Welcome to the neighborhood! Brava is a great place to chill out with friends. I loved the vibe. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. It's fun to have people to chat with that really appreciate good wine. They have an impressive number of wines by the glass and beers on tap plus great food. The prices are really fair for such great food and drinks. I've been there twice since I found it last week. I loved the arugula, prosciutto, ricotta, mozz & onion pizza. I've also tried the Greek salad, grilled romaine and sampled many of the excellent cheeses. I'll be back regularly for sure! For the suggestion box: I'd love to see some quince paste, honey or grapes on the cheese plate depending on the cheeses selected. read more

Very expensive but absolutely worth it! This is me and my partners favorite choice for date night. Small but great wine and craft beer selection. And the tapas...oh how I have dreams about this food. The last time we went was easily the best. Their tomato soup is always rich and delicious and comes with a hearty swirl of pesto (yummy!). We had the patatas bravas, which are usually pretty good, but this time they were cooked to perfection and had an amazing, gently spicy flavor to them. But the show-stopper was definitely the tenderloin. Get the tenderloin. Period. Only about the size of a filet mignon but soooo delicious. And if you feel like you still have some room left, go nextdoor for some frozen yogurt afterwards. The only downside to this restaurant is that they order very limited amounts of product, so they are often out of their best dishes. read more

An unexpected treat. Not a "tapas" guy or a "wine bar" guy usually but this restaurant had a homey European feel that turned a rainy evening into a perfect night. Great beer and wine list. Came here for a birthday, was truly excellent. We had a starter of mussels which were perfectly cooked and so ever savory. My main was a perfectly cooked raw tenderloin. The real driver though was the on point service. The wait staff was timely without being pestering. Very unpretentious and extremely kind. read more

I love this place. The tapas are great - yummy local to New England ingredients where possible and friendly service. They have a nice wine list and the cider tastes just like "your fourth grade visit to an apple orchard (quote credit: our waiter)." The atmosphere is comfy and cozy and they use spices for some of the tapas which is wonderful. My favorite menu items on my visits thus far have been the wild mushroom risotto, cheese plates, tequila shrimp and rich gelato with cacao nibs. read more

I love this place. Huge wine selection, good food (we only had a pizza and salad so I can't elaborate more than "it was good"). But Brava has just the *best* atmosphere of any restaurant I've been to in a long time. It's very relaxed and homey. I couldn't really explain it when I was there but once you sit down you just wanted to stay all night. The place is just that relaxing. The owner happened to be behind the bar the night I was there and he's a really interesting guy with an extraordinary knowledge of wine. I look forward to a time when I can visit again and try more of the food and just hang out and drink wine and chat. This is a not-to-be-missed place when you are in town. Loved it. Great atmosphere. Staff was very nice and friendly. Great help with the menu. We had the meatballs which were outstanding. We also had the prosciutto, nudja sausage with the Brie-like cheese and the tete de moine. Quantity was great and it was delicious!!! Loved the food and the service. Does not get any better. Went for a drink, and stayed for dinner. Sat at the bar and ordered more and more food until we were full. They stay open late, which makes them unique in Lenox, and for that alone we love them. Add the wonderful little plates and good small pizzas, and we are fans. I especially love the almonds, fried chick peas and olives. Also a delicious salad that combines arugula, dried apricots, Marcona almonds and little cubes of cheese. They have a great selection of wines by the glass and a variety of beers and ales on tap. Friendly service and a lively bar scene make this place a favorite of ours. It is a bit pricey - and we wish they would have a bit of bread with the salads (I think you can buy garlic bread) but we forgive all because they are open late and we can drop in after our theater at Shakespeare & Co. read more

We stumbled upon this little treasure after driving three hours for a wake. We were eight thirsty, hungry folks. Brava delivered nice martinis, hustled to find us seating, and our hosts were very gracious. We feasted on three different artisan pizzas, delectable lamb chops and spicy meatballs. We had a really delicious meal here. We started with the spicy fried chick peas and calamari, and then a really fabulous pizza topped with a lamb sausage and kale. It was unique, vibrant, and the flavors complemented each other beautifully. They have an extensive wine menu, but I don't drink wine (so I can't speak to that), along with beer and spirits. The service was excellent!!! We'll be back to try the other special pizza (which also sounded yummy making for a tough choice: beef sirloin, horseradish sauce and arugula). Came across this place by chance, and so glad we did!! Everything about it was perfect! The atmosphere was lively, but not overwhelmingly noisy or hectic. The food was beyond amazing (....and I'm vegan. They still had a nice selection for me!) Their beer & wine selection was massive. And I can't say enough about the service! Brava is amazing! My wife and I happened upon it last year and, in addition to Tanglewood, it tops our list of Things We Can't Wait To Do In Lenox. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The service is friendly and welcoming. And the food is out of this world. We ordered the beet and goat cheese salad. The temperature, acidity and earthiness balance in this salad was phenomenal. It melted in our mouths. We also ordered the portobello mushroom with pear and goat cheese. It was equally beautiful. For dessert we shared pear and ginger bread pudding that was exquisite. And the really good news is that we had the same level of appreciation last year when we first tried Brava. Brava is consistently the best place to eat / drink in Lenox. read more

I came here with my parents while we were staying in the area. We were so impressed, we returned the next night. As soon as we walked in, we felt by the intimate yet casual atmosphere that Brava would be a success. We ordered the pizzas and all were absolutely delicious. They also had a great wine list and very attentive and helpful staff. The following evening we returned to sample the tapas. It was all wonderfully fresh, delicately prepared and delectable. What a wonderful place. We are coming back here every time we visit Lenox, without a doubt. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, the staff are wonderful and attentive. So many wines to choose from, and we loved the wine flights and the pick your own cheese and charcuterie plates. We stopped here for drinks prior to having dinner at Nudel. And we were so sad to have to leave for our reservation because we were having such a nice time chatting with the locals and out of towners. Next time we are skipping Nudel and just spending the night at Brava. This is going to be our go to place from now on. read more

Awesome little spot. Brava is the perfect place when looking for a quiet and cozy place to grab a drink and have a bite. Their wine menu is extensive, but it is their beer selection that keeps bringing me back. Constantly updated and constantly full of beers I have never heard of, much less tried. Their food menu always changes a lot, which I love. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This place also can get quite lively at times. We were so happy to find a restaurant in Lenox that serves after 10pm, so we walked into Brava willing to take what we could get. Brava was absolutely terrific. The owner, or one of the owners in any case, runs the front of the house and is a caring, relaxed, and competent server. He said the restaurant is new since June 2012. Small and spare with a relaxed urban vibe, our food was really outstanding. The concept is a small menu of nibblies and small plates and salads and pizzas, with an extensive list of wine and beer. The food that we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced - a roasted romaine salad with fresh anchovies, crisp irregular croutons, and silky, flavorful roasted red peppers...a salad of firm sauteed potatoes, crispy tasso ham, and cabbage slaw...a small selection of lightly pickled, crisp vegetables....a pizza of kale and merguez with a thick, flavorful, charred crust. We ate the leftover pizza cold the next afternoon and debated whether hot or cold was preferable. Sorry to go on about the pizza again but it tasted like the best deep dish pizza that I ever had in Chicagoland. The wines and beers were expensive but top quality. read more

This was our second visit here in the past month. We are not from the area but had the opportunity to stop by on our way north and then again on the way south. Our first time we were drawn to the high Yelp rating and the fact they were open on a Monday night. We waited at 5 for them to open.We were the first ones in the place for quite some time. There was some viewing going on in town that included a long line of people and we guessed everyone in town was at that instead of at Bravas. People began to drift in just as we were finishing up. Everything about the evening was perfect...the food, the wine, the beer and the service. My husband and I love the casual nature of the place. To me if a waitress forgets something....it's not the end of the world. We actually had that happen on our second visit but the waitress was new and it was no big deal and it was just dilled cucumbers. We get that people need to train and make mistakes....in this case there was no harm and the food overall did NOT disappoint. The two bruschettas with mozzarella are our favorites. The first time I had the scallops with some balsamic glaze...delicious! On our second visit we shared the risotta which changes daily and it was very nice. Overall we would make a special stop in the area just to go here in the future. read more
