca's truck caught our eye during the craft fair at Pier 70 this weekend. We got the quesadilla, a cheese bun, and the Brazilian fried rice. The quesadilla was perfectly cooked and flavorful. There was nothing that was especially Brazilian about this quesadilla but we didn't really mind since it was so good - it was something you'd expect at a top notch Mexican place. The fried rice (pictured) was being marketed as an especially Brazilian dish - it was $17 and has good portion size. We couldn't finish it one sitting and took it home. In terms of flavor, we appreciated the fried cheese on top of the rice but the mixture of meat (beef, pork, AND chicken) was a bit too overwhelming for us. Maybe we should have just asked for one meat and not the default mix. Overall a good experience and the staff on the truck were very friendly!

Pulled pork burger with an egg $13.00. I'll do w/o the egg next time.

Be expecting loads of awesome flavors from anything off their menu. The food is always cooked to your likings and never UNDERCOOKED! Most people that are not hip to well seasoned food will always talk down about any restaurant they encounter. But you won't have to worry about that here. My coworkers and I have never gotten sick or had any loose bowls after stuffing our faces with anything off the menu from their truck. The customer service is tip too. They treat all and new customers as family. The line to wait is just minutes and we'll worth it. The bad part is that you'll want to keep coming back for more. HANG OVER??? This family knows the cure to that issue. The pulled pork is to die for!!!

There are floor-to-ceiling windows in the main dining room, revealing a slice of life on Market St. in the City, with the antique F Trains, modern Muni buses and people making their way in this cozy city. Beautiful buffet. I was literally eating like a king, so I took my time and appreciated each bite. The buffet dishes are enough to get full on, so I always restrict myself here, just getting some butter lettuce to do wraps, some preemo guac, some brocc, the bean soup is great, I'll get 2 french fries and 1 yucca and 4 caramelized plantains. There's so much more. You've got a whole mess of delicious greens to keep your meal balanced. I typically don't eat any meat from the buffet, I prefer my salmon to be a little more undercooked. Did I already say cheesy bread, because I will have another refill, thanks! When you're ready for the meats, you turn the little wheel on your table to green, the staff comes over with some steaming goodness and you ready your tongs to catch a fresh slice of meat (thank you, glorious cows), then turn that wheel to red when you have the portion you need. My friend and I practiced some spirituality and had to say a respectful "no" when the chicken and such came around. We came here for the meats! Tonight, the customer favorite meat was favorite-ing, that's the top sirloin. Not dry! The beef ribs they rolled out on the cart were a welcome spectacle and the fall-off-the-bone meat was melty and succulent. While I love the Peanut Butter Thing for dessert, we decided to listen to our bodies and throw in the towel. That was until the staff came out with a scoop of prime vanilla ice cream and a birthday candle and a song in Portuguese. Staff were super attentive, responsive, warm and generous. I recommend it for a special event or for a meal treat.

The interior is honestly gorgeous. There's a lot of seating and fun decor all around, and it feels like a place you'd want to sit and hang out for a while. The menu is displayed on the wall and offers Brazilian style cafe items like cheese breads, sandwiches, pastries, and specialty drinks like matcha, coffee, and seasonal beverages. Right away though, the service felt off. The workers came across pretty uninviting and seemed more focused on chatting with each other than interacting with customers, which is always a red flag. The prices are also pretty steep, which might be because of the location. I ordered the pistachio matcha and the Brazilian cream cheese sandwich. I don't like my matcha too sweet because I want to actually taste the matcha, so I asked for less sugar. Instead, I was told they'd just add less pistachio cream. The drink ended up being really disappointing. It tasted super flavorless and almost watery. The pistachio cream itself was nice and had real pistachio pieces on top, but it didn't save the drink. For almost $10, it just didn't make sense, especially when their regular matcha is around $7.60. Also, there were no prices listed for seasonal drinks, so you don't really know what you're paying until checkout. The cheese sandwich was good and warm, filled with that Brazilian cream cheese. It was enjoyable, but not something I'd go out of my way for again. It's about the size of a McChicken and priced at $7.60, which feels a little high considering there's no protein, just cream cheese. Overall, I'm not sure if this is just a tourist spot because of its location near the piers, but I left more confused than satisfied.

The coliflor was okay. It was a little dense for me. The Hueso Asado was scrumptious, buttery and full of flavor, but half of a bone marrow was too small for an appetizer and only served with 4 small thin crostini. For entree we had the Ojo de Bife and Malbec short ribs. The Ojo de Bife which is the rib eye was delicious and grilled perfectly. The meat was not as tender, but the meat itself had a lot of flavor. The short ribs were excellent! Very tender and scrumptious. I would order this again. They should bring back the beef tongue or Lengua. I heard it is a must try. Anyway, we had a great time. The dishes were between $15 - $20, and the kabob plates allowed you to select two sides from 3 selections (yucca flour, yucca stew, and beans). I've had yucca, but not in flour or stew form. I thought the stew would be a soup, but it was a steamed piece of yucca, which was not bad. I learned what it was after ordering it. Also, yucca flour is literal flour that is in a small ramekin that you would sprinkle on all your other food items. I am pointing this out to anyone who is a first-timer at a Brazilian restaurant. I experienced, got schooled, and passing the knowledge to you. As the previous reviewer said, the pot of chili in oil on the table is fire, so eat in moderation. It has fantastic flavor but is very, very spicy. All the dishes were unique and tasty except for the beef kabob, which was overcooked steak on a stick.

I was honestly surprised and blown away by this dish because I changed my order a few times! Most of the menu is in Portuguese with barely any English! I couldn't read the names of most of dishes, but thank god for Google Translate! So I wasn't sure what I was ordering.... This was the perfect dish in terms of flavor, taste, texture, and quality! It has all my favorite elements! Crispy Mini Fries, Juicy Succulent Shrimp, Cheesy Rice with Ham & Peas! The Fresh Acerola (Brazilian Cherry) Juice was also a little bit sweet and tangy! New type of juice I tried for the first time! Definitely coming back to try the Picanha aka Queen of Steaks (Top Sirloin Cap Steak) and other tasty dishes on the menu! Overall 5 outta 5 for food, taste, quality, service, and ambiance! If you want a great dinner restaurant with wine or a delicious lunch with a beer, this is the spot!

My party of 3 dined here on a Saturday for a little girls night and snagged a reservation on short notice (just a day prior). Honestly, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered a pao de queijo to start with two entrees to share. The pao de queijo, coming with just three measly balls, was dense, dry, and far from worth the hefty $8 price tag. The pao de queijo at Fogo De Chao is far superior which is not saying much, but at the very least, the famed Brazilian BBQ restaurant chain offers their bread gratis. The two entrees we ordered were the seafood stew and half rotisserie chicken. I'll admit the chicken was wonderfully cooked with every morsel succulent and juicy. But, the bed of rice was a tad too overcooked and the scant vegetables left the cohesive whole disappointing. Again, the seafood stew was underwhelming and the pilaf-esque rice seemed to make up the bulk of the "stew." I'm not sure if I'd dub seafood atop an oz or two of gravy as stew but perhaps stew is a subjective term.

We were there on a Friday afternoon and our bartender Jaques took great care of us making us feel welcomed. We ordered the pao de quiejo, which had a crispy crust and cheese gooey center as well as the beef kibbeh as our appetizers. Both hit the spot just right with our drinks. Will love to come back for a full dinner service as their menu was really fun and even included vegan items.
