They learned punk and rock n roll songs for us and then played a classical piece with our dear friend who is a bassoonist. We were blown away. They brought our wedding to the next level and I can't thank them enough. They were quick to respond to all of my questions and were very clear about what they could do and what it would take to accomplish what I had in mind. They went above and beyond for us. Prices were reasonable but customer service was horrible. Didn't feel comfortable sending the deposit without getting a signed contract and when asked to please send a signed contract so I can review was made to feel like I was dumb for asking. I got comments like" if u can't trust us now how can u trust us doing ur wedding". It was a simple request and I feel I have a right to ask since I'm not meeting these people till the wedding so I need to protect myself. I decided to go with a different company instead . read more

I recently hired Bravo Strings to perform at my home for a private birthday/holiday concert. I was very impressed by their prompt response to my initial outreach for a quote. We discussed all the details on the phone and I was mailed a contract to book the date. The day of the event, the musicians arrived well in advance of their performance time in formal attire. The musicians are very talented and engaged my guests by taking requests. Everyone had a very memorable time listening to the intimate live performance of tunes ranging from Eleanor Rigby to Holiday classics and Andrea Bocelli tunes. I got in touch with Bravo String Quartet at the last minute on Valentines day to rustle up a surprise for my valentine :) They worked their tails off to get a violinist to my girlfriend's house, in full formal tails and bow-tie attire, complete with bouquet in hand and played beautifully - all with a turnaround time of 24 hours. I just got married less than 2 weeks ago and I used Bravo String Quartet for my ceremony music at my wedding and they were lovely! My guests loved walking into our ceremony space (which was outside under a huge olive tree) and hearing the beautiful sounds of a violin duo greet them and play while they sat waiting for the ceremony to start and as other guests arrived. Ripsi was so responsive from the initial contact, to picking out music choices, and ultimately on the day of the wedding. Not only was my experience a positive one, but it really made my day so special and memorable and I will always remember hearing them play the music that my wedding party walked down the aisle to and of course playing the Wedding march for myself. They were wonderful and completely professional and even sought me out after the ceremony to congratulate me and give me happy wishes, which was completely appreciated. They sounded fantastic, graciously accepted our request to play a song outside their normal repertoire (the theme from Up) for our recessional, and were communicative and professional throughout the entire process. I corresponded with this company frequently concerning the music plans for the wedding. I listened to their samples online and was exited to have them at the wedding. I paid for 3 musicians to play strings for the prelude, whole wedding and during the cocktail hour. They required payment in advance and required transportation money to the Inland Empire. On my wedding day just prior to walking down the aisle the DJ realized the violinist had not arrived. Then I called them and they reported that the group was stuck in traffic. Several hours latter 2 violinist arrived at the reception and started talking to me and my husband concerning if we wanted our money back of if we wanted them to play for a little while during the reception. I was so upset I had my dad talk with them concerning the payment. They did not refund us any money because that what my Dad decided, but I felt like they should have refunded us the money due to the stress they caused. I marked them low on professionalism because they did not call and let us know they were running late, and they when they did arrive they did not have 3 violinist! I would warn against hiring them unless your wedding is within a 30 minute drive. read more
