I wanted a Kubota. The "local" Kubota dealer (40 mi away) was my 1st stop. I gave them my parameters and my budget. Over 2 months they gave me quotes that were too high and not close to what I wanted. They weren't truthful with me and tried to only sell me what THEY had in their stock. I was driving north on Inst 5 with my wife, discussing my frustration when she said, "... well, are they the only Kubota dealer?" On a whim, she Googled Kubota dealers near me. Up popped Nor Cal Tractor Sales ... (these guys are all part of the same company) ... in Redding CA and they were 10 mi ahead and right off the highway. We walked in, dressed for "Lake Time" and their sales rep (Kris B) was immediately accommodating. I told him my saga and what I had been looking for. Model numbers etc. That's where I learned I'd been misdirected. Kris pointed out the models I was asking about were older and no longer available. They didn't even have them in their rental fleet any longer. Then he showed me the new model ... the one the other guy told was so new they couldn't even get one for 6 mos. ... he had 4 of them. I had given him my budget already, remember? He came in $4k under!!! Then ... cherry on top ... he delivered it for $200!!!

I call the Monday before my reservation and the person I spoke to said they didn't have a truck so I questioned why I even made a reservation with them if they didn't reserve a truck for me. She proceeded to tell me she would call me on Wednesday to let me know if they had a truck. On Wednesday she called and said yes they would have a truck I said what time can I pick it up? We open at 7 AM I said OK well, I will not be there that early but that I would be there around 8 or 9. We drove 30 miles to get to enterprise truck rental by 8:30 only to find out that the truck was being maintenance. Nobody bothered to call and tell me that it would not be ready. We left there and went to breakfast came back at 10 o'clock. Waited in their parking lot for about 20 minutes and I went in and they proceeded to tell me that the truck had issues and that they would possibly have a different truck at 11 o'clock. Mind you all this time I have movers meeting us at our storage units which I was in contact with and constantly changing our meeting time with them. The lack of communication with this company and their inability to pick up a phone and call me and make me aware of these issues is the most frustrating part of dealing with them. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. We ended up going with U-Haul right next door, we were in and out in 10 minutes with a truck. Moving is hard enough, don't make it any harder by renting from enterprise.

This company is not honest when it comes to paying their drivers. Or in communicating when there…read moreis a discrepancy in the pay check. No effort to solve the problem. I am in a battle with them at the moment trying to collect over $2.000 in pay shortage for May and June. I have supplied them with spread sheets showing where the mistakes are. This is what they are doing to those who drive for them and I find it appalling to expect their drivers to sit for free at the Paradise clean up. This policy is not in the contract, was never told it was going to be a policy by email, text. My dump truck driver is paid by the HOUR. This is how they are cheating him. You are dispatch for 8 am , You are there early at their staging area to be sent to a street in Paradise to be loaded at your dispatch time. BUT At 7:30 they call your name and send you to a street to get loaded of fire debris, BUT for some reason the ground crew is not ready or has a problem with loading your truck. So you do not get loaded until 9 am . Since you did not get loaded with in 30 minutes of your original dispatch time of 8 am you loose that early start time of 30 minutes and are not paid for your time OF WAITING. Even though they are the ones who sent you to the job site . They started the hourly clock of pay. No driver should have to work for free of their time. Even though I have email the proper people to look into this over 60 days ago. Never heard one word. Emailed once again, Then was told by the person who handles pay discrepancy Dan Palmer Jr. is the one who will handle this after I mention I have been in contact with Good Fellows company over the matter. That was 2 weeks ago and have not heard one word from him. Have talked to a few other brokers and this is not a common practice of not paying a driver for ALL his time. If they are cheating you of all your pay. DO NOT let them get away with it. Does any one have any information as to who over see's the broker companies, or is it just a wild west with them
