Requested duct cleaning and carpet cleaning after contamination from drywall repair contractor. The stanley steamer process started with duct cleaning. The equipment on the van that provided the air pressure required to perform the process overheated and did not work. A supervisor? With the company came into my house without an introduction accompanied by the franchise owners son or grandson. The supervisor was outrageouseley condescending to the young man. The supervisor tried to justify a cold air return filter reinstalled backwards. " it doesn't matter how the filter is installed ". I am not sure if the duct cleaning was ever completed properly, there was no feedback from the technician. The equipment used to clean the carpet and tile grout was disgusting and covered with the residuals from previous jobs. One of the technician carried the grout tool, dripping water thru my living room. The technician left so quickly that they left equipment behind? I requested a call from their operations principle and have not been contacted. Wes Bates might consider contacting PV steamer franchise owner. read more

Absolutely horrible. Left our house a mess! Our walls are all beat up. Black scuff marks on them and the floors. Left thick soap scum residue all over our tile. Missed so many spots the floors didn't look clean at all! We paid to get our laundry room cleaned and it was missed entirely. They cleaned with the front door open so petals from our rose bushes blew inside and they left them there! On top of all that they broke the leg off of my daughters table and tried to hide the fact that it was broken by burying it in couch pillows!! Didn't have the balls to tell us they broke it. Ended up having to steam mop the entire house again to get the soap off. Wreckless. Careless. Stay away from this business. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised that the owner immediately contacted me to say that there was a miscommunication between the tech and his office. The fact that the business owner immediately apologized and made me feel valued is worth a lot in my estimation. I had been planning to schedule carpet cleaning this week and saw a Stanley Steamer truck outside my neighbors house. I went over to see if I could get mine done, and though this particular technician couldn't do the job, he was very accommodating, and was able to get someone out to my house on the same day! Curtis came later in the afternoon and did a great job. He was very kind and professional, and made sure that I was happy with the job before he made any preparations to leave. This is the first time that I've had them do my carpets, but I will definitely call them, both to do my carpets in the future, and also to clean my tiles and grout. read more

Stanley Steemer just left and their work exceeded my expectations. We bought this house in Spring Valley AZ. It is about 12 years old and I suspect the carpet is that old. Furthermore, the previous owner had dogs and when we moved in there were two large very noticeable urine stains on the carpet in the hallway. The two-man crew came out and spent about an hour. Not only are the urine stains gone, it looks like we have new carpeting. read more

Haved used stanley steamer carpet cleaner services in the valley, so didn't think twice about using this one. On three rooms, they were here for 30 minutes which was ridiculous. They did not spray for pet stains or spots, did not use spacers under the furniture, barely cleaned and then removed water from carpets. The result, terrible, not even evidence of the carpets having been cleaned. Will never use them again. I do not recommend them, there are others that actually clean your carpet. read more

Also my first time using Stanley Steemer. These guys were great. The carpet looks brand new. I am thrilled. The last two people I had in to clean the carpets did a junk job. It took forever and within a week, the rug looked awful. Stanley Steemer--two very nice men showed up on time, went to work and were done in an hour. There was a lot of rug to do and I have dogs. Messy dogs. Muddy dogs. I live in the pines and one of the trade offs for the beauty is that there is mud and snow, for sure. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have these two consummate professionals get in, explain things and get my carpets as close to brand new as possible. Ask for Jamie and Shaye. This is second time I have used Stanley Steemer at my cabin. Both times Michael came out. This time he was with RJ. They showed up on time and were here literally all day. We have been using Stanley Steemer to clean and treat our carpets for the past three years. They seem to have an ongoing personnel turnover which has resulted in a decline in the quality of their carpet cleaning service. Our most recent carpet cleaning left areas of the carpet untouched, notably behind the bedroom doors. We didn't notice this until a few days later when we closed the doors and saw the very noticeable difference of cleaning between areas of carpeting. While we have been satisfied with Stanley Steemer in the past, we may consider using someone else in the future in hopes of getting more attention to detail in the workmanship. The local Stanley Steemer franchise has contacted us after our initial review and offered to retreat our carpets or provide a refund in the name of customer satisfaction. We have opted to wait until the next time our carpets need cleaning and stain repellent for them to make the adjustment. This is excellent customer response on their part and they indicated that they will address the performance and training issues as ongoing staff changes occur. Based on their their prompt response the rating has been increased to 3 stars, which reflects current performance only. Historically they do deserve 5 stars based on past performance, and we hope that after our next carpet cleaning our evaluation can be increased to where it truly belongs. This review has been updated to 5 stars one year later. The customer service we received from the Prescott Valley Stanley Steemer franchise has been outstanding. All of the problems we experienced a year ago have been addressed satisfactorily through staff retraining and the carpet cleaning & treatment are once again back at high levels. I just had the best experience ever with Stanley Steemer Prescott Valley thanks to Porter and Chris! I just did some major remodeling and needed my ducts cleaned out. I also bought a used love seat and chair for a great price but it really needed cleaning as well as my existing couch. Porter and Chris were very friendly and knowledgeable and really took their time with everything.. the ducts were really bad and they showed me some of what the got out of them and we had been breathing all that stuff in... I didn't even know they did duct cleaning but what an amazing job they did! They furniture also got the best cleaning ever including some extra spots that needed some TLC! I am very disappointed in Stanley Steamer. My husband received a phone call at 7:30 am the day we were to have our carpets cleaned staying due to the snow, the technician was able to get out of his driveway and rescheduled the appointment. Not 30 minutes later a Stanley Steamer truck pulled into our driveway talking on the phone only to leave shortly thereafter without talking to us. When they failed to show up at the second scheduled appointment, my husband called only to be told no appointment had been scheduled. When I contacted the office to express my disappointment in their business, I was told by both the office manager and owner that the technician was unable to make it up the hill into our development, and accused me of lying. read more

I had a few upholstery pieces, as well as my area rug and car mats cleaned by Gabriel. As someone who is very picky about cleanliness, I was surprised and pleased with the results. Everything was thoroughly cleaned properly and I was amazed by the deep clean and attention to detail Gabriel delivered to my home, as well as his professionalism. Several months ago we hired Stanley Steemer to clean our carpet, which is just a couple years old and did not have any stains on it at all. However, we have 5 dogs, so I knew there must be a lot of dirt ground into the carpet. I was told that the carpet did NOT need to be vacuumed first but couldn't imagine that so I went ahead and vacuumed it using a Dyson vacuum that is specifically if you have pets. I saved the dirt and dog hair to show the carpet cleaning guys. When they got here I took a few minutes to show them areas where I thought they needed to focus the most attention. My living room is huge so imagine my surprise when they set up, "cleaned" the carpet and were on their way out the door in half an hour!! After it was dry which took 2 full days, I vacuumed the carpet and it was like they had done nothing!! I was so discouraged that I bought a carpet shampooer and will clean my carpet myself in the future. Save your money and don't hire these people. read more

He agreed that the coupon policy can be confusing and sent a check for $50. to compensate for lack of coupon savings. Additionally, he came to our house with Sean, a senior associate, and they re-cleaned my high traffic areas. The carpets look great now and I truly appreciate the follow-up customer service of this organization. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have their carpets cleaned. read more
