A charming hotel on the beach! Very clean with two nice pools. Wonderful view from the top level- I definitely would stay here again!

This is a very beautiful hotel close to the ferry, it's not too expensive about $188/night. The room is spacious and comfy with ac and fans. The only thing I felt that would've made the room perfect is if it had a microwave to at least heat some food. There's a mini fridge which was great. Theres two pool and they're both beautiful. The process to check in and out was very simple and quick just make sure to speak with the owner and let him know you plan on coming to reserve your spot.

A great pick for a hotel if you don't feel like breaking the bank at the W Hotel in Vieques. With it being right by the water and the ferry, it is very convenient to get to either by foot or cab. The service there is top-notch. The people at the front desk/lobby area was super accommodating and eager to help. Anytime we had any questions or had any needs, they tried their best to answer questions and provide any additional information needed. They provided maps for where the popular places were in Vieques. Beach towels were provided and for small fee, you can rent beach umbrellas. The hotel itself is quite nice, with a great beachy vibe to it. We rented a variety of rooms and they were all great, clean with soap/shampoo/conditioner in the showers. More than adequate for a multi-night stay. The hotel also has two pools and offers breakfast in the morning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I wouldn't mind booking this place again if I ever find myself in Vieques.

Amazing experience! My girlfriend and I fortunately got the honeymoon suite and sweet it was. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool right from our room. We also had our own private balcony with a table for a romantic dinner. The location is walkable to the downtown area (15-20 minutes). Only "knock" is that the walkout beach is not swimmable due to the algae but that's certainly not due to the hotel. Carl, the owner was more than accommodating and is a text away if we needed anything. He texted me a few days prior to our check in date and when we arrived he gave us a personal tour of the hotel and texts us with recommendations on what to do while we are on the island. Note: BOOK TRANSPORTATION WAYYYYYYY IN ADVANCED. It's an island living off another island so vehicles (cars and golf carts are extremely limited) but there are taxis and beach tours available. Anyways, back to the hotel - the pools (yes plural) are the best in the island and that's from locals. Can't recommend this place enough. Also, the price is similar to Airbnb's. Price + view + location + pools + customer service!? What more can you ask for. Book with confidence!

This review is way overdue. We spent 11 days over Christmas at the BBH. It was such a relaxing, comfortable experience that it felt like home by the end of it. We were lucky enough to experience both the casita (large, comfortable, private with a great view of the water) and the upstairs suite (my personal favorite--you feel like you are floating on the water). The owners are lovely. They spend tons of time making sure you are happy and well informed. We explored all their recommendations and found them spot on for every one. Since we were there over Christmas, the hotel and the island were full. You would have never known it. We always had one of the pools to ourselves and Carl and Janna spent so much time making sure we were enjoying ourselves. Vieques is a funky island and it was just what we were looking for and, luckily, we found BBH because it was the perfect place to stay when exploring the island. We will be back soon. Thanks for everything. Tom

We LOVED this place, and it's a good thing too, because it rained most of the time we were there. We opted for an upper-level, ocean view room, and the view did not disappoint. Major bonus of the second story rooms is that they're private even with the curtains open. The upper balconies aren't covered, so on a particularly wet afternoon, we grabbed an ice bucket, filled it with Medallas and sat by the little covered area next to the pool. This might not sound like everyone's idea of an awesome time, but it was probably the most relaxing part of our vacation and there's nothing like swimming in the pouring rain. As far as I know, the pool is open 24/7 (no one told us otherwise, but there are rooms right next to the pool, so I assume if you're loud, someone might shoo you out of the pool), it's not heated, so on cooler days it was....refreshing, but the view and liberal bring-your-own-drinks policy totally made up for that. It's walking distance from restaurants and bars, but you should definitely rent a car/golf cart to get to the beaches and/or Esperanza.

This Hotel is absolutely the best place to stay while on Vieques. The place is clean, secure, safe and located directly off of the main road. The staff are super willing to help you out and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. The prices are dead on correct for what you want to spend. Not once did the staff make me feel like I was anything other than family. If I needed a place to eat or a beach to go to. They sent me to the places they go to. I had a blast each and every day. Every once and while the WIFI goes done BUT WHO cares. Your on a tropical island in the Caribbean and you shouldn't be worried about Facebook ways.

Great little boutique hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights - in the upper ocean view room. It was a beautiful room - modern interior, private balcony, and incredible view of the ocean and pool below. Plenty of room with a queen bed, chairs, closet, safe, refrigerator, tv, large bathroom, and balcony. The staff was super friendly upon arrival, giving us a full tour of the grounds and showing us our room. We were a little bummed that there was not much to do around this hotel - for the most part you can walk to the town of Isabel nearby, but if we go back to Vieques we would stay in Esperanza. You cannot swim off the beach in front of the hotel as it is rocky, but they do have two pools. We were happy to find that they had beach chairs, snorkel gear, and coolers available for guests to use. They also had a complimentary breakfast which included coffee, tea, fruit, cereal, and hard boiled eggs. They lost 1 star because the wifi was horrible. The website advertised free wifi, which for us is really important because we work remotely. I confirmed with the staff when we arrived, prior to signing paperwork, and they said we would have access in our room, with the strongest signal being in the plaza outside. There was NO service in our room, and two of the days it rained so getting wifi in the plaza outdoors was impossible unless we wanted to ruin our macbooks. There's also barely any cell phone service on the island, so without wifi we could not communicate with clients or family. Otherwise, it was a great hotel and we would recommend for those who are looking to just disconnect and escape from it all!

This is the greatest little hotel! We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved it! The view of the beach, through the palm trees and over the pool, is breath taking. The pool is about 16 yards long so my wife was able to swim laps. The sound of the surf is calming. The best rooms are the 2nd floor ocean view rooms. The grounds are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. There is a Bar-B-Q next to the 2nd pool, close to the honor bar, which is a very nice perk. There is snorkel gear, ice chests of various sizes, and beach chairs available for borrowing at no charge. The free breakfast is minimal but nice. Fresh tropical fruit, warm hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast and coffee. There are no microwaves in the rooms, but there is one available in the breakfast area. The rooms have a small fridge and a safe. No coffee maker. Although when I asked for one it was immediately provided. They lock up the breakfast area at night, so limited access to the microwave. This hotel is in a neighborhood on the edge of Isabel Segunda, the largest town on the island. It is a 10 minute walk to town. In another 10 minutes you can be at the other end of town, or at Glass Beach, which has limited parking. There are so many great restaurants in Isabel Segunda, all within walking distance of the hotel. If you rent a jeep there is plenty of parking at the hotel. We stayed in a 2nd floor ocean view room with a small balcony. The room was comfortable and the balcony with a table and 2 chairs was nice. This is not the W. This is a small hotel emerged in the local community. If you want a very nice place to stay that feels like you are part of the local culture, then the Bravo Beach Hotel is the best.
