I had heard she was from the Pacific Northwest, and I was so happy to converse with someone from the same area I moved here from. I've been here two more times since then, and I've been super happy with everything I received! The employees have also been super nice and polite, even as I had to place my order by showing text on my phone due to no voice! They have some awesome coffee creations with several offerings for milk and milk alternatives. They also have smoothies, energy drinks, and tea. I've seen some yummy looking cookies that I've missed, but mark my words: I WILL get me a cookie one of these days! The dual drive-through reminds me so much of my coffee shops in the PNW. They're covered too, so you're shielded from the weather. I'm honestly very happy to have a real coffee shop in town that reminds me of Washington. I'm still homesick, but it helps brighten my day!

However, our selections were cooked fresh-to-order (which took a bit long to arrive) and were a cut above typical fast food. I ordered a mushroom-and-Swiss burger with all the fixings and deep-fried cheese curls (mostly to find out what they are!), while my husband got a pulled pork sandwich and fries. Both meals were very tasty. We REALLY also wanted some of their creamy frozen custard but we were too full. Not to worry, we got it to go & put it in our RV's mini-freezer. This was truly a special treat for us later on. Excellent Butter Pecan! We didn't have any kids with us but they had adorable car-shaped containers for their kid's meals. We also appreciated the friendly locals who were very friendly with us. Breaking weather warnings were on the screen of the television in the restaurant -- but we had no clue where the affected areas were in relation to where we were in Elk City. They reassured us that we were out of the danger zone for tornadoes but that we might experience high winds. For any Harvest Host RVers out there, 66 ToGo is a participating host. The sites are level and plentiful, and the host was quick to confirm our reservation.
