The ED staff…read moreare highly incompetent and have no empathy, the nurses on 3rd are awful to the laboratory staff and treat their patients like ragdolls, don't get me started on phlebotomy. Understaffed, overworked, underpaid. They perform unsafe practices and sweep it under the rug. They ruin blood specimens, continue with requisitions that are not properly filled out, there have been multiple instances of staff pouring blood from one tube to another and allowing it to be resulted. This could kill someone and is considered assault. The lab supervisor picks favorites and lets them do whatever they want without repercussions. One staff member specifically bullies and forces work on other staff while they sit and do nothing. Reporting means nothing but retaliation on the one who reported it. This hospital is severely unsafe and should be shut down.
