Now that I've been to a bunch more TJ's I must say they have a lot of space in this location. Usually the aisles are pretty cramped but this one is super nice and spacious. Parking lot is ok, not bad at all. The worse one to this date is still Tampa. Since Sarasota has a new Trader Joe's in UTC, I often go there, but this one is still a good one. UTC parking lot is the biggest being in a strip mall, but I think I think I like this one better.

But in the same breath there were several employees that were so intent on restocking that they glared at customers for the crime of attempting to pick out their groceries. Or myself, who stood beside someone named Chris who absolutely refused to move and was almost irritated that I was making several selections from the same area, and not fast enough, that he clearly wanted to unload a box into. Since he refused to move I ended up walking away without several items. Like how are you angry at people for grocery shopping when you work at a grocery? Anyways... I love TJ's items, always will, I guess the misery at this location will be something we just have to withstand when we're home on Siesta Key.

When I first placed the order, bakery employee told me it was not a problem to have a small bag of buttercream icing on the side for me to add-on my own decorations once I receive the cake. When I called the morning of, no notes about icing on the side. Told me that I couldn't have it. I persisted and asked again, was on hold, finally got back to me and said they could do it but it was an extra $4 and that they'll NEVER do this again. First employee told me that it wouldn't be a problem and that they'll make sure it'll be on the side for me.... Regardless of that whole situation, my cake was able to be picked up early, I did buy a tiny bag of $4 buttercream to decorate my own cake, and the cake did taste delicious. I got brown butter cookie crunch frosting with vanilla cake and fresh strawberries on the inside with white buttercream on the outside. Everyone looooved the brown butter cookie crunch. Then made and placed the paper water decorations on myself.

On entrance to the parking lot, there is a sign advertising Roast Duck, Roast Pork and Roast Pork Belly! It is a good size market with kitchen items, sauces, noodles, ramen, rice, dairy, produce, meats, seafood, etc. There are mixed Filipino, Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese food items. The place is clean and well organized. At the entrance, a layout wall chart was clearly in display! According to my wife, most prices are cheaper than Fort Myers, but a few items are higher. There are live fish, lobsters, blue crabs and other seafood available. The lobster prices are good! We did not buy any seafood because we simply were not prepared to cook seafood and a small cooler in our car. Wait, they have a huge live King Crab in the tank for $59.99 per pound! They have a good selection of Sake and Soju. We picked up a whole roast duck, 1 1/2 pound of roast pork, produce, tofu, dried mushroom, and dried chrysanthemum teas. No bakery in this market and we pick up a few packages of frozen roast pork bun, or Cha Shu Bao. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back!
