We went with Marquez Fencing because they were very knowledgeable and responsive. Their team came on time, answered all our questions, got our feedback and approval before proceeding with any changes, and was done in a day. Our fence and gate look great, exactly as the mockup Rick provided. The materials were great also. We now have a higher and sturdier retaining wall. We will use them again for our fence on the other side of the house once we are ready. Highly recommend.

Garcia was the easiest to communicate with, he was punctual to meet up, his quoted price was great and he finished the job on time. About a month after the installation I thought there was a problem with the irrigation system they installed so he came out to look at it on short notice. Turns out we'd broken a sprinkler head without knowing it. Garcia helped me fix the problem in a few minutes and the system was good as new. 100% recommend him and his team!

We been holding off on getting our backyard fence repaired as there were a few damaged and loose…read moreboards that accumulated over the last few years due to the weather. Thankfully, Yelp has been super helpful with our search for a contractor and we landed on using Garcia Fencing. We reached out for a quote and the contractor Kenny was quick in setting up a time to come over for an initial assessment (discussed what needed to be fixed and what style of wood (board on board)/stain to fix with) and quote of the overall cost. Let's just say the overall project to replace all the backyard fence can be pretty expensive but we received a reasonable estimate. It only took them about a little bit more than half a day to get the entire fence replaced which was super impressive. We did end up having to call them back another day to do some additional fixes for some gaps on the fences that we noticed but they were able to come to fix those up. The new fence did end up looking very nice and sturdy! The stain really does make it look very polished and clean. Overall, we had a good experience working with Garcia fencing and would recommend for any future fencing needs. Also warranty is seven years so def a big help for any future fencing concerns.

Gerald came out to estimate our back fence which conveniently (not) decided to lean over into our neighbor's yard. We accepted the estimate, did one change order (to add extra feet), and settled on a construction date. Today, Gerald, Saul, and Reuben arrived on time and with everything ready to go. Saul and Reuben are amazing! They worked tirelessly all day, communicated so well, and were cheerful throughout. It was wonderful to have them around. I couldn't believe that they were able to put in a 2' retaining wall and 25' of fence in one day - so much digging! When they left, everything was clean and nice. I'm including a photo, but we are the ones who stacked stuff in front of the fence to keep the dog from getting into the setting concrete. If you are considering fence work, I highly recommend Reuben Borg Fence and especially Gerald, Saul, and Reuben. Thank you so very much!

Gerald from RB Fence came to look at the job and provide an estimate. His quote was very detailed, much more so than any of the others we received, and it was the only quote to include a Split Invoice Addendum form for dividing the cost with our neighbor, enabling us each to pay separately and having the amount of each share clearly documented. (This was particularly important because we agreed on an uneven split.) RB Fence was the only quote that came this way, and it really was a selling point, because it made things easier for us. On the day the work was to be done, the crew arrived on time and immediately got to work. We were surprised by how quickly they got the old fence down and the new one up. Gerald came by partly through the job to make sure we didn't have any questions and things were on track. I appreciated that he took responsibility in that way. The job was completed in a timely manner, and the new fence and two new gates look terrific! Working with RB Fence was the best choice for this job.

Outstanding service from Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County!…read more I had an issue with my garage door and was initially trying to troubleshoot the Genie opener myself. Edgar came out and did an excellent job of diagnosing the problem step by step rather than simply guessing or replacing parts. He identified that the springs needed to be replaced, and while doing the work he also noticed that the bearings were worn out. He brought this to my attention and replaced those as well. He was thorough, professional, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. What impressed me most was that Edgar took the time to properly understand the underlying problem instead of just trying to make a quick repair. After the work was completed, he made sure everything was operating properly and the garage door was working smoothly again. The pricing was also very reasonable and fair, especially considering the additional work required. Edgar was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and professional throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Edgar and R&S Erection of Southern Alameda County to anyone needing garage door repair or service. Excellent work and excellent customer service. 5 stars without hesitation!

There's nothing like moving into a new home where your absolute FAVORITE thing was the yard, and…read morethen finding out that the irrigation is completely broken! It was literally a scramble drill to manually water every day until we could move in - not exactly the home-coming we were hoping for. Gerardo and his team restored our faith in contractors. I can't say this with near the emphasis I'd like to right now, but it's important. So I'll try. This crew truly takes pride in what they do. They really care. They were meticulous, respectful, prompt with scheduling and work ethic. Every day, (my wife reports) they busted their butts! So let me back up. Day one when we moved in, we found a blowout on the first manifold of our irrigation system. No water to any of the 12 irrigation zones. Beyond that, we came to learn that tree roots and other problems had completely taken 2 zones offline, and there were an assortment of other problems all over the yard. The wasted water (and bill) must have been enormous for the sellers. Gerardo promised me that he would fix our manifolds (all five of them), plumb them into nice underground vaults, and then ensure every plant on the property had water. He did exactly what he said he would do! In some cases, I had to laugh... If I could complain about anything, the watering efficiency is more targeted than I expected. We literally have little spouts from multiple drip lines directly INSIDE several bushes. ZERO waste. I've been running this thing daily to try and coax what were dying plants back to life. But I think my water bill may still be less than my prior home. Our previously dying plants are greening up. Gerardo fixed all the wiring, programmed my controller, and set us up with a VERY automated yard. The work is beautiful! FAR better than any irrigation system I've had before. Gone are our multiple PVC towers. Now we have beautiful, invisible, underground access panels. Our yard NOW does what we thought it was going to from day 1. Do yourself a favor. On top of that, Alex was easy to communicate with, responsive, and made sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. If you're looking for someone reliable who does high-quality work at a great price, Alex is your guy. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again or recommend him to anyone needing fencing work done.

Also their website, portfolio, information, and contracts are super detailed and clear, which promotes confidence and demonstrates to me they care about their brand. Leo is a true artist. He has a very calming vibe to him. I wanted a gate design that would be harmonious with the Tuscan ranch style exterior of our home and also different from anything that I saw online. At our initial consultation, I had some sketches and couldn't exactly pinpoint what I wanted. Leo showed me color samples and iron accent books. He was the only one that brought this for me to view which was extremely helpful. Basically at the end of our meeting, we came to a pretty solid conclusion of what I would like. His pricing is very reasonable and was competitive with other quotes and I felt he added a lot of insight and artistic value. He didn't put limitations on what I wanted. I was told by other contractors that I shouldn't and couldn't do certain things. I'm glad I stuck with my gut and hired Resolute Iron Works. The gate was delivered two weeks ahead of the promised date. Installation took about 5 hrs. Leo and Jason did a fantastic job. The area was clean when installation was done. I would highly recommend Resolute Iron Works to anyone who wants a gate that isn't a cookie cutter design.

Jose brings an incredible amount of expertise, hard work, and enthusiasm to every job. He is very communicative throughout the process and works efficiently while still maintaining a very high standard. It is clear he cares deeply about doing the job right. I hired him for two projects to restore wood that had been badly maintained over the years. From the start, he was upfront about realistic expectations and worked closely with me so the final result would be both beautiful and aligned with my personal taste, even with the challenges from past wear and damage. His process is meticulous. He carefully preps, conditions, and treats the wood so the finish looks great and will last. One of the projects he worked on was restoring our outdoor patio seating, which had been heavily worn down by the elements. It had become rough, uncomfortable to sit on, and even left little splinters. Jose transformed it completely. The wood is now smooth, almost velvet to the touch, and looks beautiful again. He also took the time to tighten loose planks so everything feels solid and well cared for.
