Ultimately they wanted to install a new $25,000 AC unit and would clean the ducts for "free". The second company that came out, name starts with "F", and that's what they wanted to do. We didn't even let the guy finish the inspection to get a quote because he too wanted to upsell us. We then called Gesundheit. Mr. Barker gave a quote over the phone based on the number of vents in the house. Added cleaning the dryer vent for an additional $129. The two guys that came out did a great job cleaning the vents and cleaning up after the job was done. They took care to treat our home with respect as they performed their job. The equipment on the van that provided the air pressure required to perform the process overheated and did not work. A supervisor? With the company came into my house without an introduction accompanied by the franchise owners son or grandson. The supervisor was outrageouseley condescending to the young man. The supervisor tried to justify a cold air return filter reinstalled backwards. " it doesn't matter how the filter is installed ". I am not sure if the duct cleaning was ever completed properly, there was no feedback from the technician. The equipment used to clean the carpet and tile grout was disgusting and covered with the residuals from previous jobs. They came out, did an inspection and advised her she needs a new unit, quoted $18K and insisted she signs the paperwork immediately. When she took advice from others and called other companies that have fantastic reviews she was quoted $10K over the phone, same install and unit. One company advised they would like to come out and diagnose the issue instead of just quoting a new unit based on a diagnosis from another company. They came out and they found the issue and she didn't need a new unit and got it repaired for minimal expense. It's been working great for the last 6 months. Do not trust Aireserv - read reviews and get more than one diagnosis and quote. This company is sneaky and taking advantage of elderly people. I have read several reviews on many sites for Aire Serve now and see where they mis diagnose on many requests and go right to needing a new unit. I am writing this review from my perspective so people know what kind of company they are dealing with. I waited a while because I wanted to make sure her repair would last and it has.

If you think your drying time is taking too long it is likely to be because of restricted air flow. The volume of lint he got out of each of the three duct runs was amazing and the one that I've tested so far has cut the drying time in half! I called to schedule thinking it would be at least a week or more but they were able to get to us in two days! They showed up on time and were friendly and were thorough in answering some of our questions about how to extend the life of our area rug and carpets. They cleaned the rug, couch, and a few rooms and added a protectant to the rug. I will say (and I feel like this is like anything) they did upsell and what we ended up paying was definitely more than we expected but I don't think that was on them really, we booked knowing the base cost they just did their job and sold us on extras.
