We came from out of town this is some of the best barbecue I have had. The chicken thighs and legs are some of the best chicken I've had and a barbecue place and the ribs are very tasty as well. Some one went here and brought me 2 ribs and a chicken thigh, cold. First I noticed that they are "naked" -- without slobbering BBA sauces. This is a good sign that the grill master was confident on the meats on themselves, sauced or not. The ribs were tender, smoky, and flavorful. Quite impressive considering that I ate them cold. I reheat the chicken, in microwave for 30 seconds, the next day. It was not dry, skin not soggy, and meat warm just enough to fall off the bones with good smoke and juice. I was, again, impressed. I can't believe I missed this place for 15 years?! What a gem! I like the cool idea of using the 3D barcode for sharing the menu especially nowadays with social distancing rule. Dine-in is still opened with about 7 tables. Service is great and friendly. The barbecues are something to die for. Not overly strong smoked flavor. I really like the tie-tips because of the even distribution of the fat and moisture. The brisket was not bad but would like to be a little bit more tender and moist. They offer two sauces. Tangy bbq and spicy. I like to mix them both. The side was above the average. It has Mac and cheese, salad, onion ring, coleslaw and bean. I ordered a 3 meat combo with chicken, brisket and baby back ribs. The meat was practically falling off of the rib bones... that is a great sign! The brisket was moist and flavorful as well as the chicken quarter. The portion size was more than enough. The mac n cheese was good as well as the cowboy beans... the highlight of the sides was the sweet cornbread... I have zero complaints. When the server came by she would slam the sauces and waters on the table and go away. There was no utensils on the table even by the time our food were brought on the table. Seriously good food, proteins were great, French fries may be the best fresh cut fries I have had in a long time, super fresh coleslaw. Cornbread was moist and sweet. The negative is that they need to use different bread for their sandwiches because the bun literally fell apart and ended up eating with a fork. A fresh crusty roll would work better than a soft bun or maybe toast the bun so it can hold up to the saucy meat. We will definitely eat here again and bring friends and family so even a poor bun won't stop a return trip but if they could fix the bun issue I think my husband would be back all the time with his coworkers since he works down the street now. read more
