Stopped here for ice cream. They were so nice. They let my wife try about every flavor. The ice cream is great and not very expensive. They have a store attached with about a million containers of ice cream. This is an old chain along Route 66. We saw them along the drive and I'm glad we stopped. read more

passing thru on our road trip, and never being here before, we got the special dbl cheeseburger and was total impressed. it was juicy and not cook to death, like most fast food places over cook the hamburger patties. The frys were hot and crispy... it was pretty busy but we got our food pretty quick. it was very interesting that they had a small dairy store inside with fresh items. very nice but dated restaurant. I was traveling to Arizona and I stopped for a meal. Because of the pandemic I would not go into a restaurant so I was trying variety of drive through restaurants. This one was very nice and very interesting. There were many of them in the area and I finally got a chance to try it. They have the typical burgers and fast food stuff. I tried the chicken sandwich and some fries and a shake. There are a lot of shakes in this southwestern area and after seeing so many signs for them I finally tried one. It was very good and not huge which was nice. The chicken sandwich was tender and juicy and tasted like chicken. It was real chicken and not ground up chicken. The fries are OK. The people were very nice and friendly and helpful which has been generally my experience in my travels. If I were to go to another fast food restaurant I may try this one again. read more

Eli is an example of a do-it-all kind of guy. He is the Swiss Army knife of fast food, doing everything just to satisfy a customer. On my visit to this fine establishment, Eli took my order and I sat down to wait for my number to be called. I noticed it was taking a while but when I looked up I saw Eli bringing my food to my table himself. As many of the locals know, you are supposed to get your own food to bring it to your table when your number is called. Eli is the definition of hard work and determination. I really hope this young man gets a managing job because he has worked his tail end off for it. Food was also freshly made by Eli himself. Just a fine young man and we need more workers like him nowadays. read more

I had never heard of Braum's before the hotel receptionist told me to try it for a quick meal. I was impressed by the novelty of a restaurant combined with a mini grocery store, something I had not seen since my childhood back in Indiana. The burgers, shake and fries that I had were all a very good value for the price, nothing super groundbreaking, but for being a $5.50 combo meal, it was great. The only drawback is the shake size is a bit small. The staff were all very friendly. read more

It should literally be zero stars because we didn't actually go...after seeing the giant billboard by the highway advertising that they had bus/RV parking we decided to stop for lunch. Braums is typically consistent across all of their stores. This visit wasn't any different, except that their bathroom didn't have a changing table. Obviously this isn't a restaurant requirement, but for traveling families driving down I-40, it's definitely expected for a restaurant right off the interstate to be more family accommodating. Ugh! This place needs a thorough cleaning. Soda area was a mess and needed to be wiped down. Tables were dirty. The counter help have no personality. My husband ordered the chicken strip special, which came with a chocolate pudding cup...What the heck? I ordered the spinach/romaine salad with grilled chicken, strawberries, blueberries. It was okay. Guess they can't mess up the salads because I'm sure they are trucked in prepackaged. The little grocery area was tidy and well stocked. Again, a woman with zero personality or customer service skills was the cashier there. We've eaten at Braum's in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma, but this one gets first place in the DUD category. Ridiculous! This was my favorite new restaurant but then they got really stingy. I asked simply to sub pickles for lettuce. It's $1. ALSO this is the third time that they have upped me to a combo and charged me the difference when I only asked for a sandwich. It's corporate policy to sneak that by your customer. read more

Nice clean store. The employees are super nice but, they need clean aprons. Didn't matter what they were doing their navy aprons looked FILITHY. Very bad image. I have to disagree with the earlier review that the burgers have a bad aftertaste. The burgers are actually okay. Nothing special though. Just what you would get in an average Burger King for example. Don't expect more than that. Same is true for the restaurant interior. Kind of an usual fast food spot. Ice for the drinks comes out of an ice machine (not like mentioned before out of a box on the floor). And they got my orders right and waiting time wasn't long. What's quite good is their ice cream. Big scoops, good flavour and structure. A lot of customers seem to come just for the ice cream and nothing else. read more

Great shakes- we had the banana pecan and the butter pecan. The chicken fried steak sandwich is also good. We try to stop at a Braum's whenever we travel through Oklahoma. read more

I brought my family here for a quick bite on the way to Texas. It was after 9, so they weren't busy at all. Incredibly slow service. The poor girl at the register was brand new and nobody was teaching her what to do. Our burgers were just thrown together. They were out of ketchup, lids for the cups, trash was over flowing and the soap in the bathroom was almost out. They need a better team leader and need to be taught some team working skills because no one was communicating at all. read more

To start with, it was tricky to get to and upon entering it was not the cleanest place I have been. The staff was less than interested in helping. Little more than grunts on ordering. I usually don't give low reviews ..but the customer service from the girl behind the counter was terrible. I came in at 4:27 to order the happy hour twist cone special for $1 ... I pointed at the sign when I said what I requested ...she made a large instead of a small and then rang it up for $2.38 ... I said I wanted the special ... To which she said she made a large... so instead of just bringing up the specials she wanted to transfer the soft serve ice cream into the smaller cone... by the time she attempted to do that then go back to the register it was 4:30 and it wouldn't ring up $1. So she just looks at me with a blank look on her face do you still want it??? I'm looking at the clock that says 4:30 and saying yes for a dollar,i eat a Braums Everytime I'm in OK,TX or AR ....
