Nan went above and beyond to donate a wonderful used washer to my family and had it delivered the very next morning! Maytag Marc made the delivery experience wonderful with a friendly smile! I went into Quality Maytag to get some help regarding an appliance subcontractor in which they had given me the service guy's name & telephone number. All I wanted was some names of vendors in which they do business with in ordering parts. The owner told me abruptly "this is your problem not mine, there's nothing I can do about it." The gray haired lady sitting at the front desk told me "all we have are names (no last names) of contractors." Really? So, you just give out these names knowing absolutely nothing about these people or how qualify they are to repair items! The lady then said to me" my Mondays are very busy, there's nothing we can do" and then turned her back on me. Horrible, horrible customer service, very rude & they really don't give a sh*t for their customers...and they are way overpriced too! read more

My husband and I visited Quality Maytag on Iron Springs RD. in Prescott. We bought a Speed Queen which is American made and a long lasting wash machine. Sales people were great and friendly. I would recommend this place if you want to shop local. Other stores which will remain nameless do not know as much information about the appliances as these folks do. read more

Nan lied to my wife to try to sell a speed queen. she looked us right in the face and told us that the speed queen washer that is a 3.4 cubic foot captivity is really a 4.3 cubic foot capacity washer and that Maytag just advertises it as a 3.4. I wrote the owner and called repeatedly trying to make an appointment to talk to him. I was not looking for a refund, my intent was to tell him where the communication failed. I want to thank Quality Maytag for the help they offered me, start to finish! From the moment I walked into their showroom (1097 Iron Springs Road), I was acknowledged and treated personably. Once I was able to speak with Nan, she immediately guided me through the process of acquiring my Maytag MHW8630HC Washer and MGD8630HC Dryer (w/XHPC155YC Pedestals) seamlessly and efficiently, and I walked out moments later with a pending invoice and dryer on order! One thing I'm compelled to mention... my FIRST contact was a phone call late on a Saturday afternoon, a full 30 minutes after closing. I was shocked when a 'live' person actually picked up, and it was Nan (Chris & Nan, owners)! Who does that anymore?! =) My Dryer arrived at their warehouse, and both were installed the NEXT day. The installation was completed by two capable and proficient gentlemen, and Chris (Owner) even stopped in to check on their progress and my satisfaction. I will soon be looking for a replacement for my stove/oven, and I will need look no further than Quality Maytag. We purchased a Frigidaire 18 cu ft refrigerator from Quality Maytag on Sat 9/24/22 and arranged for delivery on Mon 10/3. The unit was delivered on time but NEVER WORKED/COOLED. After 24 hours it was barely cool. An authorized Frigidaire service person confirmed there was no refrigerant. Quality Maytag quickly arranged for a similar unit to be shipped from Phoenix and it was delivered on Thu 10/6. This was a more expensive unit for the same price. THANK GOD THIS ONE WORKED/COOLED. I have to blame Frigidaire, not Quality Maytag, because the unit should have been tested at the factory. I am giving Quality Maytag a **** rating because they made this right. read more

Couldn't be happier with our purchase of two KitchenAid appliances from a local business! We made our selection on Monday, February 28, and everything was delivered and installed by March 10! Admittedly the items we selected were ones they had in stock, but we were still thrilled with the short amount of time for installation. There was a small problem with lightbulbs in the oven and that was remedied the very next week by the "sister" business Maytag repair. Overall we couldn't be happier, and we're thrilled to keep our business local. (Yes we did check the big box stores and Costco. Either they didn't have the quality we wanted, or what we wanted wasn't in stock and we'd be waiting weeks or months.) read more

We wanted to give our business to a local company. I should have purchased through Best Buy, we would have the washer and dryer installed by now. We purchased a washer dryer last Saturday. We were told and I quote " you will have to take the floor model as it is the last one in stock." "I am going to get in trouble with my boss." my response was you are the boss, to the response someone always has a boss. He asked us for Monday or Tuesday delivery, we stated Tuesday was fine. On Tuesday we were called to set up the time for the delivery and missed the call. When I returned the call, there was an issue. "They had to deliver the floor model to someone else as the delivery guys couldn't find the new one in the box." He had to get a key to go to the warehouse and would call me back in an hour, the delivery might not happen today. 2.5 hours later, my husband called to find out the status, he was yelled at and told that he told me he wouldn't call until the next day. This wasn't true, he specifically told me he would call in an hour, the delivery wouldn't happen until the next day. This morning, still no call, when my husband called, he again was spoken to rudely. My husband canceled the order. Now he wants us to bring the credit card into credit the account. 99.9 percent of retailers, can credit via the transaction. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! I found negative reviews, which confused me because I personally found the customer service to be excellent. So, Intrigued about this, I asked the owners Nan and Chris about this and found that they had recently bought the business (6 or 9 months ago ?) . So its now under new management! I cannot tell you how well we have been treated with a level of personalized service you will NEVER get at a big box store, while their pricing is still competitive. They answer calls, return messages, email info, and go out of there way to accommodate in a time where it can be challenging to even order the 6 appliances we did. Was a great experience working with Nan at Quality Maytag in Prescott. We ordered a Jenn-Air 48 inch range hood to replace the one we had for 14 years. Nan was able to have one delivered to their store in about a week for us to pick-up. Because we picked it up on Good Friday, Nan was nice enough to include a discount. No no no no no!! We always try to purchase from small local businesses first. However, this business is only friendly and helpful up to the sale. If you need a repair after the sale, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! Expect to be told that you need to call the manufacturer (Whirlpool) and deal with your problem. In our case the dryer had a defective sensor. We purchased a washer and dryer in Jan 2021. This is June 21 and no repair, replacement or refund to date. This business will NOT refund your money. You will need to go through the torture of being on hold and dealing with the manufacturer, and hoping and praying that one day, you might get your appliance repaired. The worse part is the flippant attitude of the employee. GO ANYWHERE else unless you really want to pay for misery!! read more

Terrible experience. They have given me the runaround for the past two months on a brand new refrigerator that has only cooled to 42 degrees. They replaced the main components - and after waiting a over a month to get those parts - the refrigerator still did not work and they refused to advocate with whirlpool for me to get a new replacement refrigerator. Instead, they have passed the buck to another appliance store to get a second opinion. For two months, my BRAND NEW-refrigerator only cools to 42 degrees!! I told them I if I had bought the refrigerator at Costco, it would have been easily replaced. I was told by the owner that I should have bought it at Costco then! And I recommend that you should by YOUR appliances there to! Take it from their owner -- buy your appliances elsewhere! read more

Our washing machine AND microwave oven died within 24 hours of each other. In calling around for repair, I learned that the supply-chain chip shortage meant that my washing machine might take weeks to repair, if at all. And I hated the old microwave anyway. I went to Quality Maytag, wanting to patronize a local business rather than a box store. The staff was helpful, the owner was there and got involved, and their prices were comparable to the big box store. Delivery was within 3 business days, and the delivery crew were great, prompt and professional, and left the install area clean. My husband and I moved to Prescott recently and were in need of new appliances. We purchased a higher end dishwasher from this store. In addition, we paid for a service to install our refrigerator which was in our garage. Today when the dishwasher installer came, he informed us that he was not going to install our refrigerator and he did not have the parts necessary to complete the install. We drove to the store to inquire as to why, and the man behind the desk starting yelling at me and my husband. He said he was too busy to check into it, the ticket was probably lost and his people were working 10-12 hour days moving, installing, and delivering 350 pounds appliances. When we asked for a refund on our service fee for the install we were told to "leave the store" and he was calling the police. He called my husband a neanderthal and a few other choice words I can not repeat. He stood up as though he was going to hit my husband who is disabled. We are senior citizens and left the store shaken and without our refund. He is obviously not the owner and mentally unstable. Its unfortunate, we need to buy a washer/dryer and other appliances for our rentals. Guess its back to the big box store. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, and state consumer board, as well as other agencies. No one should feel threatened with their life. Please please take your business elsewhere. read more

Very poor after sales service. Would not even help me when I called to report a very loud sound on a brand new washer. They just gave me a couple suggestions and when I contacted them a second time they never responded. I had to coordinate my motor repair through Whirlpool. I do not recommend Quality Maytag. I was trying to buy "local" instead of big box and my experience was quite bad. I purchased a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Those items were advertised in the local paper as "Specials". I upgraded the dishwasher and the stove - but did not think the refrigerator needed to be upgraded. Bad decision! This side by side refrigerator is so loud that it disturbs the quiet enjoyment of my house. I have to play music or TV in order to be able to sit in my living room which is adjacent to the kitchen. I had the fan exchanged which made it a bit better - but not nearly enough. I had another technician come out - and the result - after over $300.00 total - was that the refrigerator has not enough insulation. I spoke to the owner, Doug, who told me that my refrigerator was an entry level item. So it was not really a "Special". Nothing he could do to help. He was not willing to talk to the manufacturer but suggested for me to call customer service. The prompts of the telephone system were wrong. I could not even prompt the system for a call back since the waiting was over 20 minutes even though it was offered in the message. I called back Doug and he thought that customer service did this so they don't get calls. So much for buying "Local"! And no more Maytag for me. read more
