I knew the previous owner of the Maytag store in Prescott, AZ, but I didn't know the current owner, so I took a chance. I based my Choice on the reviews from Yelp. So, you just give out random names (with no last names) without knowing their reputations. The lady then said, "My Mondays are busy I can't help you" and she turned her back on me. Horrible customer service, they don't give a sh*t for their customers & they were extremely rude! Don't bother giving them your business...they're way overpriced too!

Mike arrived and replaced the motor in the freezer. He showed me what was going on inside the freezer and was so knowledgeable. But the fan kept running day after day even after the refrigerator and freezer had food inside. I realized that something else was wrong. Problem with GE refrigerator after several power outages it stopped cooling and making ice. I was told to check switch that may have been turned off but the refrigerator was at a short term rental and the guest could not find the switch. It did turn out that the switch was off but the poor review is due to the fact that I spent a lot of $$ to fix and they were unwilling to make another house call to check their work and make sure it was all working.

We've had the dishwasher for over 2 years and it's been difficult to program and start from the beginning. Sean replaced the defective console and started it several times before he left to be sure everything was working properly. However, I was unable to start it a couple of days later. I called him back and he came out to check the new console to see if it was okay and it was. The console was a little stiff for me so he told me to use the eraser on a pencil to press the start button "dead center" since the start and cancel commands are so close together - and it started. Especially since i needed a bunch of screws to build a bed frame but I couldn't find them om my own without the help of the employees. The quality of everything I bought here was all worth the money despite the high prices. Most of my tools for my first tool box as well as the box itself came from this location and they're still holding strong and working properly. The store had such an amazing selection of hardware to choose from its better than home depot and lowes. The biggest criticism is the high prices of the products. But still it's worth the money and quality tk ensure you get something that'll last a life time. Check out this store over other hardware stores.

Either there is a super secret entrance that I didn't find or the just were not open. Kind of disappointing to drive all the way from Cordes Lakes to Prescott and find them closed. Plenty of folks lined up along the walkway not sure if they were all there because they expected it to be open. Some had their belongings with them which caused me to speculate that they likely are experiencing homelessness. I do hope they are getting the services they need from both Salvation Army and the City of Prescott. Not sure I'd bother to make the trip again despite my desire to support this organization.

Just an update about one of the programs offered by The Salvation Army in Prescott, AZ. The winter…read morewarmup program usually begins in early November. The program provides a safe and warm place for homeless men. A meal is also provided for men and women. After the meal, the women are transported to other shelters. However, the bathrooms and showers provided for the clients have been shut down since June. The culprit is a mold issue. That's 5 months. Here it is Oct. 3rd and still the issue has not been fully resolved. A house can be built in 5 months! That's a chilling example(yes, that's a pun) of how poorly management runs the operation. The washing machine and dryer are key to the successful operation of the program. The are also unavailable due to the existing mold problem. Will the program start on time? Good question. I brought my Dyson vacuum in for repair with a very specific issue. When I picked it up, it had…read morereceived "a very good servicing" I was informed and paid $65. However, the problem itself was not addressed or repaired. I called the Dyson help line to get the diagnosis confirmed and returned to the shop. They couldn't fix the problem but offered to apply the $65 towards a new vacuum. They do not carry Dyson so I left with my broken vacuum and felt ripped off because they never addressed the reason I brought it there.
