My aunt has been working with Central Sewing for years. She raved about Phil and told me to call him when I needed service on my Viking Epic. He provided top notch service for my Viking Epic. Even though his shop is in Prescott Valley, he made a special trip to Peoria to pick up and deliver my machine at an agreed upon location. He loves working with people and is very knowledgeable with many brands of machines. I have purchased a brother cut and scan, a large cutting table and mat, a new Babylock Accolade serger, and a new Babylock Radiance from him. He came to my house to set up my cutting table for me, because I was a caretaker for my mother at that time and couldn't get out to pick it up. He also ordered me parts for my Horn cabinet that I had purchased from another dealer. He goes above and beyond expectations to ensure his customers are happy. Donna is another gem at Central Sewing. When I do get out to Prescott Valley, I spend the entire day at Central Sewing getting individualized training any time I am needing assistance with my projects. Donna introduces me to all sorts of tips and tricks of the trade each time I visit. She has a huge wealth of knowledge ... just like Phil. Central Sewing is the best place that I have ever done business with. I have purchased 8 machines from them in the 15 plus years that I have been doing business with them. Phil is extremely knowledgeable about all makes and models of sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, cabinets, etc. He always provides execellent service to all my machines and keeps them running in tip top shape. When I had an issue with my 10 needle embroidery machine he never gave up. He spent a lot of his time to find out what part needed to be replaced and never gave up until it was resolved and only charged me for the part that was necessary to repair the machine. His expertise is invaluable. Anytime I am in his store he is so personable with everyone in his store and treats everyone like family. His employees are also great especially Jamie and I miss her very much. I am so happy to have Central Sewing in Prescott Valley. I promised my granddaughter some embroidered towels which I needed to complete in two weeks. My machine went down so I took it to Central Sewing believing that I had little chance to get it back in time to complete all the towels. I have been going to Central Sewing for a while now. I can not say enough about Phil and his staff. He has helped me when I was having issues with a new machine; unfortunately, I did not purchase it from Central Sewing, which was a big mistake. He went above and beyond to help resolve my issues, more than once. His staff is phenomenal, Donna is always there to help when I have any problems or issues with my machines, and she is so knowledgeable and willing to help. I wish they had a place closer to me. Sorry to see only 4 stars here! I would give them 5+!! I walked in very frustrated with 2 Pfaff machines! Phil walked me through the machines' problems, adjusted them, give me some tips on use, and demonstrated that they each worked perfectly! He went out of his way to be sure I was satisfied and even called his son to jump our dead battery. I was in with an elderly friend to learn how to put the bobbin in her Husqvarna sewing machine. Phil showed both of us how to thread the machine, how to load the bobbin and how to put the bobbin in. He was so helpful and patient giving us several hints on how to use this machine. He took his valuable time and wouldn't let us pay for his time. He was very sweet and kind.
