A one horse pizza in a one horse town - undercooked crust layered with barely melted cheese and cold sauce reminds me of those glorious Friday "Pizza Days" in grammar school where hardened slices of institutional grade mozzarella (the original "government cheese") and acrid sauce lay helpless on an untoasted English Muffin. A concoction so putrid that the Monsignor's admonition against wasting food was simply ignored. A Communion wafer dipped in Ragu would have been more satisfying. Hopefully, I'll never pass this way again but if I do I'll make sure to run every red light in Salem on my way to those uncharted places in northern Jersey where legitimate pizza exists. So this is officially my last time with this janky a** place. The garlic mozzarella cheese bread was just a sub role with cheese melted on top. My 5yr old looked at it and said "yuck". C the pic n please make ur own decisions. I don't like to knock restaurants down, however, please don't play with my food. Here's my breaking point with Bravo's. I only order online because I assume that ppl can read an order n not jack it up by forgetting something or not adding because it was forgotten. This, for many, might be a petty reason, but I'll take my time out for this after so many disappointing orders. I also order online because there's a deal. So the site to order online clearly gave me a free 2 liter soda. The guy behind the counter told me that I had cancelled my soda. So I looked at him and asked him if I had cancelled, why would it be on the receipt for $0. His reply was that the owner told him that orders with a free soda still get charged the $3. 1st of all, u can probably get a 2 liter from rite aid for cheaper than that. Let's not mention that the owner is subscribed to a site that he's not aware of the deals this site provides after ordering so much online. Whoa, ok. So as he's asking that I wait while he calls the owner.... I think not! Fresh from work, hubby asked for something quick for us and the kids and this man wants me to wait. PASS!!! I went home but not 1st making sure I update my review. The medium pizza is usually done right. The wings r a hit or miss sometimes for some reason. Between this place and pat's, I cannot decide which is worse food wise in Salem. I just give all the way up. I order from bravos almost every week. The food for the most part is good but the customer service sucks I order food yesterday. My salad dressing was all over in the bag and they didn't pack a fork. I didn't make a big deal about it. I said shit happens. I ordered the same salad the next day and requested they make sure the salad lids are tight and to please pack a fork. I get the food and again no fork so I called complained and sent the food back because you can't eat a salad without a fork Manager on site was very rude hung up on me and didn't try to accommodate nothing , when I asked for the manager or the owners name, he told me no, and hung up read more

First off, let me say that I personally haven't eaten the food, but I purchased over $350 worth of food the other day (and a couple hundred dollars in the past as well). While ordering on the phone, I specifically asked for my receipt to be left at the facility that they were delivering it to for me. I returned to the facility the next day to pick up the receipt and I was told that Bravo Pizza said that I requested for them NOT to leave the receipt. I ended up calling Bravo and asking for it to be faxed since I needed to get an expense report done and I wasn't close enough to drive to pick it up. Everything seemed okay... The day came and went and I still didn't receive a fax. I called back and, supposedly, the manager was supposed to call me back the day before to inform me that the fax machine had broken....... NEVER happened. I left my phone number, so it shouldn't have been a problem at all. I can guarantee that I won't be purchasing from here anymore, and I've already turned a few other businesspeople that we're planning to use the pizzeria for events away with my situation. In certain industries, not having this paperwork is a major no-no, and while they clearly made it seemed like they couldn't care less, I'm getting questioned about billing. Seriously, it doesn't take much effort to give me a call and fax/email the info....it just goes to show how much they're concerned with your needs AFTER getting you to pay. PURCHASE SOMEWHERE ELSE UPDATE: Another day gone by and I'm just hearing that they won't be able to provide the receipt until Tuesday. This place is a joke. Don't waste your time. UPDATE: Spoke to staff today and was told that the manager would call back. Hours passed. I called back. They say the manager came in and then left...and I never heard from Vinnie (so called "boss"). Tonight my fiancé called to order pizza for the family as well as his sisters family at 7:12pm and was told it would be delivered in about an hour. He called at 8:20pm to check on the status of the pizza and to offer to pick it up instead. We understand businesses are currently hurting and poorly staffed and that is out of Bravo's control, but we were told at 8:20pm that our pizzas were on the way to our house currently so we did not need to go pick it up. At 8:45pm my sister in law had to take her family home without having dinner to get ready for bed since it was a school night. My fiancé called again to see if it would be easier if he just picked up the pizzas and we were told the driver should be there now...Well he was not and he did not deliver until 9:10pm after we had to make dinner for our son so he could go to bed. Two hours waiting for two pizzas that we no longer even needed is absolutely ridiculous! I just don't understand why they wouldn't just allow us to pick them up if they were that backed up! This place is priced well. Sometimes they are great and others not so great. I would say it's 50/50 on how my experience will be. I usually do delivery and sometimes it takes forever and others it's fine. I'm literally less than a mile away. Food quality I would give 4 out of 5. Absolute trash. No soap in the disgusting used toilet paper covered bathroom. Floors haven't been mopped or swept in months. Ordered a white pizza they give us a cheese pizza and said "oh I thought you said cheese" and then the waitress walked away. No parm cheese, no other seasonings, and nothing but Attitude when asking for something. Horrible place, stay far away from here. What a horrible stop on our way trough NJ.... We've had pizza, chicken parm, subs and probably a couple of other things from Bravo and have to say for the most part their stuff is not bad at all. Not sure why some of the other reviewers have noted mixups and greasy food, they've never screwed up one of my orders. I have noted a FEW times that I've called, been put on hold by a busy order-taker, and then forgotten - I could hear them put the phone down on the counter and the hectic surroundings for a few minutes, and I guess the server forgot about my call. So I just hung up and called back. Busy places get like that sometimes. The pizza can sometimes be a little greasy, but again, you get that with pepperoni - order a non-greasy topping, like we have, and the pizza is no worse than anybody else's. I DO prefer Bravo to Pat's - better prices, overall nicer staff and quicker. read more
