I recently hired Put A String On It for a private dinner I had at home for my 11-year wedding anniversary. Daniel was extremely helpful and responded in a timely manner. Communication was excellent and we were able to pull off this surprise dinner for my wife. I chose the single violin option due to the limited space in my living room. Daniel was able to provide me a PDF sheet with a great list of music, I also had a special request for a song and he was able to find the music sheet for it and his performance of it brought my wife to tears. We had our wedding in November and hired the violin dual from Put A String On It. it was absolutely amazing and would hire them again. Daniel is incredibly responsive, quick to reply in emails and very detailed oriented. They have a great selection of songs to play. In particular, we wanted classical music during our ceremony as guest arrived, and then Bridgerton style songs as the groom (everything by John Legend ) and bride walked down the aisle (thousand years). This quartet is amazing!! We had a mini-matrimony on October 10th during Covid, which they took very seriously (masks on the entire time they were at venue) and were incredibly respectful and professional. Performance wise, the entire vibe was so special and personal. Their library of pop songs (which is really what we wanted to feature) is extensive, and they easily accommodated our additional song requests. Music is so important to us as a couple, and having people there to perform live-- especially during the crazy time we are living in-- was very meaningful on our big day. Put a String On It was at our wedding on 9/1/19 and they played for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Not only are they amazing musicians, they are also extremely kind, timely, and professional. On the day of the wedding, they were dressed in classy black attire and created a beautiful ambiance as our guests awaited the ceremony to begin. Leading up to the wedding, I worked with Daniel (lead violinist) to create a repertoire of music that I wanted for my ceremony. He provided his thoughts and feedback and helped me curate the perfect pieces for my special day. Daniel is also a great communicator and will respond to texts and calls in a timely manner! Super nice for a bride who is planning and needs answers quickly haha. (Thank you, Daniel!) For the ceremony, I requested specific classical pieces for each part of the ceremony. I also sent Daniel the exact arrangements of the pieces I wanted and even the specific tempo I wanted them played at. To say Daniel and team are flexible would be an understatement. He was very willing to hear me out on all my thoughts and implemented them perfectly on my special day! For cocktail hour, we had the quartet play pop-music and it was such a hit! Although I wasn't able to join my guests during cocktail hour, I could hear them playing from my bridal suite and I was bobbing my head to the fun tunes. Put A String on It performed the live music for our wedding ceremony in West LA this past October, and we were very happy with our experience from start to finish. We were referred to them by a friend and were able to immediately hear samples of their music on their website where they have listed their extensive repertoire of classical and pop songs. Many of the songs in their library interested us and ended up on our final playlist for the wedding. When we asked about adding some additional songs that weren't on their list, the process to do so was very easy. On the day of our wedding, all of the musicians arrived promptly and looked great. We received positive feedback about their playing from many guests, and most importantly, as we walked down the aisle, their music sounded terrific to us and was exactly what we intended. Our wedding was a pretty crazy feat because we wanted everything to be custom and DIY'd to our specificity - which included the ceremony music. Dan happens to be a personal friend and when we told him our dream of walking down the aisle to the Wedding Song from UP, he totally came to rescue when he said not only could he perform it for us, he could do it with his brother!
