Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful due to logistics and communication. The delivery showed up about 6 hours late, which completely threw off our setup timeline. Because they were so behind, I ended up having to stay at the property until 10:00 PM just to get everything placed and ready. To make matters worse, communication with the office was really difficult -- at one point, we had to have the delivery guys call the office repeatedly just to get someone on the phone and get direction/answers. That should never be on the customer (or the crew) to chase down. I'll say this: the delivery guys were honestly great. They were professional, kind, and clearly doing their best under the circumstances. We also ran into an issue with the table/chair heights. I ordered tall chairs, but I had selected shorter cocktail tables. They did help fix the issue, which I appreciate -- but the way it was handled made me feel like I was being scolded for it. When you're spending thousands and already dealing with a massively late delivery, the last thing you need is attitude. A simple "no worries, we'll get it sorted" would have gone a long way. Overall: great delivery crew, but the late delivery, hard-to-reach office, and the tone when resolving the setup issue made this a frustrating experience. I really wanted this to be a smooth, professional rental process, but it wasn't. I would not recommend.

Christian hooked us up with a table at Emerson Theatre on a Saturday night and there was only one tiny hickup all night - having not yet met Christian in person, I thought I saw a guy out front who might be him and struck up a conversation with "Are you Christian?" to which he replied "Yah." After some slightly awkward conversation, he asked "Wait, were you asking if my religion is Christianity?" Needless to say, this was not Christian, LoL. Anyway, he was extremely professional, followed up the perfect amount leading up to the event (not overbearing, but I also didn't have to worry whether things were going to fall through), and he even reached out a few days after the event to follow up and make sure my wife had a great time. Oh yah, and he even took care of us with no hassle when I needed to add in two more people to my group without trying to upsell me. I don't have a lot of experience going through promoters, but I can't imagine having a smoother experience. I promise other event planners exist that are willing to provide exceptional service even to those who don't have extravagant budgets. I had been following Fig & Whiskey on Instagram for a while because Billye Donya (who is an amazing photographer) often photographs parties that F&W puts together and I always thought they looked amazing. So, when the time came to plan the 1st birthday party of my rainbow baby after years of infertility and a miscarriage, I reached out to her because I wanted this party to be extra special. After all, there were years I thought I would never get to experience this milestone. I explained to Sarah that using her is a major splurge even for the minimal services she would be able to provide me with my budget and the reason why I was willing to do it. I also believed that since this is her speciality, she would know of vendors I didn't and would be able to provide savings through her relationships with certain vendors. Isn't that one of the main reasons people use event planners? So we decided that for $500 (paid upfront) she would curate a list of decorations and rentals for me and then I could decide what I wanted to use and she would help to purchase them and have them delivered to my house. She came to my house to check out the space which she mentioned is not something she normally does for a client like me. This is usually something she does for the clients purchasing one of her larger packages. I appreciated that she was willing to come meet me in person anyway. She came over, looked around our backyard, we talked about my expectations and wishlists, and then said she'd follow up with options. She sent me a deck of 3 or 4 pages and most of the items on there were things I had already found on Etsy myself and other things were overpriced. She clearly was not keeping my personal budget in mind and why was I paying someone to do Etsy searches for me? I had asked if she could find better pricing for certain things and it would take her about a week to respond with other options still out of budget. Each time I would reach out to her with questions or needing help finding new options, it would take her at least a week to respond back to me. I quickly realized that I was not a priority to her because I wasn't one of her big package clients and with how unresponsive she was, I wouldn't be able to trust that she would be paying attention to shipping and delivery times and get everything ordered in time for the party. So, after about 3 additional emails, I decided to go it alone. I purchased the things I wanted from Etsy and then did the research myself to find more affordable dupes of other items on her list. Once I stopped emailing, so did she. As the event date approached, she never once reached out checking in. Never asked if I made any decisions. Never asked what she could order for me. Never followed up. It's been a year and a half and I still have never heard from her. After the event date passed, she still never checked in. Never apologized for dropping the ball. Never asked how everything went. She had absolutely no problem taking $500 from me and giving me nothing in return.

I Purchased this videography package as a present for my best friends kid's birthday…read more I was a little skeptical at first as 3D is relatively new but I have to say that I was astonished with the results. I was given a choice of various 3D formats and chose to get my video in anaglyph as neither I not my friend have a 3D tv. The footage was high definition and the 3D effect was brilliant. Whats even better is that the prices were very very reasonable. The kids had a superb time watching the birthday video and wanted to watch it over and over again. They cant stop talking about to their friends. I am inspired to buy a 3D television as I am told the 3D looks even better on a cinema 3DTV.
