It's no wonder why people love this place! The moment I walked in I was digging the vibe. My friend explained how the menu works and Ryan and Nate took it from there! They both greeted me and helped to prepare my salad. They truly brought a smile to my face and a good laugh; they even smiled for the camera! Everything looked so fresh, bright colors everywhere! Sure Brassica food is tasty. Three stars for these reasons. 1. Value for money. My lunch was $20. It came in a cardboard bowl and a plastic cup. The protein servings are small. I get it high quality stuff. You should match the food with the serrving style and environment. 2. Environment Brassica is a bear to park around. While you may say 'that's not their fault' I disagree. If you are a foot trraffic place, ok I get it. Inside- pretty loud. Small. You need to navigate the sinGle corridor for any other person. While heading to Indianapolis recently we stopped in Columbus where I first had Brassica. My Wife has been raving about this place for a couple years now so we had to go for dinner. We decided to get a Chicken Pita, a Brisket Pita and Brassica Fries. We shared all three but I ended up eating the Brisket mostly. I've got to say I was skeptical at first since I don't usually go for cauliflower, cabbage, radish and cucumbers as my first choice but we decided to get just about everything the offered in the pitas. In town for business and the hotel reception recommended this place for lunch. I must say, if I lived here I'd eat here every single day. To put it into perspective, I've eaten lunch here 2 days in a row... I'm only here for 4. Enjoyed a late lunch on Wednesday at Brassica. If you haven't been, it is basically fast-casual Chipotle of Mediterranean food and it is awesome!! Price: totally reasonable, especially for short north Food & drink: high quality and high flavor food offerings. Falafel was amazing!!! They don't shy away from spices but it's flavorful not overwhelming (I am not a high spice person but loved it). Tasty soda machine and lemonade offering Service: logistically not a great set up (line quickly backs up to the door) but they are super fast so this is not an issue. Brassica is the restaurant I tell all my coworkers about when we're in Columbus. If you're looking for a high quality healthy meal, this place hits the spot. There are a ton of veggie options and they are all super flavorful. I love the sauce options as well. They didn't have any lemons out near the iced tea (I don't think they ever have them) when I stopped in, but the girl at the counter graciously offer to cut me some.
