Ever eat something sooooo good you don't want it to end??? Your eyes are like half closed & your just "mmm mmm mmm"-ing your way through it enjoying every bite. THATS what this burrata, prosciutto, pesto, pine nuts (I think) & greens dish is all about!! I need 10. Had them at a Glastonbury event.

I first experienced this food truck at an event in Southington on Center St. there were so many good options, and then I came across this Italian food truck, yes please! I started out with the Burrata salad with a bed of greens, prosciutto, pine nuts, tomatoes, some pesto and fig. It was to die for, perfect combination of flavors. I also got a fresh rigatoni which was also well sauced and al dente perfection. I actually went back and got more to go. It is hard to find perfectly cooked pasta out at restaurants, let alone a food truck. If I could follow this truck all around CT all day I would, but I have to work for a living so I can eat more burrata.

Best Italian food truck in the state of Connecticut!! They offer a ton of "share-ables" but give them a try and I promise you..you won't want to share!! Everything is homemade & homemade from the heart! Mike & his team provide impeccable service and even better food! Never been disappointed!

This place knocked my socks off. I don't tho m we ever have to travel to Italy again, because this was spot on amazing. The food truck was right outside Hog River brewery which was incredibly convenient for me, personally. When I saw it was Italian I was skeptical because Italian out of a food truck sounds like a heavy, fried mess. But wow. This surpassed everything I was expecting and more. I got gnocchi with sausage, sage and idk what else, but let me tell you. It was like being right back in Italy. It was bursting with flavor, and just amazing. As much as I loved it, I had to sacrifice a bite over to my husband.... but only because I wanted to try his. He got the Burrata with pesto............ o m g. I can't even explain the freshness and quality of the burrata. It was like nothing I've had before. I fully plan to follow this food truck wherever it leads me, and am going to try to eat my way through the menu as often as possible. If you ever see this truck, DO NOT pass it up. Even if you aren't hungry. Always stop. Every time. No matter what. Even if there's a fire.

Delicious! I got the Burrata Salad (hold the prosciutto), and it was fantastic! The burrata was a wet ball of heaven, the pesto was the star, perfect tomatoes, cucumbers, crushed pistachios, a sweet fig balsamic....YES! So fresh, so good. I also tried my friends Pea and mozzarella ararcinis, which were delicious. But $6 for 3 balls, and I would not be full. But they were cheesy, and crispy, and the red sauce was great (I would have asked for extra sauce, just cause I like it saucy). With the small plates you get 3 items. I caught up with them in Hartford near the conventions center, but I know they hit up New Park Brewery and the hog brewery, and Wethersfield market...so they get around. And they were quick!

Last night while enjoying the live music and beers at Dudleytown, we were in the mood for something to munch on. Conveniently, the menu for Saults was right on our table. The menu features, salads, tacos, burgers and pizzas. We got two pizzas. The Truff Mushroom and the Pepperoni. The pizzas are very small and they come in just one size. Upon ordering they gave us a buzzer to indicate when our pizzas would be ready. After around a half hour wait, they were ready. The Mushroom pizza was loaded with mushrooms, ricotta, fontina and mozzarella cheeses. The crust is thin and this pizza is delicious. The mushrooms and the assortment of cheeses make this a dream topping. It was fragrant, crunchy and so flavorful. I didn't try the Pepperoni pizza, it was also a hit amongst our group. Saults Electric Cuisine offers tasty options in their menu. I wouldn't hesitate to stop by when in the area in the future.

This is the second time I have bought something from this truck. Where I live has food trucks come…read moresome nights and the first time I tried this place, the wait was a long time. They were supposed to be here from 4-8 and I didn't time how long it was taking but I went up there twice and they claimed that they were waiting for the rice to finish. I probably was one of the first customers so I figured they might not have been ready and they had given me a free soda and a free dessert and extra pork so I wasn't too irritated about the situation. Plus the people who work the truck are very nice. Today, I was incredibly annoyed because I should have just cooked like I planned to. My food would have gotten done faster than they boxed up the food I bought. I paid almost 60 dollars including a tip to wait almost an hour for two pork bowls and rice. I wasn't given a wait time when I ordered the food so I just went to sit in my car outside my building since I figured it wouldn't take that long. After half an hour I decided to go see why the thing they gave me hadn't buzzed yet. When I went over, they were chatting up other customers having a great time. I asked about my order and they claimed it had been called already, so I figured it was just a mistake, but then someone else said they were still waiting on one more pork bowl. So I went inside, put away my groceries, washed my dishes, took out the trash and finally when I returned the food was done. If they ever come back here, I won't be spending my money with them, as nice as they are, they have held up my time twice and the food isn't worth my time. Oh and all I got for all that wait was a "God bless you" so I hope the Lord blesses them with better time management and that we never meet again.

Decades earlier, Sneideman's wife said that he should make his own restaurant called "Skyscraper", in reference to New York City. Sneideman didn't end up opening a restaurant, but he did spend over 25 years in the culinary field where he spent time managing fast-casual restaurants. Eventually he decided that he wanted to work for himself and an opportunity for a new food truck came along. He finally had the chance to use the name "Skyscraper", and the focus of the menu became New York-style deli sandwiches. Many of the sandwiches feature corned beef or pastrami, such as 'Reubens' and 'Rachels'. Skyscraper Sandwiches can usually be found parked at breweries, wineries, farmers' markets, and various festivals throughout Connecticut. Sneideman is often assisted by members of his own family. My family and I sampled some of Skyscraper's delicious sandwiches this past autumn. We were visiting Long View Ciderhouse in Southington and Skyscraper Sandwiches was the scheduled food truck that day. I can't say no to a good Jewish-style deli sandwich. After looking over the menu, I ordered a "Turkey Cranberry Melt" (hand-carved roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, tomatoes, melted Swiss on grilled rye), my wife ordered the "Reuben" (pastrami, Swiss cheese, truck sauce, and sauerkraut on grilled rye), and our older son ordered the "Pastrami Grilled Cheese" (pastrami, melted Swiss, sweet onion jam on grilled rye). These were huge sandwiches and very filling! The meats were delicious as well as the rye bread that they use. The sandwiches paired well with our cider flights. I really hope that I run into Skyscraper Sandwiches again!

What a terrifically constructed sandwich with great ingredients. The rye bread was awesome and expertly grilled. The turkey was outstanding and good juicy. And check out the pics and see the unique way they grooved the turkey. Loved it. The Swiss - melted! The coleslaw tasted fresh and provided the needed crunchy texture. My one small note - I could have used more Truck Sauce (said in a Christopher Walken voice). It was a bit hard to pick up with the substantial stack of other ingredients. Skyscraper indeed! 4.5 Stars with a round up to 5. I'm watching you Skyscraper Truck

BEST! 5- Food Truck?…read moreRestaurants are on notice ... this food truck is out to take your business. The food here bridges the gap between "restaurant" and "home" Indian food. Bold flavors that also allow subtle aromatics to shine! No wonder the people in line came from Worcester, MA to Manchester, CT just for this food. Beats 90% of the Indian fare in CT. And I only say 90% to reserve for others I haven't yet tried.

**Mayabazaar: Creative Concept, Underwhelming Execution**…read more You can't miss the Mayabazaar food truck when you spot it--the exterior is a creative mashup of Indian cinema meets Marvel, with Bollywood and Tollywood actors' faces photoshopped onto the Avengers. It's quirky, fun, and definitely gets your attention. We went in with high hopes and hungry stomachs. Here's where we might have gone wrong: Mayabazaar apparently specializes in South Indian food, but we decided to venture into their Indo-Chinese offerings instead. We ordered chicken fried rice, chicken Hakka noodles, chicken lollypop, and--staying closer to their wheelhouse--South Indian thagubothu chicken. The verdict? Everything was just...meh. Nothing had that standout flavor or quality that would make you think, "I need to drive out of my way for this." We were two families, seven people total, and we sampled what felt like a rainbow of preparations from their menu. The food wasn't bad, per se, but it wasn't memorable either. None of us have made the trip back. Hartford County already has a crowded field of Indian restaurants, each claiming authenticity and trying to carve out their niche. Mayabazaar has real potential--the creative branding shows they're thinking outside the box. But potential only goes so far. The execution needs to match the concept. Maybe we should have stuck with their South Indian specialties instead of the Indo-Chinese route. But when a restaurant offers a diverse menu, everything on it should be worth ordering. For now, Mayabazaar remains just another option in an already saturated market.
