The waiting room is spacious with about four seats, and they even offer free refrigerated bottled water, which is a nice touch. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, and the last time I was there they were playing good music at just the right volume--not too loud, not too soft. Even though they do not take insurance (and there are some great reasons they don't!), we have found them to often be less expensive than getting some of the same prescriptions through our local pharmacies using our insurance. We live about 680 miles from their pharmacy, so their direct shipping is a great help. We always get our refills within 2 or 3 days of calling it in. The Hotze Health and Wellness Center (Physician's Preference Pharmacy's sister company) has been a game changer in our health over the last 16 years. Although we live far from their location, we continue to use them both as we have never found anything else like it.

The first few times they did an ok job. As of recently, they keep messing up on quoting me charges. A quick example, they will call and confirm I want to move forward with RXs my doctor sent through. I ask them to confirm the items and totals per RX. They tell me a price over the phone and then charge my card a different (higher amount). When I called to inquiry why and get a refund they said "the lady who called you made a mistake, oops." Sorry, what?! So the customer is out money because YOU the company made a mistake? They offered NO credit. Now I'm out the money. My RXs are mailed to me since I live an hour away from them and so I'm at the mercy of their service on the phone. They have also saved my card on file when I have never given written authorization for this. So they are charging my card whatever they want! This is a huge deal since this 1. That's illegal, and 2. They don't bill insurance at this pharmacy, so I have to pay up front and submit to my insurance for a reimbursement even though my insurance WILL pay for these scripts.

I was seen by Senthil and Lani, and I have nothing but great things to say about them! After hearing about my lingering cough and wheezing, we decided to delay my wellness visit blood work and focus more on identifying the cause of these issues and treating it. They were very thorough in their exams and tests, and did a great job of explaining the medications that they would be prescribing. I left the clinic feeling better than I arrived thanks to the breathing treatment I received, and now have some prescriptions that will help me if a coughing / wheezing fit comes on that keeps me up at night.
