Just popped in for a quick bite after getting off the plane on my way to Branson, and I thought I'd give something local a shot since we don't have a Braum's back home in GA. Honestly, for fast food, it was pretty good! It might not reach the heights of a Culver's burger, but it definitely hit the spot. The cashier was friendly, which made the experience even better. The place could've used a little TLC in the cleanliness department, but hey, I didn't spot any creepy crawlers or mold, so I considered that a win! As far as the fast food burgers go I think the. ryan's offerings have a better flavor and texture than their larger competitors. For the price of $15.76 it would be nice not to get shorted on my large drink with easy ice nor my french fries. I used to work for a fast food industry and if you have to short your customers on there food and drinks. Then you don't need to be in business. You need to figure out which employees is taking most of your food cost. You know the people getting free meals. all I ordered was the number two with a large fry and a large Sprite easy ice because my teeth aren't the best. Also a two piece strip. I'm happy I at least got both my chicken strips. I won't be coming here again, but I also don't wanna put this out here to bring down the traffic I just hope it gets changed and the restaurant becomes better. Don't expect your order to be correct when you go through the drive through today. The drive person didn't check to make sure my order was correct before entering it in and we double checked at the window. By the time I got my order they still didn't correct the order. South National Location only! I love Braums, unfortunately this location possesses unprofessional employees. I ordered a triple turtle and asked for extra fudge and caramel, I enjoy it heavy ya know. I get 2/3 through my sundae, and realize there isn't extra fudge/caramel. I go to the front and ask for a small cup, due to my needs not being met. Instead of my request being met, I have someone say to me that " I gave you extra and didnt charge you for it", I politely responded saying I didn't mind paying extra...for the extra amount I initially requested. So, I end up paying almost $2 for two huge cups of fudge and caramel, when all I wanted was an amount to finish the one scoop of ice cream I had left. On top of this I just watched someone wait up front for two minutes, not get noticed and walk out. This review could have been avoided, if you had some half decent customer service. read more

Decent burgers! Our order was exactly what I was expecting. The prices are a bit high, but that is common across the board for all restaurants, so it's as expected. The only thing I would have liked is better chicken tenders. I would not get those again. Also, instead of paying about $5.50 for a large shake, I should have gotten a half gallon of ice cream, and made my own at home and had more ice cream for the money. I've had the pleasure and displeasure of coming to the Braum's location. While the first trip was amazing and I was able to get a perfectly blended mint chocolate chip shake the last two trips have been less than pleasant. This second trip, the shake came out way too thick but I figured it was a fluke. Today makes my third and final trip to this Braum's. In order to ensure that the shake was made like the first one I explained that I would like the shake extra blended. I paid and sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes until a worker came to the second window stating that they would get the order ready now while I watched another worker lean against the counter. When they gave me the shake it was literally mint chocolate chip ice cream and was not blended. I am very disappointed and am hopeful for a new shake place. read more

I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich combo that included a drink and crinkle cut French fries. It came out quickly. The food was hot and fresh. The workers were nice and friendly. Who in their right mind has a restaurant but no lemonade. I love braums, but i am very disappointed in their beverage choice. I was very depressed when i was redirected to a limeade instead of the lemonade i originally wanted. i can confidently say this ruined my whole day, and im not sure how i will recover from my misfortunes. Braums has always been my favorite and go to place, it has a great atmosphere, kind people, short wait time, and overall amazing food. They got our order wrong in the drive through. When noticed when got home that only part of the order got in the bag, we called up and the manager on duty asked if we would like to come and get the food and or get a refund. We opted for a refund. When we came in to get the refund the manager that was on duty wouldn't even go look for the note that was left(her name was Alicia). She said they don't issue refunds. She started yelling over us when we tried to explain what happened and asked her to go look for the note. She just kept yelling they don't do refunds. We asked for the owner/gm and she just said go find the phone number on the wall to call. read more

My family and I have been to the S. National location several times and always a positive experience until this last visit. After seeing that the ranch dressing had MSG listed in the ingredients which I am allergic to I asked for a different kind that doesn't contain MSG. When I requested a different kind the lady Donna at the counter was extremely rude telling me to go get the ranch dressing and give it back to her before she would give me different kind. Then to make matters worse I needed more dressing as the salad was an entree not just the small side salad. I go back to the counter requesting another packet to another employee and as they were handing it to me.. here comes Donna rudely snatching it out of her hand telling her to charge me for it. It was going to be .80 cents which I wasn't going to go back to the table for my wallet or bank card. Needless to say we won't be back for awhile. read more

Wife and I both got burgers off a coworker's recommendation. So how was it? For me: I got a standard deluxe burger, fries, and Dr pepper. For her: she got a sweet and spicy Gouda burger, fries, and diet Dr pepper. The burgers and fries were decent. The toppings were good quality and had some good flavor. The meat patties were the same consistency as a McDonald's patty but with a better flavor and definitely fresher. The fries were satisfactory but honestly that's not a high bar to reach. They were definitely warm and fresh which was really nice. One thing that we noticed was that my wife's burger had 3 patties and mine only had one. I don't believe this was intentional since I thought I saw the sign had 2 patties on the burger I ordered so I think they accidentally gave her my extra patty. Because of that her burger had an overwhelming amount of meat so the other flavors got drowned out because of it. The restaurant itself was clean but horribly dated, but in an endearing fort of way. Think 90s taco bell style. There was a very kind woman in the lobby doing some cleaning and restocking who made some friendly chatter with me while I was filling my drink and after we ordered I walked up to ask if our food would be brought to us or called out. She told me that they call out the number and then asked what number I had she then told me she would bring our food when our number was called she was worried we wouldn't hear them call out our number at the table we were at (she was right btw). I'm terribly upset that I didn't catch her name but she was working at this location on 7/21/23 @ 6pm. It's for that reason alone that I give the 5 star rating. Overall score: 6/10 read more

I ordered a hamburger meal and I asked for large fries but instead they gave me small fries. I also asked for a large Dr Pepper with very little ice and much to my surprise when I got the drink it was completely full of ice. It was pretty much all ice. And to make matters worse it was 90% carbonation with zero syrup in it and it tasted horrible. I don't understand what the confusion is considering I was only the second person in line and they charged me for large fries and a large drink how could they screw this up with only two people in line? It wasn't even a busy time of day it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon on a Sunday. They have repeatedly screwed my order up to the point that I am not ever going back here again. This isn't the first time I've been at this location but it's definitely the last because they keep screwing up simple orders. it's not difficult when you have the meals numbered I am really very simple requests. Not to mention that all the requests are printed on the receipt so all you have to do is read the screen and you can't screw it up but yet they still do. read more

This use to be a decent place but the service and food has gone down hill bad. Tonight they put my ice cream in a cup with a lid that did not fit. By the time I got it home it was everywhere. I called and they hung up on me three times. Finally someone answered and said hello. I said is this brains and she said yes. She said she was the manager and argued with me saying that they do not have kids to fit those cups. She finally agreed to replace it. I arrived there 2 minutes before closing with customers still inside and they locked the doors and refused to remake my ice cream. I was shocked to say the least. Part restaurant, part grocery store...all delish! Mainly love Braums for the ice cream! Peppermint on a waffle cone! Their ice cream is super creamy and full of flavor- can taste the difference! The decor is a bit dated but it is clean. In addition to the ice cream, the also offer a variety of burgers and sides. AND it is part grocery store where they sell a select dairy products such as milk, yogurt, eggs, creamer, cheese, etc. Looks like they also stock a few boxed goodies like cereal and crackers. Amazing burgers. Great prices. The #2 (bacon cheeseburger) was very very good. The perfect mix of greasy and yummy with a good mix of fresh veggies and crispy bacon. The fried were a little undercooked for my taste but the burger was the main attraction and was delicious. read more

The two women working the windows on May 25, 2013 were beyond rude. First of all I tried to ask for separate orders and the girl just couldn't understand that request. After slowly telling her once more that I wanted an order for me and a separate order for my passenger. Then I was told they don't do separate orders, which is a lie because I've done it before. Then I ended up paying for myself and my passenger. Also I had asked for 2 scoops of cookie dough in a waffle cone and received chocolate chip. Then my passenger was supposed to receive a scoop of deep chocolate and a scoop of hazelnut chocolate in a cup. The lady kept saying chocolate to which I repeated Deep Chocolate 2 or 3 times before she finally got it. Then ended up receiving her deep chocolate and hazelnut chocolate in a cone. Needless to say we were not happy especially after getting the ice cream was thrust out the window with a sarcastic have a nice night. I was so angry I couldn't enjoy my treat.
