We went here for a wine tasting, but were immediately told "you're gonna have to give me 20…read moreminutes" upon walking in. Nice to meet you too. We would have been happy to call ahead for a tasting but the website didn't say that we should (or needed to), and we were definitely visiting in the recommended 'walk-in tasting' times. Even though we didn't exactly get a warm welcome (there was also a table of people who looked at us strangely as we walked in) we would have been ok with waiting except that we had a three year old with us and this is DEFINITELY NOT SOMEPLACE YOU WANT TO BRING A YOUNG CHILD. Beautiful but fragile stuff at easily reachable areas all over the tightly packed space. Also this is a winery in a sketchily empty strip mall. We were very disappointed, especially after reading all the great reviews. Oh well, we'll spend our money at a nicer and friendlier establishment.

I asked the owner (his picture is on the wall) the price. he replied $18.00 a pound. Since my daughter is only here for 2 days, I asked for a quarter pound. He asked what grind, and I told him. He ground the coffee, and handed the bag to my daughter. She said it felt like more than a quarter pound. he owner said it was a pound. I said we only ordered a quarter pound, and he said they only sold it by the pound. So I asked why he didn't tell us that when I ordered a quarter pound, and his terse reply was "you didn't ask". THAT is the kind of attitude that gets a business in trouble. Remember, consumers vote with their dollars,

Joined their wine club through the previous owners and was told that we could "make up" the monthly…read moretasting if we missed the original date (usually the first Saturday of the month) - January was a very busy month for us, my wife's father passed away and she works as a radiology tech and works 12 hours shifts so our availability to do the tasting was limited - when I tried to schedule the tasting for the 29th of the month, I was told no - the employee told me that they couldn't afford to open the wine for just one couple - even though they had another make up tasting the following day. The owner refused to give me a refund for the month ($48.15 for just me) - so I disputed the charge on my card and he rebutted it with I had the whole month to make up the tasting! Not a true statement - this guy has no clue how to run a business - so much for customer service - we will never step foot in the place again!!! Promise!!
