The man who runs the storage facility, Bill, was very professional, friendly, personable and was very helpful. I had called a few minutes before their closing time and Bill stayed on the phone and worked with me past their closing time to assist me in completing my order. The price was reasonable, very clean facility, well-lit after hours, clean bathroom for customers, and they had flatbed dollies in the halls for their customers to use. Bill also recommended to me their in-house moving company, Distinctive Moving and Storage, to move my belongings from the storage unit to my home garage. The move from the storage unit to my home garage was flawless. After dealing with a nightmare out of state move for months, it was a welcome change to work with Bill and not experience any issues whatsoever. Great example of top notch customer service. Beware that they clearly state that non-approved vehicles/persons can "tailgate in" behind another vehicle to access the property and access YOUR belongings illegally. They state they are not monitoring this activity, despite the massive security camera presence. This issue could have been alleviated had they simply asked for a photo ID of the tow truck driver claiming to be ME!!! Or calling ME (who pays the monthly storage fee) to verify I was having said vehicle towed away. But no! It never happened. "Please understand this, the tow truck company could have tailgated in, took the vehicle and tailgated out, this is something I would have had no control of, after speaking to your brother last night I feel that one way or another the Blue Cadillac was being towed off our property yesterday with or without my knowledge. One last thing, the towing company did not need our assistance, they knew exactly where to go to, which car to pick up and tow away, also they knew where to take the vehicle." I use that word very lightly, because he wasn't helpful at all. It took over 30 mins to pick up the truck that I had reserved online. He was completely rude and wasn't in a rush to help at all! Coming here, you better not be in a rush, because he moves at his own pace. Not only was the gas tank empty (contract said it was 3/4 full) but I had to go inside and grab my own dollies that we supposed to be in my rental. Then later that day I called to get some questions answered and he was completely rude on the phone. I will never use this place again. Public storage is a big company, so they have a more developed app, which can open the door to the…read morebuilding if you're right in front if it. But that's where the pros end. Their customer service line is nearly impossible to reach, they don't have the amenities that Cubesmart offered when they managed the building (free use of moving truck!), and they consistently up the rent without notice or remorse. Since this place transitioned from Cubesmart, the prices have gone up an INSANE amount. My bill for the storage unit I moved in for was $60/month and once Public Storage took over, it went up to about $100. i wanted to get a slightly larger unit (old one is 10x7 new one is 10x12) to house things temporarily while we moved and it was about $150, which I thought was a ~little~ expensive but went for it anyway for convenience since the old one is in the same building. The rent for just the newer unit is $200 dollars now, due to Public Storage steadily increasing rent rates, and I'm trying to get tf out of this place.

We stored household furnishing at the 6441 Westgate Road location for 3 months due to construction…read moredelays. When we picked up our items, things had water stains and/or were still wet. Items were covered with mouse droppings and cockroach droppings. We opened everything in the driveway of our new home because they were infested with roaches. We washed/sanitized the things that were washable before bringing them indoors but many items went straight into the builder's dumpster. When I closed my account, I went back to the unit and took photos of the wet floor and all the mouse/roach droppings. Totally disgusting.
