We have been going to this speak easy place for the past 2 years .... Great prices on mid range and high end wines. Ex. Liter bottle of 23' Austin Hope $59 (79 with 20 off discount). Plump Jack $165. Love the speak easy bar at the back of the liquor store, just slide open the metal barn door. The bar tenders work in the bar or the restaurant thru another side door at the front of the store. The bartenders are great. They make phenomenal drinks and they have a 4-6 beers on tap from Belgium ambers, whites, and a few local ipa's. The restaurant is small with maybe 6-8 high tops as well as its own bar. The menu at the restaurant is different each night. One night Mexican, another smash burgers, Italian etc .... Pasta is home made. Sometimes on weekend nights, the menu is a set course meal. If you want a specific wine with dinner, you can bring it in from the liquor store and they will give it to you at list less 15%. During the peak season you need to text them to get a reservation. Came in after multiple recommendations and it did not disappoint. James made me two fantastic cocktails while nerding out on rum. The selection of rum here was out of this world. James poured me a few tastings and then after our drinks James walked me through the liquor selection and helped me pick out 3 awesome bottles of rum. read more

Another excellent dinner - this one was Wednesday's Coastal Menu dinner. The guest chefs delivered a delicious meal and Cali provided excellent service throughout. Dinner in the Hive bar was an unexpected great surprise. Made our reservation for 7:30. Seated and served soon after our arrival. Disappointed there was no Ice tea or lemonade for my Arnold Palmer but my diet coke from a can in a glass of ice was just fine. Blackened Chicken Alfredo Ceaser salad and bread were all delicious. Our server was very attentive, even made a sad face when she told us the Octopus was sold out. read more

I will start by saying that I have been a loyal customer to this business for over a year. I visit the store 2 to 3 times a month for a case of wine always paying using Apple Pay. On this last trip I noticed my card was charged twice so I made a trip to the store to get a refund showing the gentleman behind the counter my bank app and the fact that I was charged twice and his response was to tell me that the bank was the blame... needless to say I am reporting fraud on my account. Because it is the closest liquor store near me and I also like to grocery shop at Detwieler's I wish that they get their prices closer to their competition. I get that they are not a big chain but they want $40 for a 1.75 of Bombay Gin that goes for $26-30 at most stores. Other than the pricing issue it seems to be a nice place with good bar. read more

The staff, especially Broc, the owner, is welcoming and knowledgeable. They are always available to provide guidance through their well curated and diverse selection liquor and wine. They have my new favorite Gin "Roots of Ruin" made by a renovated 100+ yr old distillery in Franfort, KY. Excellent herbacious Gin.

We came here for one of their wine tasting events and spent roughly $300 on bottles of wine before leaving. The bottles were placed in a Skyy vodka box. It turns out that there was a circular whole in the bottom of the box they gave us and a $60 bottle of wine fell through that hole and broke. We do not live close by, but we made an effort to come back to this store and explain what had happened. They immediately said no, but I asked that they call whoever was in charge to see what could be done. The person in charge stated that he needed the box it came in and the UPC from the bottle of wine. The bottle of wine shattered on the ground so the UPC was unattainable. They then pretty much said "sorry about your luck, we aren't going to replace it." I will not be returning to this place and will be sharing this story with all of my friends who have been going to their bar and events. Really disappointed in the customer service if this establishment. read more
