We cooked it according to directions and when we went to take the lobster meat out of the shell, we noticed it was all black even the inside of the shell. It was ROTTEN. I called the store to let them know, there was NO apology or anything, I was treated as if I were being untruthful, disrespectfully which is not the case with other Publix stores we have shopped. All other Publix stores go above and beyond to provide good customer service. Upon walking into the store with my receipt and photos of the rotten seafood, EMILY, who was at the Customer Service counter, immediately had an unfriendly expression and was again questioning me like I was a child, I am a 58-year-old businesswoman. Again, NO APOLOGY, just questioning my integrity and reluctantly giving me a credit. I expected customer service and gave this store 2 chances to do so. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!! Emily should be replaced or have a lot more customer service training!!!!

The line for sandwiches was 5 people deep, lines at all the checkout counters as well. Bought fresh peaches, cucumbers, potatoes, and more. Rave: do NOT leave the store with one of the new blueberry handpies. This is probably the best handpie I've ever had. I popped it in the airfryer and it came out so flaky and gooey. Not insanely sweet either. Wish I bought more of them. Ate it too quickly to get a photo so I looked one up, it's wrapped in parchment paper and in a basket next to the donuts.

Staff go out of their way to smile and ask if they can help, the selections are amaaaaazing, tons of LOCAL products, bulk products, a bakery that actually bakes their breads, and the cafe is fantastic (bowls, subs, soups, even lobster rolls!). They carry some organic products, and have "just okay" sales, mostly meat - although I got some beautiful avocados for .50. Today they're giving out ice cream cones for Labour Day. Tucked in the back is a little bakery and deli with Boars Head meats and locally made pies - both are a must! We tried the chopped Italian sandwich and we always have to get the banana caramel pie and tropical fruit key lime pie. The banana especially is by far one of the best pies you'll ever eat, don't miss it! Because we love this place, I'm giving it 5 stars, but this last year we did have one of the rudest customer service experiences yet. Everyone is typically very friendly and helpful, but the older lady working the front register was judgement and made us very uncomfortable. My 14 year old son had helped his sisters (4, 2, and 1) find their ducks and she didn't want to let any of them participate because he was the one who showed them to her (because they are stop small to reach over the belt). We had bought several items and this was one of the many trips we had made there that week. I'm only writing this in hopes that the owner sees it because when I asked why she was being so mean, she said because the owners were strict. I could not understand what my bully was saying due to her accent. I am hearing impaired. The other checkout employee, who I could understand refused to assist, which I believe is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. When I asked for a manager, I was lied to multiple times. I was told there was no manager onsite. I was told the manager was on lunch. I was told the manager wouldn't be in until the following morning. I was told I couldn't leave my contact information for the manager because it "would violate my privacy?!!!" I was presented with an employee claiming to be a manager. Finally, the manager "that wasn't there" appeared. I don't understand why I was treated this way. I do not understand why I was lied to. There are no other affordable full grocery options available in the area. Publix charges 30%+ more for their groceries. Basically, Walmart has determined that if we workers want to be able to buy affordable groceries we have to accept being treated horribly and No, they will not accommodate you disabilities if they don't want to.

There are a variety of specialty items as well as vitamins and other not easily attainable grocery items. Spouts carries several prepared foods and meals in addition to made-to-order sandwiches to and sushi. There are a variety of vegetarian and vegan items which I like. They always have a good array of seasonal items. I can also find organic purple fleshed sweet potatoes here which is awesome as they are not easily found otherwise. I also enjoy the organic sourdough bread selection. The baked goods they offer are good as well-don't sleep on the vegan chocolate chip cookies.
